I received an ARC for an honest review.
4 months later, Angie and her friends are in a bunker hiding from the aliens and hoping to find a way to kill them and save the world. Angie and Kit have become closer, Stacey and John even more so, and Max is out in the world fighting a for a world that may not exist much longer. When Angie hears news she feared, her and her friends set out on a mission to save the one she loves while hoping to make it back alive.
The story is action pact with plenty of moments where you fear for each character and hope for the best. I was constantly waiting in anticipation for what would happen next. If you love apocalyptic stories this series is definitely a good read.

Wow. This book was amazing. Angie and her friends are hiding underground from the Aliens that are bound and determined to take out the human race. Can Angie and her friends stop the Aliens or will human race cease to exist

World at War takes place a few months after the first book Arrived left off with Angie, Stacey and John having found safety in an underground booker while Max is out fight the aliens trying to make the world safe again for humans if that is even possible.
These aliens that have invaded the Earth are very intelligent and strong. A group of scientist at the booker is working on creating a weapon that hopefully will kill the aliens. The aliens are working on taking over the Earth and the humans. Anything the aliens touch just seems to dry up and turn to dust.
Angie receives news that Max and another soldier has gone missing. The military believes they are dead but not Angie. She can’t rest or move on without some kind of proof. Angie along with her friends Stacey, John and Kit all set out to find Max or what happened to him. Angie doesn’t understand how the military can just give up without even looking for them.
When Angie and her friends reach the surface they see with their own eyes what the aliens have been up to and what it has cost the Earth. They witness first hand just how smart these aliens truly are and what they are capable of. Even with all of this new info on the aliens it still does not deter Angie from her mission of finding Max the one she loves.
Angie also has a thing for Kit as well. Both men have feelings for Angie. Not only do Max and Kit have feelings for Angie but John feels something for her too. Oh yeah the hormones are flying. Some are mature about it but others are not so mature about it though which results in some chest beating.
War at World is a fast paced read that will keep you on the edge of your seat flipping the pages racing along trying to figure out what the aliens are going to do next and surprising you on occasion with what they are capable of doing but the humans will surprise you as well. War at World is a very intense read that will keep you engrossed with all of the aliens and excitement wondering what they are up to and why they are here. Why have the aliens invaded Earth? What do they want? Why are they here?
I would recommend World at War to all fans of science fiction and aliens with a little love story on the side. World at War is an amazing brilliantly written story. I can’t wait to know more of Angie, Stacey, the aliens and the rest of the crew’s stories.

The only time I really enjoyed it was when it switched to Max's out fighting and when Amber left the hideout.
I also didn't like how it skipping 4 whole months from the first book. I was mainly focused on Angie's love drama life than what's going on around the world. Book gets 3.5.

Couldn't wait to get my hands on this one and now that i did it was amazing. Angie and her friends shows you how some friends can really be family. I know she has a tough road ahead of her but she has the drive to move forward and get back what is "hers" (family). Great book and I really can't wait on book number 3

The continuing story of Angie and her friends is fantastic. Angie has lots of hard decision to make and there not easy. The aliens are changing and no for the good. The earth is almost dead along with the human race. Can't wait for the next book.

I received an ARC for an honest review.... Angie and her friends go on a journey to find two fellow soldiers that were taken. this a continuation from the first book so you have to get read the first one. Angie and max have a thing and he gets captured or goes missing and Angie needs to know and find out what happened to him. it's a long journey and Angie discoveres new feelings and finds other people with a new revelation of what the aliens can do. eeeek!!!! you are basically on edge if your seat! I recommend this book if you enjoy sci-fi. a little romance, and action to survive. Kathy knows how to keep you biting your nails. lol... it's a fantastic read and I can't wait to get the next installment.

You are about to enter a world unlike any you have encountered before. Highly intelligent aliens are taking over the world. The military is trying to fight them off, but are they winning or losing?
But, life goes on in small pockets of survival. Angie loves Max, or does she love Kit? Her mother is slowly "becoming" an alien. And, she doesn't know where he father might be.
Great characters, plenty of action, some romance, family interactions...a very good story! I look forward to continuing this series.

Another great book by Kathy Dinisi. We find Angie at the secret base with Max's uncle and her best friend. Max is out doing his duty by looking for survivors and trying to kill aliens, but human guns have no affect on them and now the aliens are even more evil. It's a sad world they are leaving in their wake..

Another fantastic read by Kathy Dinisi. I just can't get enough of her books. This is the second book in this series. Will Angie find Max?! I really hope so. Arrived, World at War is action packed and full of suspense and anticipation. It's a must read. I'd read book 1 first though.
