I came across this book on Chinese New Year day on Friday, February 16th 2018, whilst my family was having a one-day trip to Malang. I decided to buy the book as sort of a be-good-to-myself gift as soon as I took a peep and was instantly fascinated by its content.
The quotes are what we all have been searching to ensure that each one of us needs to take action and take charge of our lives, however bad or monotonous they may seem.
The words are a true source of power to remind me that growth and change are crucial and necessary, and that we need to grow out of our lesser natures... fast, or better yet, improve and channel them towards the greater good.
The most important lessons are that 1) we should never waste time on things that are belittling our potential, 2) we should always be open to new possibilities, accept them with an open mind and be brave to take action upon them, and last but not least, 3) change is hard and it can rock us to our core, but we should never be discouraged from doing something since each of us is highly capable of achieving great things beyond imagination.
I recommend this book to anyone, especially the young generation, who are still in the process of growing up to become a person and therefore still figuring out life.
