A walking anomaly...Lucifer's greatest weapon.

Next to a battle lost, the greatest misery is a battle gained - Duke of Wellington

Cursed with enhanced mental abilities and consistently degrading eyesight, Asian-American Victoria Bouchard is a walking medical phenomenon most talented neuroscientists could never hope to unravel. As she struggles to cope with the news of her impending blindness, she learns of a deranged serial killer deemed by the FBI as the 'Ghoul Butcher’ who’s rapidly making his way towards her humble University in the heart of Rural Iowa. With police on a manhunt and the locals in a frenzy, her visual health is suddenly the least of her worries.

On the other hand, her lover and best friend Kaizer Dresden is determined to keep his distance from the case as it unfolds. As a Grim Reaper, stripped of his powers and exiled from his home world to serve out a three hundred year sentence on Earth; he knows he would be the prime suspect in the eyes of the immortals who banished him. But with the seemingly unstoppable Ghoul cutting a swath right for them, he and Victoria have no choice but to take matters into their own hands and investigate the murders in order to protect his new found home.

Delve into a world of magic, love, treachery, and an epic fight for survival between our pint-sized heroine and the father of evil himself. Victoria is an ordinary college student just like any other, but when the world needs saving, who has time for homework?

The Awakening is a full length adventure romance novel.

This book is a steal and a breath of fresh air.

Stuck at a university in the middle of nowhere, Victoria is a genius with financial issues and a debilitating disease that threatens her future. Not to mention the committed-non-relationship she's in with Kaizer.

As forces gather and the body count mounts, Victoria finds out her destiny is much more than she ever considered.

I really liked Victoria from the get-go. She's smart, independent, and completely relatable. Kaizer... hmmmm. I had a part time hate/love affair with him - a bit like Victoria, but their snappy dialogue made me laugh and keep turning pages.

This is the first book I've read by A.C. Greenlee, but it won't be the last.

If you like PNR/Fantasy - grab this. It's a bargain!

i discovered this author a while ago on facebook and i'm so glad i gave her a chance. her writing style reminds me of a mixture of sherrilyn kenyon, kim harrison and anne rice. she brings life to her characters in a way that i've never seen before. they're like real people and after every book of hers i read i find myself missing them when im finished lol

genesis is a romantic story at its cour but has a lot of action and butt-kicking. its like watching a movie or an anime with all the fight scenes.

the main character kaizer is sexy and strong but he's also the comedian relief in a lot of places because hes just so dang funny.

this is going to be one of my favorite books to reread because im on my second go around and im still putting littl e things together i didnt see the first time.

i thought bad grades by ac greenlee was gonna be my alltime favorite but she trumps herself once again.

sorry for my spelling english is not my first language :)

Good but malevolent

The writing is good. The topic was creative; Grim Reaper vs Demons and no God? Yet, the things that make this different are what frightened me. This is a good thing, I just can't shake the imagery. I was hella disturbed. It is a full-length novel, lots of action, sex, but not really a mystery. I, myself, don't like the nuance of demons being heroes, but I get there's a niche for it. So, if you like darker erotica, this is for you. I deducted a star for editing/typos.

Good action. But...

I loved the action in this book. But the editing and sequence order kept putting me off of a good read. I would suggest you clean it up some, then re-publish it.
