Jessica Harris has not been able to completely shake her abusive ex-husband Nick. Every time Nick says he needs to 'talk', Jessica seems to fall for his lines & ends up back in bed with him. She finally decides that she is done & doesn't want to be pulled down by Nick any longer. Her friends invite her for a night out & take her to a BDSM club instead of the local dive bar. Jessica doesn't know what to think about being in the club but once her friends have gone off, she decides to head to the bar & see what happens. What happens is Ethan McKnight, a tall man with short slicked back black hair, well kept stubble, bright blue eyes, & broad shoulders wearing a dark tailored business suit. They make causal conversation for a short while then Ethan suggests a game involving admitting the truth & shots of alcohol. By the time the shots are done, they are both ready to find a more private place to continue their liaison. Ethan briefly introduces Jessica to a world of dominance & submission. A couple of weeks go by & Jessica cannot stop thinking about Ethan & wants to go back to the club to see if he is interested in her. She is pleasantly surprised to find Ethan just as eager to see her as she was to see him when she does once again visit the club. As time goes by, Jessica spends more time at the club with Ethan until one night Nick shows up wanting Jessica back. Jessica refuses to go with Nick & he flees once the police are called. Ethan takes Jessica home with him that night because it isn't safe for her to go to her own place & she gets to see Ethan away from club. But Nick is not giving up that easily. Will Jessica be able to rid herself of Nick for good? Do Jessica & Ethan have a chance at a relationship? Or is Nick going to get his way?

Both Tia Lewis & Penelope Marshall deliver another wonderful romantic tale with a twist of BDSM & mafia bad boy thrown in the mix. It is a story about a woman who feels trapped by the choice she made in a partner & how she works to free herself from it. Learning along the way that dominance from a lover can be rewarding & satisfying. The story is believable & well written. This book is meant for mature readers!

WOW this book was great, although Jessica has divorced her husband she still cannot get away from Nick, He use to treat her like he loved her. like she was his queen but things changed and now he treats her like a possesion, an object, Jessica wants what they use to have and still goes back to him, they may be divorced but she still is weak and sleeps with him.
One night her two best friends take her out for the night Jessica thinks they are just going to the local dive bar, but her friends surprise her when they wind up at the newest hottest club in the city, A BDSM club, Jessica is a bit wary that is until the HOT sexy and dominate man Ethan Mcknight walks up to her. Their connection is intense. Of course Nick is still obsessed with having Jessica, Nick is an abusive criminal who thinks that he owns her and wont give her up, I LOVED this book

This is my first novel by Tia Lewis and Penelope Marshall. Jessica Notaro married a man she thought she loved. Turns out Nick Notaro had secrets of his own, and when Jessica found out what they were, it was almost too late. Thankfully she escaped, so she thought. Her divorce was on paper only. Nick and his mafioso ways were going to be the death of Jessica - or not.

One night out with friends, Mariah and Theresa take Jessica to a club. A different kind of club then what Jessica is used to. On this night, Jessica meets Ethan - a business owner and master of BDSM. Jessica and Ethan embark on a relationship that Nick is bound to end, one way or another.

This book is filled with everything makes a good suspense - mystery, violence, and hot sex. I highly recommend Sinful Torment.

Instantly hitting it off, they can't stay away from each other but her ex might have something to say about that. Jessica finally has found someone who gets her and will treat her like a Princess, but how long until her jealous ex will try to take her happiness away?A great short read and I love Ethan and Jessica.

Jessica was lucky to get out of her crazy marriage to Nick, but she kept getting pulled into his invitations to "talk" which led to other things. Thankfully, she finally decided to say goodbye for the last time. When she goes out with her girls that fateful night where she met Ethan, owner of the club, her life changes forever. Good steamy suspense to keep me on edge. Nick was a little psycho-possessive of Jessica, but I loved that Ethan was a strong male character to protect her. A hot read that moved quickly.

Hot, Steamy, Sexy, and a HEA

This novella was a BDSM story with a HEA. Ethan is a BDSM Club owner; Jessica is a divorcée with a ex husband who has ties to the mafia. The insta lust between Ethan and Jessica is well described and easily pulls you to find out more.

This is kind of a mafia book but more of a bdsm book. It was not my style however it was written well just didn't do it for me. There was a lot of bdsm but also a lot of skipping ahead and drawing conclusions I didn't see. It's not typically what I would read but I gave it a chance and for me it fell short but someone else may like it.

This is my first book by both of these authors. It was a well written sexy romance filled with suspense. I was unable to put this book down until the end. This book didn't really click for me. The whole time I felt like I was trying to push a puzzle piece in a spot where it doesn't fit.
It felt disjointed and unrealistic. Disappointed.

This story was so hot! It was quite different than anything I've read. I've ready many stories of women coming out of bad relationships, but this one was so unique. Jess has it so rough with Nick, he just won't quit her. Then when she meets Ethan I was really wondering what was going to happen next. I wanted to know when that bomb was going to drop. Tia and Penelope really made us work for that! Everything about this was so good! This was such a good combination of naughty, sweet and dirty. Can't wait for more from them!

Tia Lewis is a very versatile writer. She gives all kinds of stories that draw us in.

In Sinful Torment we meet Jessica Harris. She has been divorced for some time, but somehow finds herself tied to her very possessive and jealous ex-husband. Who by the way is also corrupt and connected. He keeps a close eye on her, never truly setting her free.

Tired and ready for a change, Jessica meets the owner of a BDSM club, Ethan, on a night out with her friends. They find a connection and she learns about a dom/sub relationship. Drawn into Ethan and what he shows and provides for her, she continues to spend time with him.

Enter Nick, her ex-husband who does not want to let her go. Can Jessica and Ethan find a way to be together, or will she lose everything for a man she no longer wants, but is too dangerous to walk away from?

This was a good story that kept me drawn in. It was good to see Jessica grow and stand up for herself. Ethan and Jessica were also very hot together, plus add some suspense and you have a story that you will enjoy.

Sinful Torment by Tia Lewis was a 4-star read for me.

Juvenile writing

This book was a rare DNF for me. The author needs help with sentence structure, as well as the use of commas. The writing also seemed immature. I just could not force myself to finish it.

Side note: if your reading this for the BDSM don't expect to be thrilled with it. And if your turned away by BDSM but can handle a rope then you'll do fine with this book. Don't let that push you away from reading this great book! It was more a romance with a background of BDSM. It was still smoking hot though!

The book is pretty fast to read. I finished it in a few hours, but it is really good! You can't help but love the main characters!

I normally hate all female characters in romance novels because they annoying me. I'm always complaining to my phone about how dumb they are or what they're doing. But amazingly I loved Jessica. After you read through the whole thing you get an understanding of the way she is and why she did things. It was nice for a change.

The book is in Jessica's perspective. She's 28 and just divorced her crazy ex husband. Her friends decide to take her out but not tell her where they're going. As you can guess it's the BDSM club "Twisted Sanctuary" (It's pretty ironic if you think about). After way too many drinks she meets Ethan McKnight.

Okay so talk about new book boyfriend! (Give me a second * fans face* okay! I'm good now). How can anyone not love Ethan? He's so sweet and honesty. And you have to love Ethan because of what he's hiding at his house. Read it and your find out.

I didn't have any major complaints for this book, but the Cave will make you roll your eyes at the full name. It's extremely corny and they mention it A LOT! It was definitely a fun read and very interesting.

Side note: if your reading this for the BDSM don't expect to be thrilled with it. It was more a romance with a background of BDSM. It was still smoking hot though!

I really enjoyed this book and put it at a 4.5 stars. It lost half a star because (a) whilst it did engage me it didn't smash my emotions and (b) there isn't really any BDSM content (other than they meet at a BDSM club). There was mention of them having engaged in BDSM play but the actual narrated sex scenes, whilst hot, were fairly vanilla.

The characters are nicely developed, your very initial impression of Jessica may be poor but you soon realise that her actions are a direct result of how she has been treated. The book is written entirely in the 1st person from her POV so you really get to understand Jessica and see how she takes back control of her life. The story flows smoothly, the dialogue was natural and I was drawn in to what is a gripping story. This wasn't a bunch of crude sex scenes held together with a weak plot, it was a well planned and executed book.


The suspense was done well, I almost expected something a little more dramatic but what was in the book was more realistic. In fact that was another good point for the book - it was a believable story and not too 'only in a book'.

Don't get put off if you don't 'feel the love' for some of this book - I don't want to put any spoilers but there are a lot of things that become clear by the end of the book. And it is definitely worth reading all the way to the end.

I was given this book for my honest review. I loved it and can't wait for the rest of the story. It will keep your interest until the end to see where the story goes.
Jessica is trying to get out of a bad relationship with her ex husband who is very possessive of her even after their marriage has come to an end and still uses her. He is a corrupt man but she doesn't realize how bad until her friends tell her the truth about him. Jessica is not looking for love when her friends take her to The Twisted Sanctuary for a night out. It is a new experience for her when she realizes it is a BDSM club. When she meets Ethan she is drawn to him and he wants to show her what the club is all about. These characters have great chemistry together and are drawn to each other even though neither was looking for more. Ethan is determined to make her forget about her past and help her move on to a life where she is not afraid of what her ex will do if she ignores him. This story is suspenseful and exciting. The BDSM is light but just enough for the beginning of this story.
Can't wait to see where this story goes next. I will definitely keep reading and tell other about it.

Another fantastic book by Tia Lewis and Penelope Marshall, I am just loving these collaborations with these two.

What a great story with the underbelly mafia and a bit of bdsm thrown in it made for a very sexy and suspenseful novel. This book was faced paced and had you hooked from the very first page. With the sexy club owner, the mafia ex husband and the girl in the middle made for a fantastic story

I really liked Jess she was a great character and getting out of a marriage like hers was tough and as the book went she grew stronger and it was awesome to go through that with her. Dealing with her psycho ex, who thought weather they were married or not she was his and would try to do anything to keep her.

I really liked Ethan from the start he was dominating but caring at the same time and I loved his instant connection with Jess., the fact that he was her prince and she was his princess and that's how he treated her I loved that about him.

Loved loved this book and if your looking for a shorter, fast paced, easy to read novel then you need to get this baby.

Well then, Tia Lewis and Penelope Marshall created another book of awesomeness! This one literally grabbed my attention from page one, and had me in its sexy, twisted clutches till the very end! I wanted to take her Ex out my sef!! If you are looking for a Sexy, flirtatious, suspenseful twist,fast paced read with the kind of romances that makes you sigh with content, then this would be a great book for you!

Another book that I love from Tia and Penelope!
I love this book and I needed more, we have the story of Jess, she's a divorced woman trying to survive to her ex husband and to rebuild her life outside of the dark life of her ex. One night with friends change her completely when she mets Ethan, the owner of a BDSM club and she wants to feel different and wanted, Ethan is sexy, that's it( ok he's more but you need to read this)you will definitely enjoy this book. I loved the dama between here and the ex husband, gosh! I wanted to aghhhh! To that guy, I really hated him
I think that the characters where well written, I love that it was Jess POV,but I'm biased with Tia's writing and I'm a new fan of Penelope now, they wore books where you can feel everything, specially when there is action
What more can I say? You will have romance, a great story line and a great book!
