Larken is not your average guy. He’s street raised but business minded. Being part owner of a Harper’s, a successful bar and grill, affords him a certain lifestyle and plenty of women who want to share it with him. Larken is young and paid, and in no way interested in settling down anytime soon. Family secrets have a way of curbing his appetite for commitment, and he has no issues with that whatsoever.
Sydney knows what she wants, she just can’t seem to get all her cards lined up to make it happen. Life somehow keeps getting in the way of her future plans. Sydney’s only focus is finishing school and starting her career, which leaves no room for relationships of any kind. The down side is that without a car and a job, she doesn’t have the ability to make that happen. When both are snatched from her because of a shady business deal, she’s at a loss and struggles to figure out her next move.
Larken just happens to be in the right place at the right time and offers a solution to Sydney’s current situation. The two have no intention of making any kind of connection, but sometimes you find just what you need when you aren’t really looking. Will Sydney tame Larken’s wild side, and will he prove that he’s worthy of her time? This book was def good it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Larken is something else but I like him. Sydney is cool and is about her business. I know Rich is up to something he should let it go. I can't wait for part 2.

Oh god!!!!!!!
Just when things was looking good for Sydney and Larken this happens. I hate the fact that it's a possibility that Larken could be the daddy of Jacie baby and for her to come out the blue with it just shady. Rich got some nerves with a whole family trying to be in his feelings about Sydney cause he can't get his way. Ready for part 2 cause I know it's going to be good. Great job KC Mills.....

I'm so glad Lark and Sydney finally got it together. They're perfect for each other. Should've known it wouldn't be easy. I pray Jacie's baby ain't his. But considering he was drunk. Ain't no telling what she did why he was while he was impaired. I hope Sydney takes in consideration that Jacie was b4 her time. Rich is going to be a problem too. He's thirsty.

Good Book
Larken needs to get a dna test when Janae has that baby. I don't believe it's his. Sydney is a good girl. Hopefully her and Larken can have a good relationship. Can't wait to read pt 2.

I enjoyed getting to know larken and his beginning. I'm definitely curious about his relationship with his mother. Sydney seems like a sweetheart, I hope she gets what she deserves. I don't understand Rich he needs to move around. Good read

You right the best books and no two characters are the same ever. You truly have a good given gift and this book was fire. I think Jace trapped Larkin and I hope the baby is not his. I know he wishes that his first child CD was with Sidney and I hope it is too. They seem like they are finally getting it right. Rich is crazy as hell he has a while family at home and wants to start causing drama with Sidney and Larkin. I hope his woman finds out what the he'll he's doing cause he needs dealt with with his cheating behind. Can't edit till the next book drops.

Good Stuff
I love when a story reads like you are with old friends,and this is exactly what this one does.The writer brings you into the lives of these characters with such ease and moves the story at a pace were you are not having a dull moment.Also we get ordinary people you can identify with on many levels.The characters are people you can know and cheer for and like.This was just an around good read and an enjoyable experience.

Good Read
Larkin a serial womanizer has finally met his match I'm Ruonala them after the death of his mother he finally come to terms that he wants more and I'm so glad that girlfriend gave him another chance of course it wouldn't be that simple without the pants coming back to slap them in the face is that his baby I don't know but I can't wait to find out which characters that has goals and purpose I'm really into this free it's a little different but still exciting and so enjoyable this author definitely know how to tell a story I'm going to move on the part two because part one was out freaking standing

Fantastic read!
KC Mills has done it yet again! Never been disappointed, don't have intentions of being disappointed, when you are blessed to be reading an author's book that is so talented and blessed at what she does, you just continue to want more. As with every one of her books, the storyline and unique and original. It held my interest from beginning to end, just wanting more and more. This is definitely a must read and a page turner. Can't wait for part two! Great job!

Great book. First off I love Silk, she is straight up and outspoken. I love Sydney and Larken together, she calms him. I just love Mel and Reno also. I just know Rich is gonna be a problem, even though he has a family already. Is Jacie pregnant for Larken it just trying to pin it on him? Can't wait for the next book.

When your trying to do right
I kind of figured Jacie was going to be a problem. Sydney deserves happiness. Rich need to get his self together and be there for his family not trying to go after someone else. Larken I hope you can prove to her she is the one you want. I love Reno and Mel's marriage

Great story, where you feel connected to the characters. Larken is still learning and finding himself. While Sydney has hurtles to jump she knows who she is and is taking everything one step at a time.
