What a story?!? Holy cow! Left me on edge of my seat. Kept me up all night reading. Couldn't put it down, unless it was to take frequent breaks to ugly cry. Man this was epic. I'm sad it's over with. So many characters. I have become a fangirl and am smitten with Tamara Lush's writings! Lord have mercy you are talented. Keep doing what you're wonderfully amazing at! Thank you for the journey.

Wow just wow. I loved in-depth flow of this story. Emma and Caleb’s love story was full of love and also obstacles. It was so well put together and so real. With Caleb’s amnesia and missing so much the way Tamara showed both sides hurts and fears was so real to life. What a great deep writer.

The Story Series: Tell Me a Story - The COMPLETE Novel (Episodes 1-5) by Tamara Lush is a Contemporary Romance

Emma is the beautiful owner of a bookstore that hosts various events. One such event is Story Brothel, where an author reads her works to a customer for $2 per minute. Emma normally reads steampunk romance stories to hipsters. Until the night a flirtatious and attractive Caleb asks her to read him a story. Then Emma decides to try something different ... something she recently wrote ... erotica. Caleb enjoys the reading and comes back another night to ask Emma out for dinner and to read him a bedtime story. Emma agrees, thinking it's just going to be a one night stand and leaves after a hook up. But Caleb wants to see Emma again and they start spending all their time together. Emma and Caleb fall in love, get married, and Emma gets pregnant. Just when Emma thinks things couldn't be more perfect, Caleb disappears for 9 months. Thinking that Caleb is dead, Emma is ready to move on. Then Caleb returns but he has no memory of the last several years of his life or of Emma. Emma and Caleb want to get their old life back, but after months of therapy, Caleb still doesn't remember his life with Emma. Will Caleb ever regain all his memories so that they can have their HEA?

Tell Me a Story has suspense, angst, romance, love, and lots of steamy scenes. Tamara Lush put me through an emotional wringer with this page-turner. I highly recommend this book.

This was a suspenseful, steamy story about Emma and Caleb. Touches on some "50 Shades" themes, and I enjoyed the book, but you do need to read the complete story to get the whole picture. There were moments that I didn't care for Emma's character, but we can't expect them to be perfect, it's their foibles that make them the person they are. Caleb was pretty solidly likeable and hot. I liked the suspense story line and the twists had me wondering, but I was happy with the way the story ended. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Sexy and sweet at the same time. I was intrigued by the relationship between Caleb and Emma even though I found Emma a little immature. Definitely enjoyed and would read a new book from the same author.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love this story. The best one I've read, so far. It has the perfect blend of sexy details and romance and emotions as well. I love how it perfectly flows, and how it didn't weighed too much on one aspect only. Caleb had already swooned me from the beginning 😜 and I adore how Emma really developed and been through the rollercoaster of their relationship. There were moments where I think it's Emma who wrote this story 😁 And I love that no matter how much this story was told from Emma's POV (well, I think so), I get to know Caleb really well - on his view towards Emma and their relationship - something I didn't always found in stories I've read.

This is a well written romance story that takes you through the ups and downs of Caleb and Emma's relationship. This is a big book but it is broken down into five different stories.

Overall I have to rate this series 5 star. It most definitely deserves it. A complex multilevel story that begins so innocently with the reading of a story on a beautiful night in a cabana. What follows is a love story thru thick and thin and yes the unexpected. No one knew what would come out of that one reading, the love, pain, exploration, intrigue, the bond, the life, the experiences. This author reveals this story layer by layer book by book. She takes your emotions and plays you like a fiddle. She strings you along and gives you these moments when you can laugh and relax before she gets you with something else. Great story, well written and developed, awesome characters that are easy to connect to. Yeah it's like that.

Tell Me a Story - If you ask Emma or Caleb it was instant lust, something about reading an erotic story tickled their innards. Later as it turns out it wasn't just lust. As they build on their harmless flirtation and their relationship builds the secrets or things untold now become a hindering block to their relationship. Her bookstore and lively hood is being threatened and while she is trying to preserve it Caleb is trying to delegate work so he can spend more time with her. Will Emma allow her past and pride to stand in the way or will she let Caleb in? Or will Caleb allow his past keep his walls up and not let Emma in.

Good read lots of passion good plot. Good characters and well written.

Tell Me a Desire - As we move into the next phase of the relationship Emma realizes her bio clock is tick tocking away out of control as her 35th birthday comes up. Wondering what to do and where their relationship is headed causes her fits and riffs. We learn more about Caleb's previous relationships and they grow closer and get to know more. Love is precious but now is the time for them to figure out where to go from here.

This just gets better and better as we watch them grow into each other and feed this love. Nicely done as the passion continues and boundaries are pushed.

Tell Me a Lie - Well things just went up a notch with this book in the series. Don't get me wrong this has been an excellent series with drama and issues but things just went sideways to Sunday now that they have married and Emma's sex drive is out of control. While everything seems perfect something has happened to Caleb. Well Caleb is missing. Just vanished. One minute he was there and the next he's gone. Meanwhile Emma has to stay calm, take care of herself and the baby and find her husband.

This is a great read and this book of the series has the most action. Great characters and supporting caste keep you entertained and reading all the way to the end. You need to read this and start from the beginning you don't want to miss a thing.

Tell Me a Secret - What do you do when you are a passionate, able body, sexually active woman (even a little kinky) and all of a sudden the person who satisfies all of this and more vanishes without a trace. Emma is doing all she can to hold on to her sanity and keep her loss and loneliness to herself doing the best she can with her daughter. Life is going on around her and even her body is betraying her. The story continues becoming less and less light while the darkness and anger settles in. How much longer before she can consider moving on?

I love how this story progresses. It has gone thru the stages of this relationship to now the loss of him and how it has impacted those around him. Well done and most definitely not your everyday romance. And after the way this ended I have to get the next one because I am hooked.

Tell Me a Truth - Caleb is back or is he? who is this man that can't remember me? How can he possibly remember everything and everyone around me and not remember me? Emma is at a crossroad, forget that in the middle of a train wreck. The train wreck is her life. Yes Caleb is back and everyone seems to understand but her how she and her daughter are now something he has to adjust to. Oh my goodness I could never imagine. This author does a wonderful job of pouring all of that, the pain, indecision, the angst, the newness, the exploration, the understanding, the rebuilding all into this little book. You have got to start from the beginning and follow along to understand what has been built and fought for throughout this series. Done beautifully. This author played my emotions like a fiddle, well done.

I was really torn with this series! There were times I liked it and times I wasn’t sure what the reasoning was behind the storyline. I have to say overall, it was an enjoyable book until book 4, where the twist just really threw me through a loop that I didn’t expect and wasn’t the biggest fan of. I also feel like the twist was somewhat anticlimactic in the reasoning; something like that twist is a go big or go home type of twist. I did enjoy Emma and Caleb’s characters throughout the entirety of the series; especially Emma’s drive to continue to work and grow her business after getting involved with Caleb. The independence, drive, and tenacity she experiences makes her my favorite character from the series. It was definitely an intense storyline that thankfully ends with a HEA, and I totally recommend buying all the books together, because once you read the first one you’re sucked in!

What an absolutely amazing read! This series absolutely deserves every bit of this 5 star review! This story starts out quite simple with a simple night. The journey that follows is an absolute true love story that takes you through the journey of being there through the good and the bad. The amount of emotions throughout this story just took my breath away. Tamara Lush wove pure perfection through the pages and left me so completely satisfied. The characters Emma and Caleb were just a pleasure to read about and I love how these two grew so much with each other. Each section/episode into this complete collection just got better and better. So much passion, so much growth, and such an absolutely talented author.

I binge-read the entire Tell Me a Story books this weekend. I was reading the last two in my living room and my sister came downstairs and I asked me why I was crying. I responded that “My book is sad”. That essentially sums up the end of the Tell Me a Story books. Caleb and Emma’s story is heartbreaking and beautiful. There were times where it frustrated me and times when I sobbed and read fast because I wanted to get to the happy ending. And then I hated myself for reading faster because I wanted the story to last longer. Quite simply, a skillfully written, heart-breakingly beautiful love story.

This author blew me away with this book!!

The story kept me captivated from the first page, and I finished it in about 3 hours. The characters are AMAZING and the storyline is like nothing you’ve ever read. I cried, I laughed, I simply felt every feeling possible when reading this book!! Emma and Caleb are this amazing, sizzling couple who go through SO MUCH. They have highs and lows and everything in between. But, they get their HEA and you want more. I simply am blown away by this book and can’t wait to read more by this author!!

Seriously. Go buy this book. It. Is. Amazing.

🌟3.75 I liked this story. I do wish that it wasn’t broken up into episodes but that it be one seamless story with a bit more to tell fill out some areas. The last episode was the best! It made me think about my marriage and I tried to put myself in Emma’s shoes and that made this more real and helped me build a connection with the main character. By the end I was emotional. I did however find myself skimming through out the story here and there. And that usually is a sign that I’m not fully invested or committed to the story and I hate that. But overall it was a good read.

This is the first book that I have read from this particular author. I am so glad that I had the chance to do so. This is a complete set so you not only get the first, you get all the ones that come after which is a great buy. I thought it was written well and the story was fantastic. You get a love story that is romantic with a lot of sex mixed in. Who wouldn't want that. It tugs at your heart strings. Fantastic. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy.

This was good, but the editing could have been better, and one of my pet peeves presented itself. Too many people incorrectly state a woman's married name as Mrs. Jane Doe. WRONG. Only as a divorcee does a woman use Mrs. followed by her first name and her husband's last name. Correctly, when married, a woman should ALWAYS be Mrs. John Doe. She also can be Ms. Jane Doe, but not Mrs. Jane Doe until she becomes single. We have allowed ourselves to nearly destroy proper etiquette, but there's no reason why we can't get it back -- or does anyone care anymore?!

Again, good story.

I've never heard about this author and this was an impulse buy because of the price. I'm really glad I one clicked it, this felt like a well round, written and sexy series. At times Emma got on my nerves and Caleb was the best through the series. I did felt a bit off during the third and fourth book. I felt disconnected with the story because I didn't like where the story was going but I understand why, the author ended it amazingly. I really like the writing, the story was mature and realistic. This is an author I've discovered and will continue to read more from her.

Loved it!

What a wonderful story of Emma and Caleb. Me. Lush's story begins with them meeting for the first time and it's mainly told from Emma's POV, of how they fall in love, her insecurities loving a rich man and his reluctance to commitment. How she struggles when a tragedy happens and and has faith that they will have their HEA. Lol forward to reading more from this author.

I made a mistake in buying the full series volume when I just wanted to read the story of a writer seducing someone by reading erotic romance by the minute. That’s what really caught my attention, so that’s the story that I stuck with. I lost interest once the billionaire became the boyfriend and the plot line turned from the seduction to the romance. Therefore, I abandoned the series after the title novella. I left it on my Currently Reading list for quite some time because I enjoyed the writing style and thought that engaging style might entice me to read more of the poor girl-rich man trope than I already had. But I now have books to read for two or three book clubs, so my reading time is a scarce commodity too precious to be risked on a trope that is no longer my catnip.
