Lori had to go away and regroup, only to return to Manor where her life was turned upside down by one sexy but off-limits biker. Connor Apollo Locklear. She had it all figured out but then Apollo decided that he wanted to make amends and everything that Lori had planned went out of the window. Apollo didn't have anything to offer anyone. His Guardian brothers were the only thing he had and no woman, especially Lori, deserved to deal with his mess. She had her issues but Apollo knew them well. Xyla Turner was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She has always been a writer, even as a teenager, she wrote short stories and essays that won awards and nation-wide competitions. Xyla is an avid reader of romance novels and a sucker for sassy females and dominant males. She is a lifelong learner, High School Vice-Principal and a pretty good Auntie. Outside of reading, Xyla likes to spend time with her family and friends, experiment with dangerous adventures and travel. She writes different genres, but her favorite is romance.
Just Right is Apollo aka Connor and Lori's story and its oh so good. Turner does not disappoint and she pulls out all the goodies. Apollo is one of my favorite Guardians, he is sexy, brooding, strong, and such an alpha male. Lori was obsessed with Apollo, he broke her into pieces but now she is back stronger than before and engaged. Apollo will final listen to his soul and claim his woman. He will have to make a plan of action because amends or I am sorry will not break though the walls Lori has built around her heart. So take a journey with Just Right Book three of the Legion of Guardians, and find how Apollo will lay claim to his woman. Apollo is my new Book Boyfriend of June. Happy Reading!!!
I'm mad I took so long to read this! Lori and Apollo...whew! I've been waiting for this day. The day Apollo would do whatever it took to have Lori. The day he would apologize to her for embarrassing her. Though I was a little put off with how Lori kept holding on to the past, in a way I could identify with her. Big KUDOS for the plan Apollo put together. He had me swooning...literally lol. If you haven't guessed by now, I loved it! Great job, Xyla! And P.S. I'm ready for Bear & Swag's story.
i really enjoyed these books .. the format was pretty much the same in each one but they all had a separate story to tell. editing fell down a little in a few places but overall it wasn't too bad. sweet little romances with the bad boy/older man and the sassy/hold her own younger woman dynamic. hope there are more to come. def looking forward to Vita & Swag
5/6/19 - good reading, a hard headed woman and a harder headed guy.
Of all of the books this fat in this series, I really liked this one best! Not only did I feel more of the personal relationship between the women, I really felt it amongst the men! When one speaks of family, and the commitments to such just how these guys did, and then to follow trough; I was sold. Never let it be said that men are not as "emotionally involved as women.,...
I liked that they are a family and protective of each other. I can see where the Lady Guardians come into play. Even though he said something that cut deep for Lori they made amends and it help their love to grow because Apollo wouldn't let anything stop him from fighting for his and Lori's love.
It was good to see these two now working together. I hope it will last. These two are so much alike and I like both. Apollo the silent , smoldering sexy guy we all love. Interested in Vita and what she's about. Also Dessy, what's going to happen with her and Bear.
It was a great read. I love stories where the H has to work for forgiveness when they mess up. The story line was great and the H works hard to redeem himself. Loved it! Rated very good
This story and cast of characters are EVERYTHING! The entire series is 🔥. I can’t say enough good things about, so I just recommend you get on it, now!
I knew I would really love Apollo from his previous appearances in the series. I am happy to say he was not as bad as he seemed. The love, patience and kindness he showed Lori in this story was epic. Lesser men would have given up. J guess that's where is obsessive disorder kicks on.
I was proud of Lori for getting the help she needed and fighting so long to stay away from Apollo. Yes, I wanted them to end up together, but he had some crawling to do to make up for embarrassing her in front of the town. I was so happy she wasn't the push over I thought she was.
Their love story is just getting started and now their is trouble in Guardian territory. I am hoping nothing bad happens to Apollo since he is taking lead with this war that is brewing with the rogue Vipers. We'll see.
Great read.. I'm so happy that Apollo and Lori worked everything out. He loved her even before he knew it and after the scene at peppers he even went to her because love is to strong to be denied. I enjoyed it and anxiously waiting for Dessy and Bear story as well as Vita and Swag
Wow, for some reason after I just finished reading Apollo and Lori's story I actually I understand them more, I'm so happy Apollo didn't stop fighting for his one, well done Miss Turner, I love it!
Apollo and Lori finally got together! Lori made his ass work hard to get back in her heart, but he made it! Loved this book, can't wait for Dessy and Bear! Loving this series!
I find the hanging endings irritating. I'm sensing a trend in this series and I don't like it, but I want to know how the Vipers will be taken out. I liked that Apollo tried to make amends, but I did not understand his angst in the first place, if he really had feelings. Lori's character, though in denial was more tolerable in this book. Her character was immature when she was first introduced, but her ordeal caused her to grow up and not take mess from anyone. I related to her choice of changing her outside to signify an inward change, though people around you may not like those changes. Bear's story seems promising also.
