This story was far from what I expected and I liked it much more than I thought I would. Faith’s marriage has fallen apart. Her husband shares custody and she’s still working through the five stages of grief. She seems to still be stuck in the anger phase and it was pretty funny to watch. Each year, during the Christmas holiday, she and her little girls have a tradition - as a sculptor, she creates a winter wonderland in their yard. This year, her mother gifts her with a hoodoo bag, which was supposed to make all of her dreams come true. So what happens when she wishes her hot as heck snowman to be real? Horny and lonely, Faith loses it a bit as she embarks on a romance with her snowman. Thankfully, her ex-boyfriend Daniel is there to help save the day. Or at least help save her sanity. He happens to still be in love with her and is willing to do whatever it takes to have her. Even if it means giving into the hoodoo.

This was so good! I can't even put into words how to describe it. I love the paranormal and this book delivered. Kenya Wright put her own spin on it and it was awesome! This book was so fire. I remember pulling a muscle and it burned so bad that it felt like ice. Reminds me of this book. Keep doing your thing, KW!

OMG, I freaking speechless right now!
Kenya, you are a talented and amazing author. I have laughed, talked out loud to myself and yelled "what the hell". You are an amazing storyteller and I enjoyed this ride with Faith and Daniel. Throughout the book, I was hoping she would find her way back to Daniel. So if Remy (the snowman) and crazy ass Addie Mae helped her along the way, it was worth it. Loved this book, I laughing so hard and talking to myself, that my husband came to check on me! Good book, I really enjoyed it!

Hmm
It was interesting but still... I don't feel like it's complete. I understand books that are supposed to keep you wondering but it's something about this book that feels hollow. It's always a guessing game with Ms.Kenya, I don't necessarily mind, so I'll keep reading her work.

I typically love Kenya Wrights stories, and jump in to them fairly quickly, but with this one, i was a little apprehensive. I enjoyed the premise, but once I started reading, I skipped a lot of it. The characters were pretty cool and so was the story line. I guess this wasn't my exact cup of tea but it was still a pretty good read.

Unexpected. Totally not the way I saw this story going and I liked it. Faith a young divorcee, mother and artist starts to witness strange happenstances after her mother a known hoodoo practitioner gives her a hex bag just before Christmas what follows is her snow creations come to life. Meanwhile, her momma has given Faith's former boyfriend Daniel a similar hex bag in the hopes that they will get back together. But she hadn't quite planned for the spirit of a man who's death she is responsible for coming alive and almost ruining her plans.

Great holiday read
This was a wonderfully steamy hot holiday read. I loved the supernatural magical aspects of the story, but Faith and Daniel not wanting to believe and acknowledge what they saw was getting on my nerves. This book made me want to sculpt my own snow in hopes that he'd come to life. I loved this.

Kenya the only reason I even finish reading this mental breakdown of a story is because you wrote it. The your creative mind in describing how Faith sculptured the snowman, Santa and the mermaid was awesome. Girl! What you turned Faith mom into had me feeling like I had smoked a joint. Poor Daniel, but he did get the girl. After this story, I am so glad that I know Jesus.

There is always hope
This story was very creative and imaginative. That dang blasted snowman started all kinds of havoc. Faith was in a world of trouble and did not understand what was going on. She just knew she was going crazy. The only person that could help her was her Hoodoo conjuring mother Addie Mae. Little did she know that her mother was the cause of marrying Bret and separating her and Daniel with a hex gone bad. The adventure of figuring out what was happening along with the backstory was very interesting.

It was the end of a particularly difficult year of 2016. When people protest and countless televised murders and terrorist acts running rampant. For Faith is was particularly difficult with the ending of her marriage, moving back to her hometown, adjusting to caring for her kids alone, and discovering that for the first time she will be alone without her kids for Christmas. Faith is feeling the lost, the pain and loneliness of it all. Faith who is a well known artist, carved ice sculptures for the kids in the back yard. Before they had to leave. She felt particularly drawn to one snowman. So imagine once her children go and the impossible happens. The impossible being her sculptures comes to life including her snowman. She seriously questions her sanity yet at the same time her relationship with the snowman turns romantic. Faith believes she may be crazy. The question is ...is there anyone she can turn too who would believe her or help her?
This was one of those books that after I finish reading it I had to sit down with myself and reflex seriously what were Faith motives in engaging in a relationship with her snowman Remy. After reading half of the book I realized I didn't have a favorable opinion about Faith and could not figure out why. By the end of the story, I sat down and thought about the fact that my dislike was because I hadn't taken the time to analyze what Faith motivations truly were.
Faith is a much more complex character than what you see on the surface. She is a lot like many women that I know who make mistakes due to feeling unloved and more so not deserving of love. Even though i had problems with Faith's character I grew to accept why she was the way she was. On the flip side I felt that Daniel was a character that was too good to be true. Daniel had been hurt in the past by Faith and yet he was still a loyal friend of both her and the family.
The best dialog scenes in the book was when Faith had to admit to Daniel that she was in a relationship with a snowman. One thing I wish I would have been more conflict of Daniel feelings for Faith instead of blind trust. Although I love his character I felt he was a little to accommodating and yet at the same time Faith needed someone who was believe the crazy situation she was in and someone who was willing to help her through this situation that loved her no matter what.
What I thought would be an entertaining light read turned out to be more. It was entertaining, adventurist and to be honest I didn't know how it would end. I wasn't even sure if the story would have a peaceful or more of a dramatic conclusion. In other words the book kept me on my toes and I like that. It is more than worth the read.
The main characters were interesting and complex and the world of magic can be a universe within itself with other types of books in the future based on the same universe if the author would like to explore writing more books about it. The scenes involving Daniel and Faith's grandmother alone were well worth the read.

The writing had good technical merit, but I just didn’t connect to the story. Faith ran away with her boyfriend’s best friend and got married. Their marriage fell apart and she is back home licking her wounds. She is an artist and makes something out of everything. Her current project is making life-like snow figurines with her daughter. One of her ice figures stands out to her-the life-like snowman of a chiseled man. During snowball fight with her daughter the wind whispers a name, Remy, and she feels that she should name her snowman that. Then this is the part that gets weird, Remy the snowman comes alive and has “relations” with Faith but technically he is still in snowman form. Then her original boyfriend, Daniel, has stayed in the same town and comes by to check on her being a policeman and all. But he just can’t stay away and technically he is stalking her, but in a “good” way. Then to culminate this fantastical story her mother is a hoodoo priestess. Magic and reality come to head in a big showdown between the characters which one will come out on top?
Like I said Ms. Wright has good technical writing I just didn’t connect with the story. I couldn’t relate to Faith and her struggles with the world.

A Christmas story like no other!
Faith, a divorced artist/sculptor, created mermaids, elves, Santa, a hot sexy guy, among other things out of snow. Daniel, her childhood friend/high school sweetheart (also divorced and a cop in the small town where they reside) are thrust on a supernatural adventure that her mother conjured when they were teens .*Spoiler alert: Faith's snowman comes to life and blows her mind and blows her back out. 😏😳 Bring the snowman to life has unintended consequences that Daniel and Faith's mother must work together to undo. I laughed, cussed, laughed some more and did way too much yelling WTF because there were scenes that were absolutely batsh*t insane! Thankfully, there was an HEA, but not the one you'd initially think. 9/10 definitely recommend.

Confusing
I wanted to love this book, but it was not doing it for me at all. This storyline started good but the h/h and her mom, all the spirit world stuff...I wasn't feeling it. It was never made clear, the heroine seemed to be too clueless to have a mom like hers. Male lead seemed strong but was all wrapped into the voodoo blindly following...just wasn't jiving with this story. Just not my cup of tea and confused even in the end. Could have skipped this one and I usually vibe with K. Wright🤷🏾♀️

this was bad
Just so much to say about how bad it was..the grammar,spelling, the whole plot and back story just made no sense. And why was politics and police killing brought into an erotic Christmas story like huh? And then the hoodoo aspect didn’t work out in this story. And i thought the story was about the snowman and it really wasn’t about her love for the snowman like huh? Kenya wright used to be one of my favs but i don’t know what this is

This was different and awesome. I was so wrapped up in this story and came to the conclusion that dear ol mama Addie Mae needed to mind her business. 😂😂😂 like you caused EVERYTHING that happened. Smh lmaooo. I truly enjoyed all the elements this book displayed. Daniel you the Hero. Faith you still crazy and Brett you sorta still deserve that COLD 🥶 punch in the face. 😂😂 Bravo 🙌

Even her earlier works are dope!
Totally enjoyed this. Before what had or was really happening was revealed I was sure Faith would end up in the looney bin. And then we find out the how and who all was involved WHOA! Let's just hope the righting the wrong works out for GOOD this time.

Meh....
If you were going for excitement, you missed the mark. If you were going for boring....Bing Bing bing. I kept reading dairy for the edge of the seat excitement to come it never did. There were funny parts. That's why you got two stars. Was this a practice run?I was so bored with this book. At least it wasn't long and drawn out.

Too on the abstract for me
I usually enjoy Kenya Wright stories but this one was a little too abstract for me. The main characters’ thoughts were too scattered, disconnected and tangential. The weird reveal of a integral side character was unnecessarily fantastical. All in all, the book was a jumble of incoherent pieces; it felt almost stream of consciousness.

Christmas magic...
Or paranormal fantasy is the real question??? I read it from front to back and cover to cover and its still a mystery to me...it gives you everything you could want in a romance novel and more...what a roller coaster of a ride and you could figure out what happens after the end but not definitely still lots of questions

Mojo and Wishes lead to love

Amazing
I enjoyed this book. At first the snowman became alive had me going crazy. Then Daniel came and saved her life. The mother was crazy. I wish there were more to the story. I do not like the ending. Is there going to be a spin off?

I think weed is less looney
This book is a trip. At first I thought this was a gothic read with a smattering of humor but in the end, pure mysticism. Fantasy romance with wackiness. You will be surprised with the ending. But I am happy for the heroine and true hero.

The title intrigued me plus KW is an awesome writter
As much as I love KW books this one was lacking a little for me. The story had some editing issues and it needed to be developed more in some areas.
