Chunks: A Barfzarro Anthology

Rate this book
The authorized edition of Chunks: A Barfzarro Anthology, containing such deliciously indigestible horror/Bizarro stories as "Zita Anathema" by Karina Sims, "Rat Pudding" by James Ward Kirk, "Stalker" by Marie Victoria Robertson, "Pink Sock" by Bob Freville and many more. Designed for Mature Audiences 18+ only. These stories are disgusting, repulsive and extreme enough to produce the titular effect.

Ethically speaking, I wasn't sure if it would be cool for me to write a review of an anthology that I have a story in. However, after reading the book I feel even more excited to be a part of it than I did before I read the stories contained between it's covers and now I want to tell everyone about it. I feel so fortunate to share page-space with such wonderful, talented writers! If you don't know, this book was designed to celebrate the divine within the grotesque and the beauty found within the decay and the absurd and surreal that lurks beneath the everyday. There's psycho-spiritual-surrealism with Tom Lucas' mind-bending "Jibber's Biscuits", body Horror revenge in Delphine Quinn's emotionally wrenching "Best Served Cold", and good ole' fashioned gross-out, chunk-blowing Horror in "Soup of the Day" by Cory Cline. These gems and much, much more await you if you will only dare to step off that ledge and plunge into the murky stew of wonders that is Chunks. I had so much fun reading these tales and I am so, so thankful to be able to call these fantastic writers my peers.
