The Minna no Nihongo series is one of the best and widely used textbook out there for learning Japanese. It is for those wanting to learn much more than just conversational Japanese for tourists. It is not quite beginner friendly, but it is the go-to textbook for those wanting to learn Japanese for taking the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). The textbook is split into multiple lessons, each featuring a daily situation with a dialogue encompassing most of the vocabulary in the lesson. I like how detailed it is, as well as the way they have practice questions with multiple formats for you to get used to using the new vocabulary. I already went through the curriculum in this book before when I took Japanese Language classes during my undergraduate study, but using the English version. This version is in Taiwanese Mandarin, which is cheaper than the English translations. I had used this one for revisions. As this is a new version, it also has a few extra terms.
