Starfish Movement: Unleashing The Unstoppable Mission Of Jesus
Dan Grider co-authored the best selling book "The God Questions". This book the "Starfish Movement" will show you how to fully engage with the original Movement that Jesus launched. You’ll discover what it looks like to engage in launching a movement. Whether you are a leader or a new Christ follower.
Most of us have read about the movement that Jesus launched. We just don’t know how to continue what he began, other than to imitate the American church model. What if we discovered how to fully participate in the movement that Jesus originally intended?
This movement was designed to include, engage and inspire. However, somewhere along the way, Christian leaders began imitating the leaders who went before them instead of imitating Jesus. They became immeshed in church programs and issues of Christian subculture. As a result, most never experienced the power of the unstoppable mission of Jesus.
Starfish
Is an important resource for anyone involved with or thinking of how to reset their church/Christian life.
Addresses practical issues and give a clear step by step process for how to engage with the unstoppable mission of Jesus.
Written by an experienced leader who has been launching starfish movements for over 25 years as a leader, church planter and practitioner.

Thought Provoking But Lacking
The book echoes many of the principles described and systematized by Dann Spader in 4 Chair Discipling. The most helpful part of the book was the simple 5 step process. I found myself wanting the author to unpack the essentials of a kingdom worldview.

Eye Opening
It is encouraging to know that making disciples is not a complicated thing. Jesus intended His movement to be simple. Dan lays out the process of making disciples easy so that the church will continue to grow.

Enjoyable and educational. I tend to shy away from any new Christian “movements” but this was very insightful and sweet. I appreciate Grider’s keen insights of human hearts and emphasis of Scripture. Good read for followers of Jesus Christ that desire to make an impact in their community.

We used this book for a men’s group. It really would have benefitted from an editor/publisher scouring the pages to clean up all the typos and unfinished thoughts.
Great idea, less than acceptable execution

Like many of these types of books, the style is annoyingly repetitive but the ideas here are great!
