Diane McCallum was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and now lives in southeast Kansas with her husband, a university professor. She published her first novel, Outsider, in January 2013 and her second novel, Another Shot, in December 2013. Her third novel, In The Shadows, came out in 2015. Outsider is a fast-paced, imaginative sci-fi adventure filled with mystery, tension, and heart. Sean Foster is a compelling protagonist flawed, brave, and caught in a situation far beyond his control. The blend of survival, conspiracy, and moral questions about freedom and fate makes this story stand out. Fans of space thrillers and character-driven science fiction will be hooked from the first page.
