I have always loved to read and had a passion for storytelling! With so many literary influences, after playing with characters for a while I finally released my debut novel The Circle in December of 2016!!! (It's still so exciting) I took some time away from reading while working on my book so that I could write from my true voice and not be influenced, but now I am looking to connect with other book lovers and read some amazing books!

In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my children: Ryleigh and Robbie, as well as my husband Robert. If I'm not curled up with a good book, I'm rooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder!

Mrs. Thompson girl you didn't have to do us like this. I'm ready for the sequel NOW ma'am. The emotional rollercoaster that this book took me on and I held on the ENTIRE time. This is definitely a book that is a must read. I literally had this book with me EVERYWHERE, in bed, in the shower, at work, in the car at red lights. The stories that were created for each character were relatable and I have a little bit of me in each one of them. What initially caught my attention was the artwork of thebook. This is a book that will be resting on my coffee table. I would truly appreciate if I would be ONE of the first to know when the next book comes out kmsl

Reminds me of the friendships I have...

Overall I enjoyed the true friendship displayed and the realness when it came to each of the Women's situations. There were a few spelling errors but other than that it was definitely worth my time. Looking forward to more from this Author.

Let me start by saying I LOVE the cover, it's different and simple...

The Circle is a story about a group of ladies - Robin, Chantal, Natalie, Rashida, Patrice, and Keisha. These ladies primary source of communication is through an email group chat where every and anything is discussed. Friendship, love, drugs, rape, and scandals are just some of the things these ladies go through in this story. These ladies support one another thru the ups and downs and even though they may not always agree on everything you can always count on them when it counts. There is definitely a good amount of drama in this story and the ladies and their issues you can relate to.

The story seemed rushed and with a number of characters and storylines, I would have liked for the story to be more complex and detailed. There were some typos and the ending was unsettled. With all the things these ladies went through, it would be nice to get closure on all the characters and their situations. Overall good read.

Fun read full of feels!

Let's get my grammatical pet peeve out of the way: every time age said "Bobby and I" it should have been Bobby and ME.

whew, now that THAT is off my chest, I loved SO many things about this book. Flawed characters that you love even when they do something you disagree with. Others whom you dislike regardless of them doing something nice. Situations you've been through and relate to, and others you've never experienced but with emotions described so well that they mirror what you think you would feel if it happened to you... The author truly made you a member of the circle! Sequel, spinoff, series, I'm here for it! I love that it reads like a journal that reminds you of why you love your friends, warts and all.

Looking forward to reading more by Ronyea, and WILL get over the grammatical error that makes my English teacher and me cringe... :)

Circle of friends

I picked this book up based on the cover and the synopsis and I must say it was well worth reading. I enjoyed how the author gave each character a storyline that was based on reality and real life issues. I also like how the women in the group had each other back and was able to work thru any problem that they faced they had a sisterhood that lets people understand that we as women can uplift and encourage each other without tearing us down and belittling one another. I highly recommend this book to any women that wants to see how friendship can survive any storm that is thrown at them.

Old friends are Good Friends!

How many of us share a bond with several people at one time? It's hard enough being a friend to one person let alone give or six and all of the same gender. These women have managed to maintain friendships even with all the different personalities, emotions, looks, shapes and sizes. They've even managed to include significant others, family members and co workers in their unique bond. As they navigate their way through everyday life we learn to love their journey from the beginning to the end. The Circle!

Of you need a good corticosteroids Drama ... This is your book.

Now I like a good book: Drama, Plot Twist, Climax, the secrets. This book contained it all. A quick read that will have you evaluating this close group of girlfriends as wondering, " if this was me in this situation now would I handle all.of this? "

if you have time check this book out ,a quick read that will not disappoint.😎

Great reminder of the need for good sister friends

I like the stories about the different women in the Circle. They were easy to relate to, as I could see characteristics of myself and my friends in the characters. Nice distraction, easy read while quarantined. The only minor issue is there were a few typos and incorrect usage of words but you could understand from the context. I really loved the overall sisterhood of the Circle!

Awesome Book!

I really enjoyed reading this book. The circle was of a group of amazing friends. Through good, bad and ugly they still remained true to their friendship. The ending was a bit sad but everyone still changed in a positive way. This is my first book from this author. Can't wait to read more.

Every girl needs a Circle of friends!

Quick and easy read. Relationships can be hard but no one should do life alone. Six amazing woman (six different stories) doing life together. At times they can be critical of one another but quickly allowed themselves to see things differently.

Good read

Despite all Natalie had been through she was still positive. These women were something special. Some things were predictable some were not. I loved the drama. This book was also over the place. Some things in the story were just thrown into a scene or thought of by the characters. Maybe a part two is coming.

This was awesome

First let me say that I absolutely loved these ladies. What I really love was that I could relate to Natalie and John's story, I lost my dad to skin cancer last year and surprisingly his name was John also. This story was really really good and the things that happened in this book really do happen in real life. I hope to read more from you!!👍👍👍👍👍

A good read

I enjoyed reading it, it was definitely full of page turning drama. It kept me engaged. The only thing I was fond of was that the women had all the issues and guys had little to none. To me it didn’t feel equal, just my thoughts but read to the end and would recommend it to others.

Good entertainment

This book was good. It kinda felt like you were getting caught up on the lives of old girlfriends. The craziness, the bullcrap we often find ourselves in because of men and the choices we make. But it also touched on the relationships within marriage and how nothing is perfect unless you keep working at it. Overall pretty good and definitely a fast read.

Girlfriends United

I really enjoyed this book because it highlighted black women supporting each other through all their trials of life. No matter what, they still remained friends through the good and bad times. They didn’t always agree, but put their differences aside to support each other. This book was so easy to read and I couldn’t put it down.

It's a no for me

The storyline was a bit unrealistic. Who uses an email group in this day and age?

The content seemed a bit rushed seemingly adding elements for shock factor but falling short. I couldn't get into this writing at all, the plot was too predictable.

I didn't enjoy this book at all!

So much drama....

The book is ok and if you live for drama you'll find plenty of it. I think every woman should have a circle of friends who have your back like the women in this book. They are definitely there for each other through the good and the bad. I would recommend this book to any woman who needs that.

Friends Can't be found everywhere

I liked the story because it reminded me of my friends when we finished college. There was one of all the characters in our group. I would recommend this book to my granddaughters and it may make them understand everyone is not your friend. A true friend will ride or die with you even if they don't agree.

Nothing better than the circle of friends.

How refreshing to share life’s ups and downs with a circle of friends who love unconditionally! This read had me experiencing “all the feels!” I couldn’t decide who my favorite circle sister was because they all were likable despite their flaws. I finished this read in two days…yeah, it was good!

The Sister Circle

I loved this book, it sparked so many different emotions. It was written like a screenplay for a soap opera. I have 9 sisters and this book resembles our relationship minus the sibling rivalry. It was well detailed and evoked my imagination. It was definitely a good read..

Drama Plus

Friendship, secrets, are th common bond in true story , however it's to over the top. As BFFs they only seem to contact each other in a crisis. Ending was unsettled, not to mention so many issues in the story were just dropped.

Ain't nothing like a circle

I enjoyed this book so much I didn't want to put it down. I read it in 3 days. Without giving details I wish some relationships would have turned out differently. Would love to have a circle of lady friends I could trust. Even if it's a small circle.
