Debra Gordon Zaslow is a professional storyteller turned author. Her life changed forever in 1996 when she brought her 103 year-old grandmother home to live with her family. Wanting to write about that experience sent her to an MFA is writing program (Vermont College of fine Arts) and eventually to writing Bringing Bubbe Home, a Memoir of Letting Go Through Love and Death https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... She lives in Ashland, Oregon where she teaches storytelling at Southern Oregon University, and travels nationwide performing storytelling programs and teaching memoir-writing workshops. She's married to Rabbi David Zaslow, and they have the cutest grandchild in the world.
