Rintaro declares that he's going to become one of the Dragons of Nangokuren High School, and to gain support he's running for student council president! His opponent isn't to be underestimated, however. Blond beauty Emma is practically treated like an idol, and her popularity might prove too big a hurdle for Rintaro!
Eh, I'm not really digging this scene. Fight after fight after fight, all with ridiculously over-powered people, using ridiculously named & styled moves. Basically DBZ but with high school gals. I'm glad I only have through volume 9, as I don't think I can take much more of these absurd inanities. If there was more "meat" to the story, with some plot & character development between fights, it might be more palatable to my tastes. Basically every non-fighting scene is just a quick lead-up to a new character & a huge fight, over some trivial matter. So, yeah, not really my thing. I lost interest in shonen manga like 15 years ago. Art, fairly good, but a lot of it basically is blurred to "enhance" the fight moves. Dialogue, paltry, weak, idiotic. Just silly, really. Characters, annoying, outlandish, broguish, pedantic, & juvenile.
How does one become a Dragon? It's simple you have followers but how does one do that when they only talk to a select few?
Our boy is at it again, this time he's taking on the cover girl to become class president, that way he will have followers to become a dragon. Does it make sense because Dragons are the strongest in the school? No but it's a lot of fun.
This sets up the finally of the series, as I've already read them it doesn't quite live up the the grand scale it sets up.
