In and Out

Rate this book
Melvin never wanted anything but to be left alone. His loved ones gone, his career now over, he's satisfied enough living a quiet life in a small mountain town. That is until a mysterious package arrives on his doorstep, one containing a device that can take anything it's pointed at in and out of existence.

Now Melvin's life is more complicated than it's ever been. Now he must decide what to do with this thing that could change the face of his town—and maybe even the world.

Melvin is an old retired business man who isn't very fond of modern youth and their manners. Then a parcel is delivered to his home containing a mysterious machine that has an In and an Out button. What can this machine be used for? Melvin gives it a try... but what about that black goo? I really like the idea behind the story. It reads like an unseen episode of Twilight Zone, is very eerie and compelling. Besides it's a satire on modern youth, moral decline and vandalism in our towns. Recommended!

In and Out written by Kenneth Buff is a short story that has a very "Twilight Zone" or "The Outer Limits" kind of feel to it. It has a fun plot that draws you in. Melvin is an interesting character. He has his heart in the right spot when he tries to figure out what to do with what was in the package he received. This book has an unexpected ending which is refreshing to read. Kenneth Buff knows how to write a story and is an expert writer in my eyes

I have now read quite a few books from this author and always enjoy his work. His books are always a tad different than the main stream paranormal. I will look for more of his books in the future.

I have received this book from the author for an honest review. (LoP, Lovers of Paranormal)
