I understand this is a beginners book but I would not recommend to a beginner as the terminology is wrong in parts, facts are wrong, comments about commands are either incorrect or in the wrong context. If you use this book you will have to unlearn some of the details before you can progress. There are no examples. Just general vague comments about commands and tools which suggests the author has read some book, miss understood it and tried to summarize. Working in IT as I do though it was a good laugh and after initial “what a waste of money” started to make me laugh.
