In GHOST WRITER, Chanel Smith's seventh installment in the Ghost Files series, Ellen’s friend and neighbor, Diana, reports hearing noises in her apartment from a possible intruder, but no one has broken in. The police are stumped. Ellen senses that Diana, a single mom, may be experiencing paranormal activity. Upon investigation, It seems that an old manual typewriter—typing by itself—is being operated by a ghostly writer who has a message for Diana. But it’s not just a message from the past. It’s a message from her own past.
Ghost Writer by Chanel Smith is another ghost story but I didn't like it as well as her others. It was still worth the read and it was cute and heartwarming but just not as good as others I have read of hers.
Another ghostly adventure with Ellen. This is a story about when she first started recognizing her own power. She had a neighbor who had a haunting in her apartment. The neighbor was frightened for herself and her son. The ghost happened to be the woman's grandfather. When she realized that he didn't mean any harm to either of them, she looked for the message he was sending her. Her grandfather was an author and she always wanted to follow in his footsteps. Now he is showing her the way if she will only pay attention.
most of Smith's books have angry spirits and they need help going to the light. in this book it's about love and about a spirit helping the living get her confidence back. that is what I like the most
