This is the author's third novel but for me, it's her first book I have read.
It is a story of four avid youngsters intertwines with each other. Amaira, carefree, self-assured and a very strong character in this book. Kabir who enjoys attention, politically ambitious, elder brother of Amaira. Kushank, a shining businessman but weak-kneed. Suhani sings beautifully but introvert and faint-hearted.

The story begins with Mrs. Khanna, sole trustee of SVS Medical College, who had decided to retire and transfer the responsibility of college and hospital to her younger son, Kushank. He was fond of business and management & run an IT company in Delhi and doesn't want to take this responsibility. Amaira got admission to SVS to come to Bhopal and deals with a lot of ups and downs in her college life whereas Kabeer indulges in college politics and stealing all the limelight. Exams were not his cup of tea. Kabeer meets Suhani and falls for her; Suhani, being an obedient child of his family start searching for the purpose of her life with the help of Kabeer. This is a family-oriented story where Amaira and Kabeer's parents made them bold and independent and Kushank or Suhani's parents never understand what their children truly desire.

All the characters were portrayed very well. They all have problems in their life but sooner or later with the help of each other they overcome and excel in their fields. Every girl wants to become like Amaira, the way she handles the college situation was splendid and the relationship of Amaira with Kabeer was little messy while Kabeer becomes the strength of Suhani in a very short time.

They all have their adventures which are well written. The author is from my city Indore so I was really excited to read this novel and one can easily connect with any of these characters but I don't like the ending too much. There are so many unanswered questions that left me thinking about the characters or maybe the author was planning for a sequel but it's quite disappointing. I would recommend this book to only those who like a slow pacy storyline.

Life is a celebration of life itself. Only few knew how to make it worth living. Most of the years of life we conjure the rules laid by others for us; do this; don’t do that; forbidden this and blah blah. Only few listen the voice of life, a whisper in ear.

Amaira Roy is a carefree or careless, fearless or good in hiding it, or you can call her someone who does not give a damn to the world or any other word from the dictionary of the world which could define her free soul. Amaira is just like any other girl who live, dream, care, love but only thing which make her Amaira is; she celebrate life every day in every moment of it. She has her own hardships of life but she never let those stop her in living life on her terms. Her biggest support system is her brother Kabir; who wants to be a politician but with fair means.

It is not a love story where two people met, fall in love, and fight over petty things and at last united. It is journey of a girl; which once was a dream became sole aim of her life. It’s a lovely story of a girl who is honest towards her life. She is a power house of energy and excitement with a pinch of notoriety. A simple yet elegant story of a girl, her dreams, her love and her far-out way of living life with her own set of rules.

Kabir’s looks, Kabir’s brain, and Kabir’s maturity—I wish I had a man like him in my life. He is a smart wanna be politician with his ethics in place. His life teaches most of us that being grounded is so important. I loved Suhani as well. I wish she was more confident, but I loved that she was given that chance to find herself by the writer.

HIT or MISS - this one was a MISS

I just finished this book and I believe it was a good plot.. but the narration was pretty bad and felt incompleted. And the character development was zero and it's just a half written book.
I didn't like it at all.

Someone suggested this book to me & since I was travelling I thought a light Indie book would be good to go. What stuck in my mind once I flashed through it is an earnest love story which forms the crux of the storyline. The narration involving the DU campus is fun to read. The story revolves around four main characters, namely Kabir, Suhani, Amaira and Kushank. Kabir's character is very affable.

The book is at best a fleeting read , the writer I believe has brought out her own experiences too in certain scenes which is quite palpable. Well to be honest I didn't expect Ayn Rand when I started reading the book either so its a win - win situation. The language is simple & understandable , no usage of tough or over the top epithets can be found. All in all a good read.

I'd give it 3/5 stars because I have read Devanshi's other books too & I truly believe the best is yet to come.

First Impression:
With an ordinary book cover but with a catchy blurb, this book doesn’t impress me in the first attempt. But, you can’t judge a book by its cover.

Review:
‘No Matter What I Do’ is the first novel of Devanshi Sharma. It’s a story of four different people who are interlinked or bound to each other by the emotions of love and friendship. Four of them are very different in nature but still, there is something which sticks them to each other’s life. Where Amaira is a free soul and highly confident girl, Kushank is a brilliant businessman but has a lack of self-confidence. Kabir is highly passionate about politics but Suhani is very shy and scared. The story revolves around these four and takes twists and turns.

When we read books, we fall in love with characters. In this book, there wasn’t one character but 4 different and completely varied characters who you would admire. Best I felt was Kabir and his charisma, His charm is something any one would admire. And handling a sister like Amaira is as difficult as handling a nasty kid. I loved the bond that these brother-sister share!

No Matter What I Do;I End Up Falling For You By Devanshi Sharma
This story is set in Bhopal where the sole trustee of the SVS group of medical institutions, Mrs Suhasini khanna wants to resign and opts to give her power to her younger son Kushank, who doesn't have any knowledge of medicine. He is fond of business and marketing but his mother's trust in him, compelled him to take the responsibility. However, he is an under confident guy who avoids leadership. Other hand, Amaira Roy belongs to Delhi where she lives with her elder brother Kabir Roy. She wants to be a doctor and she got admission in SVS college. She is totally opposite of Kushank in conduct. She is a carefree, young, rebellious, beautiful girl who loves to play football on rainy nights on the road. Their first interaction was an awkward one but gradually they became friends. But Kushank always thinks about the SVS before him and this creates chaos in their friendship and life.

While on the other hand in Delhi one more love story of Kabir and Suhani is gradually growing. They both seem like carbon copies of Amaira and Kushank in personality. However their dreams and situation are different. Kabir is an intelligent nerd who turns into a politician. He is a nice president of his college union. He loves to be in limelight. Suhani enters in his life who belongs to a orthodox middle class family who don't leave a single chance to suppress and humiliate her about her decision to follow her dreams and study. She is a great singer but her upbringings make her personality a pry of dependence.

Review

This is my first book from this author. I heard a lot about this young author who is writing one after another romance book in her younger age. Which inspires and influences me to pick a book of her to read. However, I like the catchy title and the fascinating cover which don't have any connection with the storyline of the book. Quotes are amazing and inspiring, even the narration is a bit interesting but the story presentation is so poor. Character development and story development is so slow paced. Amaira is the only character with whom I felt a bit of connection and who looks promising in the story. Just b'coz of it I read this book till the end but all I gained was disappointment. This story has no end, it seems like the author is in a hurry to complete the book and she gave a half developed story to print. This story has no end. Even those who planned a sequel for the story have a satisfying and rational end. If the author of this story is planning to make a sequel, I'm not gonna read that.

I picked this book after reading some top reviews and I am glad to say that my money is spend worth while. I don't exactly know what stuck my mind with the story but frankly, I think it was Suhani and Kabir's love story. The story was around four main characters, namely Kabir, Suhani, Amaira and Kushank. I loved Kabir's character the most. And especially the scene where Suhani is seen taking a stand for herself even after so much suppression.

I loved how Kabir turned out to be one person who stood by her, giving her all freedom to find herself and then achieve what she wants, not by simply being a hero, but by asking her to find ways for herself and letting her find her dreams! I am glad i picked this novel and I am thankful to the author to share such amazing stories!

What really a book tries to do is to make its readers get into the story of which the author is trying to narrate and flow with the story. the story of Kabir being interested into politics to falling in love with the girl is first met " pehli nezar mai pyar" to suhani being a silent person getting to Kabir via a metro and later falling in love with him. I was ingrosed in the stroy such that I didn't want their story to end but alas every book has a ending and hence this story also ended with a good note.

The novel is full of inspiration. I strongly feel that author has written with the best amount of motivation and interest. I loved the way author shaped the characters. Being an avid reader and writer, I believe it must have taken author immense hard work for the characterisation.

Such a lovable book it was. All the characters and story line is superb.A beautiful story of 4 lives somehow connected to each other.

I would like to congratulate the author for narrating this story in such a beautiful way that I was unable to leave the book as the story keep going in my mind.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strengthwhile loving someone deeply gives you courage.” “There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.” “The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved; loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves.”

Title- No matter what i do, i end up falling for you.

Author — Devanshi sharma

No matter what I do I am day falling for you is a story of four characters on a path achieve their own goals in their own ways. The story revolves around these four characters, Amaira Kabir, Kushank, Suhani.

Amaira is a girl who enjoys her life to the fullest. she is a free soul and a confident girl. She can’t tolerate wrong.

Kushank is a brilliant boy a businessman but underconfident. I found a motivation and his love in Amaira.

KABIR, amaira’s brother and a best friend too. He is a intelligent boy and highly passionate about politics. On the other hand Suhani Shabir girlfriend is very shy and scared. She belongs to the orthodox family.

Amaira is the character who attracts you and suhani’s character motivates you somewhere. But I felt after reading the whole book there is incompleteness in the story, I think there should be written more about Kushank and Amaira. Overall a great book. Must read.

What was the book about exactly????? Being Incomplete would be my guess.

As far as I am concerned Indian Writers have a real simple formula....girl guy some crappy incident to make them meet and then more crap about them not being able to express.....but this book didn't even match up to that.

Sheer disappointment, It seems like the author wasn't even sure whose story she was exactly planning to write....she started writing about too many people and just stopped when she felt she was bored. But what she didn't realize was that boredom was being eventually going to be transferred to the readers too.....the book was nothing more to me than a jumbo mumbo about various characters who the writer could not finally bring together.

I have been told to have super high expectations but I am a reader and I deserve to get the worth of time and money...this book was a super waste of both.

Get your thoughts together dear author......maybe your plan was to write a sequel or something but honestly, it seems like you just have a super supportive and amazing publisher who just printed
without even realizing that this book is in no way complete or worthy of being published.

Please tell me one Indian writer who has nothing to do with university love and shit related to that....stop trying to be Chetan Bhagat people....he's not that amazing as well. He was a phase and its over.

First of all, there will definitely be few angry faces and curses at me for giving a 3 star rating to this novel. But, folks stick with me and I will try to convince exactly why.

Let's look at the good points first:
1. The simple language made it a very quick read
2. Kudos Devanshi. This is too unbelievable to be an author's first novel

Now, let's see why it deserved the rating, it did:
1. The title of the book is not apt.
2. The concept of love is lost. In fact, there wasn't one. I say, its a disaster for authors to write about love, if they haven't fallen in it. I know, I sound rude, but can you make a blind man understand light?
3. Suhani, the character was not developed to the extent that it deserved.
4. The God POV has a terrible disadvantage i.e., you can't really put yourselves in the protagonist's shoes and feel things like he/she does. I had serious problems imagining the scenes myself. Trust me, I tried pretty hard
5. Once a metaphor is spoken, it's up to the reader to comprehend it. So, what to do?: Write a metaphor and stop explaining/ just quit using metaphors.
6. I seriously didn't like the plot. I expected much more towards the end

The book for me was not up to the mark no doubt the writing style description was good but what makes a book , book is The story and honestly that was a total let down no plot or character development or a story worth reading.
For me the character of Amaira was over emphasized and i think it was a longing wish or role model of the author but as a reader she seems very irritating and unlikeable to me. The Author litreally describes Amaira as God or a perfect person
Kushank was unimportant and a character not required at all.
Kabir and Suhani love story was confusing and unnecessary.
There were many errors too like the mismatch of Dates make it very confusing also placing any incidence anywhere makes reader feel offtrack.
Overall dont invest your time reading this book cause it will be a waste of time.....

The book seriously show the things occuring and changing in every bits and pieces...
I rated it four star for its motivating attitude of characters and independent nature of characters and moments of self believe...
I dislike the fastness and abrupt end as didn't shown what happened of the case, that a businessman filed against hospital...
And not a place for advancement in a story

It's a light and good read.

Though it is the book who took longest time for me to reach to an end, for so many so-called reasons. But one thing I would like to say to readers as and when you reach to the end, there will be a new start you will see. Light but good read.

Simple story.....told in non-linear narrative plus from the author's perspective since the four characters, Amaira, Kushank, Kabir and Suhani are her friends in real life so this plot is more like a real life account or perspective of the author......

Rare are those authors who choose to write different genres combined and carry it really well, and very few are those who choose different emotions too to put into the book along with different genres, chances are that the author might just not able to live upto all the genres at once, but Vadhan turned out to be an exception and he just not only justified the genres perfectly but made it a perfect page turner by just researching it aptly and writing it amazingly. I loved the way it has been penned down, the way all the characters has been written, the way it has been presented it simply good. Many readers might not like the way the middle part as it is a lil boring but the way the author has penned down the ending makes it up for the flaws. I would not like to spill the beans by jotting down all the spoilers here, its upto you to read and unveil it! I would just look upto to his second book, he has surely set a benchmark by writing such a fantastic debut book, and now many like me would be expecting something out of the box from his second book.
Well this is a book which shouldn't be missed!

The novel is the best one from Devanshi Sharma’s authorial (So far). The narration was lucid, a few pages into the novel will compel you to read the book in one stretch. The love between Kabir and Suhani was the pinnacle of the novel. One would admire Kabir for his care towards his sibling and love on Suhani.

Brilliantly written book, with equal amount of love and dream. Like Amaira, even I believe that life should be lived happily, unlike worrying about small things. I want to read more books like this. I think Kabir is one of the best characters I read.
