There were a couple of clever turns of phrase and situations that I could appreciate, as the reader and secondary audience to this book. The primary audience, my almost 4 year old daughter, was VERY into it. She renamed her favorite stuffed unicorn after one of the seven unicorn princesses in the book.

This wasn't my favorite in the series story-wise. The problem solving wasn't as clever and it wasn't as well written as the first two books. However, I appreciated the continuation of modeling high moral behavior. I also enjoy that the authoress uses unique animal choices in her writing - like lemmings and quail.

It was nice of Cressida to try to make sure Blooms ball was not ruined by making all the unicorn who were Prism,Flash,Sunbeam,Firefly,Breeze and Moon make a suprise party for her.

Partway through this with my kids. So far this is the most interesting one of the series to me, because the highly distractable Bloom, who starts things at the last minute, appears to have ADHD.

Buku ketiga ini bercerita tentang pesta ulang tahun Bloom. Walau merupakan buku ketiga, saya ga kesulitan baca; palingan penasaran sama kisah pertemuan awal Cresida si anak manusia dan para unicorn, hehe
Di buku ini, banyak disebutkan tentang nama buah di negeri unicorn plus deskripsinya; misalnya froyanana itu buah yang bentuknya seperti xxx dengan warna yyy sampai deskripsi rasa karena Cresida sempat mencicipi dua jenis buah di buku ini. Menyenangkan rasanya bisa membayangkan buah ajaib beserta rasanya yang unik (perpaduan antara acar, marshmellow, dkk... erl... kok saya jadi bergidik yah, hahaha)

This was such a cute book. I loved how this one had a disaster that couldn’t be fixed, but everything still ended up being okay. I think it’s important for kids to know that sometimes things can’t be fixed and/or we make mistakes, and that’s okay. My 4 year old loves this series!
