We’re more than a studio, we’re a family of talented developers who are committed to making awesome experiences for our fans. To achieve that, it certainly takes a diverse team, which is why we’re home to everything from artists, engineers, designers, administrators, and inventors – but more than that, these same people are parents, pilots, painters – they’re activists, cyclists and collectors – their personal and domestic passions are as much a part of what makes this studio tick, as any detail on a resume. So those passions are woven into our social tapestry too, in our softball team, in our cook-offs, in our board game marathons, in our hiking and biking adventures -- and much, much more.

This book is in the spirit of the Star Wars "Incredible Cross-Sections" books, but it focuses just on the starships and small craft of the Halo universe.

There is some sparse information on the history of the universe and some of the more important planets, but this could have used some expansion and included synopses of the games. The first one came out in 2001 and even though I played several of them, I had to go look up wiki articles to refresh my memory so I would have adequate context to appreciate the contents of this book.

The majority of the book can be divided into three sections. The first, and largest, covers the ships of the UNSC. The second one the ships of the Covenant, and its successors. The third, and smallest, covers the ships of the Forerunners. All three give special attention to the named ships featured in the games. Those ships get the cross-section treatment, while the rest get simple and clear CGI models. Those CGI models are fine, but it would have been nice to have supplemented them with more art showing the ships in universe.

Overall, I enjoyed this book despite the issues, and I think most fans of the Halo universe will enjoy it too.

Aside from reading and cooking, I am a gamer. I am so old, that I remember “Pong”. I also remember Halo when it was on the original XBOX. Now, there have been several sequels and expansions to the original, and the graphics have been give a next generation update.

Halo Warfleet is the book that Halo fans will enjoy over and over. It is 90 pages of illustrations and information on the warships and vehicles that make up the Halo universe. The illustrations by Hans Jenssen and John R Mullaney jump off of the page and several are ten of which are intricately depicted cross-sections of the Halo Universes’ well-known ships including Pillar of Autumn, Truth and Reconciliation, Infinity, and Shadow of Intent. The UNSC, Covenant, and Forerunner ships and weapons are all represented here.

You do not have to be a fan of Halo to appreciate the artwork and intricacy represented here. If you are a fan of the franchise, then this book is a must read/must own for you!

A nicely illustrated book featuring the various classes of spaceships in the Halo universe. Just enough background information to give the ships context. The biggest downside is that once again the designers have put most of the pictures across two pages, so that information is lost in the gutter between pages. Looks good on a monitor, not so much in physical form.

It’s oversized, though, so that’s a bonus. Here it is with a Chihuahua for scale.

A brilliantly illustrated book. Perfectly blends together all the disparate Halo lore on ships and the different designs across all the games and media into something more coherent. I highly recommend it for any fan.

Average...

While the premise of the book was good, of course, it's execution left me a bit flat.

Totally Epic

what an amazing book, as soon as i heard this book was coming out out could not wait. This book is totally amazing with full pages of in-depth Ships of Human, Covenant and Forerunner. it even shows you what the planets look like with a brief description.

This book is like having a Car Manual but for the different types of ships with extensive details on them.

for example this book has "The Pillar or Autumn, In Amber Clad, Infinity and Spirit Of Fire for Human, Shadow of Intent, High Charity, Truth and Reconciliation for Covenant, Dragoons, Dreadnoughts, Phaeton, Keyships, Mantel's Approach and Guardians (Peacekeepers) for Forerunners.

This book is highly recommended for any Halo fan and any Sci Fi fan.

Totally amazing and i was blown out of my mind.
