Gay Menage at it's best...
And the two cops keep their uniforms on when they get down and dirty...Dear God,I had such a HOT mental image going on!!

Well,hello boys....
I do love a gay menage and this certainly delivered.

Mason is a bartender with aspirations of something more.He is struggling to get funds to go back to school after his family pulled their monatary support until he gets over his 'gay phase'.
He's a bit of a sexy nerd. His idea of a good night is watching Scifi.....adorable!!

Gray and Jack are cops....in a relationship but not openly out. They start coming into the bar Mason works in and he is fascinated by them. The more he observes them, the more he realizes they are together but that doesn't stop him having dirty dreams about them.
He starts to wonder if they're flirting with him when one night his dreams come true when they ask him out.

Yes,they want him as their third and holy hell...bring on the hottness!!

There is role playing with the whole 'yes, arrest me officer...I've been bad' thing going on.Yes I know it sounds a bit cheesy but it was totally hot and, like I said, they keep their uniforms on in some scenes. It was straight out of a gay porn film ( not that I would know of course. *coughs*)

Aside from the sex there's a side story going on and the men do develop strong feelings for each other.
I think there are 3 books in the series but this can definitely be a standalone.

Definitely recommended if you're into hot M/M/M action..

Two hot cops and a nerd… should be a winner for me?!?

 photo 5f81c1e2-23c7-4eb2-9814-05a6f873493d.jpg

Firstly I have to say, that cover is just awful and I am glad the images in my head were not of the cover models!

Mason is a Star Trek geek and a bit of a nerd, after being disowned by his family for being gay, something they thought of as a phase and an inconvenience, he was forced to work in a bar, his priority in life was to go back to college, get his degree in chemistry and move onto grad school.

Mason had never been good with relationships and hitting the club scene or anonymous sex had no appeal to him whatsoever. He was shy and a bit of a loner, not particularly forthcoming, so when two gorgeous cops come into the bar asking questions about a recent speight of robberies in the area,  his mind was more interested in the hot cops and working overtime with every sexual fantasy with them in the starring role flashing through his mind, than concentrating on answering their questions.

Jack and Gray, lived and worked together and being cops were cautious about revealing their relationship not because they were embarrassed but because of the problems it would cause them in their working lives. Both men are attracted to Mason and they want him, but Mason has reservations, he had previously been  burned in a threesome which had ended badly but he just cannot get the lustful intentions out of his head.

Jack and Gray take matters into their own hands as Mason is never going to make the first move, and these three men together were smouldering, and Mason was overwhelmed by his emotions, the sensual pleasure and sexual tension was all encompassing, he could barely breath with the intensity of it all and Jack and Gray just consumed him. He shared something with them he had never before experienced a sense of freedom and belonging, he felt cherished but his longing for more seemed futile. Mason could see in their eyes the obvious love they had for each other something he had never had from anyone and Mason had fallen hook line and sinker, he was head over heels in love and scared senseless, he feels like the interloper and they couldn't possibly feel the same way, after all they were a couple!?!

This book kept me turning the pages and the sex between these three was definitely cold shower material! The plot was thin on the ground and predictable, no great shakes there. The characters I found a bit one dimensional, maybe because we only had Masons POV so we never get an insight into the minds of Gray and Jack, only Masons observations and for me it was hard to distinguish between the two of them which effected the dynamics of the threesome. Gray was the Dom but sometimes needed to be a sub, Jack a switch but seemed more Dom material to me and Mason, well, he is definitely a sub! We also go down the lack of communication route, tortured soul, lost loves, heartbreak and desolation with the sweet times occasionally bordering on sickly for my tastes.

Over all this was an easy read with some fabulous sex scenes but not too much else to grab my attention I liked it but didn’t love it. The BDSM is not hard core just a bit of tying up and spanking so if you need an easy titillating read then this is perfect.

3.4 Stars - super sweet and pretty filthy - an excellent beginner's book for a 'virgin' in the ménage field

I just read my first romance (...gay or a hetro mix) about a relationship with three naked bodies crammed in one bed. I choosed my first attempt into this new area to be with three men in a M/M/M romance.
‘If the two men had told him to drop his pants and bend over the bar, he truly might have done it, which unnerved him. While he'd his share of hook-up sex with no names exchanged, he wasn't usually quite so slutty.’

Fitting In (good title - it tells you all..) is very sweet and cute about two tough uniformed cops, Gray and Jack, who finds a third willing sexual partner in a very cute bartender named Mason. They take tiny steps before gently and slowly inviting Mason to share their fantasies about jostling and tumbling around in their bed all three. It's crowded, dirty and lots of sex but it is also very romantic and tender.
 photo image_zps80e0d0f5.jpg

Everything is told through Mason, who is a quite lonely guy and afraid to commit to anyone. He is very needy and I really cared for him and laughed with him (..a sweetie). And this story is both fun and very melodramatic with strong emotions and wistful needs. Gray and Jake showed pretty soon that they wanted more than just some steamy nights, quite kinky with BDSM elements with Mason.

Gray is this huge, strong, silence Dom/Sir kind of guy (yummy hard and hot). Jake is the softer, more cuddly and nurturing one (gorgeous cute), the one who cooks, show his feelings and ask the questions. They both really care and love each other deeply, and they show it (..at home - they are cops - sigh!).

When Mason begins to spend more and more time with Grey and Jake he start to worry, a lot. He worries about to ruin the strong and so very beautiful relationship between his new friends. He worries about to be the one they don't want anymore. ...Maybe he just worries too much?

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Okay, I admit, there is a lot of smutty steam but this book IS really a lovely romance as well. We don't have to worry - it ends just beautiful and grand.
‘Then they all dove into a messy three-way kiss that had them groaning and laughing at the same time.’

As i wrote in in my headline above was Fitting In a good beginner's book for a 'virgin', as me, in the ménage genre. I enjoyed it and it was mostly really nice, sweet and romantic. Sure, there were some scenes when I squinted at times but it still felt comfortable.

photo 3some_zpsb9ab28b6.gif Good enough, 135 pages to chuckle, suffer, enjoy and smile with. ~ Simly pretty nice!

I LIKE - my first... and yes, I liked it

Fitting In features an established couple of two very hot cops and a slightly geeky and unsecure bartender. I love reading gay menage! It itsn't easy to find books in this specific subgenre where I get everything I'm usually looking for, which would be a solid plot, character development and of course hot sex.

Fitting In doesn't have much of a plot, but it had enough to keep me interessted. Mason is working as a bartender at Nathan's tried to save enough money to get his chemisty degree. His family is unaccepting towards his sexuality and his career choice and they don't have much contact. One night, Jack and Gray enter the bar and Mason can't stop watching the extremely hot cops. Trying to solve a case of several robberies around the block, the two cops keep showing up at Nathan's.

Watching them closely, Mason is quick to figure out that Jack and Gray are in a relationship. He also realizes that they are flirting with him, but due to a bad experience in polygamous relationships, he tries to keep his distance. However, he is feeling extremely lonely and when invited to a date he isn't able to say no.

I wasn't able to put this book down, I kept turning the pages and the sex scenes between these tree were very entertaining. The few plot elements of the story were easy to figure out as they are very common in m/m/m books - misunderstandings between the three with regard to what they want out of their relationship, a falling out and make-up sex and a few dangerous situations coming with the law enforcement setting.

The whole story was told from Mason's POV and it was thus a bit one-dimensional. I would have loved to get more insight into the two other MCs. The BDSM elements in this stories are very soft and the tag shouldn't put you off!

For me, Fitting In thus had an intersting enough plot, very hot sex scenes, but unfortunately not enough character development to make it perfect!

4 stars for the beginning of this series! I'm definitly looking forward to the next one!

Awful cover by the way ^^ I have to say that the French version cover is way better!

Mmm... so the more the merrier, right?

Well, sure in theory, and I was plugging along totally digging the menage and D/s with some light bondage going on, but the mental whinging was too much. Would have liked it more without the repeated--repeated--repeated, fucking annoying, right?--character doubt and going back to the same well. I'm more of a dither and then jump in person, not jump in and dither, so this didn't work for me. That said, there was some fine lickety action.

So the book didn't end up in my "love" pile, but it definitely ended up in my "like" pile. There were things I liked about the book and a few things I didn't necessary dislike, but just wished there was more of. So lets break down what those were. The "wanting more" part is me wanting to know the characters better. I would've loved some more background and character development. I think I got a good sense of what kind of guys these men are but I think it could've delved in a bit more. But perhaps there is more revealed in the second book. So basically more background on each of the men would have been awesome.

I didn't care for the whole robberies. I understand the author needed to set up the scene for the naughty cops to meet Mason but it just didn't play out very strong and was much more of an after thought with the rest of the story. It was like, "oh yeah, that's still happening". I totally forgot at some point.

Like I said before, I really liked the men. Gray is dominant, controlling (but not in a scary you must do what I say or else way), strong, and takes on a lot of responsibility as the protector of the men. He is also very much a softy and feels deeply. Loved him. Jack is a bit of a romantic type I think. He's very calm, nurturing, and domestic. He wears his heart on his sleeve. Adored him. Mason is a bit of a broken soul. He's not close with his family and is desperate to belong and be loved. But he finds it being hard to trust anyone with his feelings let alone his heart. So he was the type of character I just wanted to cuddle and smother with affection.

Oh and the sex...

A very enjoyable menage... kinky, sexy and hot!

I didn't feel the MC's connection very strong! There was lack of communication and too much worries!

Despite those feelings, I enjoyed this book very much, and I hope the sequel to be better! It would be wonderful if the MCs live their relationship without worries and openly!

This book burned up my kindle. Cops, BDSM, smoking chemistry and emotion I wasn't expecting.

When two hot cops walk into the bar Mason works at it is his dream come true. After watching Gray and Jack when they are at the bar, he is convinced they are a couple. When they ask him to get together with them, Mason goes, but based on a bad experience he tells himself it can't be more than one night of hot sex since he would never want to come between their relationship. After one night becomes two, and then a month, and they also start hanging out, and texting, Mason realizes he is falling in love with them.

The dominant but caring Gray pushes all Mason's submissive buttons, while Jack is sexy and sweet. Can Gray and Jack convince Mason that they want him as a part of their lives before it is too late? Add in a sub plot involving robberies of the businesses near Mason's bar, and the fact that if Gray and Jack are found to be a couple, they will be split up as partners on the job, and the tension rises.

Told from Mason's POV, I loved the interactions between the men. There was such chemistry between the men, but there were also a lot of emotions at play. This book really took me by surprise and I hope to see more of these three.

Mostly hot sex, with a small side of plot, this was a lot of fun! I do think it was a bit convenient that Mason had taken part in a three way FWB thing that went bad due to jealousy, just the perfect sort of manufactured angst! I would have liked it better if that part had been left out of the story, and Mason was just worried that Jack and Gray would never love him the way they loved each other.

The robbery sub-plot seemed almost like an afterthought until the very end, but who cares? The sex was fuckhot, and face it, that's really why we're all here now, isn't it?

I was bit disappointed in this one. It just didn't suck me in like I was hoping it would. The guys are hot together, but I had a hard time distinguishing Gray and Jack for some reason. They are very secure in their relationship, other than their issue of not being able to be out at work. I liked Mason, but he got on my nerves a bit with his continuous reluctance to get involved with another couple. He had a bad experience being a third previously, so it is understandable. However, it just seemed to be brought up a bit too much for me. Again, the guys were hot together, but I just wasn't feeling the rest of the story.

Oh I enjoyed this one...

I don't often read threesomes, mostly because to me the sex sometimes overtakes the book and as a reader you lose the sense of why a threesome would work.

What I liked the most about this book is that Silvia has a believable story underlying the more sex filled aspects of the book. Insecurity, balance, communication and a detective angle to it all with the robberies. We were never left in doubt that one day these robberies would touch on our hero's lives but that wasn't the point of this book I don't think. The point was that sometimes in the midst of the wildest most passionate affair it is only when the participants communicate that a true relationship can start.

Really enjoyed...

Edit: The sex was scorching without tipping over into porn... if that makes any sense... I loved it x

Take two hot cops in an established relationship, add one sweet, relationship shy bartender and lots of hot sexy, on the kinky side, sex... do the math and you get a ménage ( my fave) with three likeable, engaging characters. Mix up a touch of lightweight D/s, a bit of background crime plus the obligatory 'misunderstandings' before the guys finally decide to take their threesome to the next level and declare their love and overall even though there was nothing particularly fresh it was still an enjoyable enough read. Did I love it? No, I can't claim that Particular L word but I did like it so will definitely read the follow up Sorting Out. Enjoyable! 3.75* rounding up.

Ouch. This turned out exactly the way I feared. A couple talks a third into sex. And one of them is a dom.
That's like pushing all my buttons when it comes to things I *don't* like about a romance.

I struggled with only having Mason's pov. And it took me forever to get Gray and Jack straight in my head. It is a hot little threesome, but the lack of communication led to some serious issues that didn't have to occurr had they just talked about what was expected. I would have reacted exactly the way Mason did because he wasn't told otherwise. Men...they just don't get that "talking" thing.

If you like hot, dominating cops, threesomes, spankings and then this will be for you!

So I bought this when it first came out (b/c hello menage!) and it got buried inside my Kindle. Fast forward to Silvia's newest, book 2 (Sorting Out) - read, loved. Went back to this. Read. Loved.

Hot. Angsty. Mason broke my heart how he tried to stay on the periphery. Thankfully Jack and Gray wouldn't stand for that. :)

Belens Audio Book Review

Greg Boudreaux (the new audio identity Greg Tremblay is using for steamier erotic fiction) delivers a solid performance. I liked his voice choices for the characters, and Greg knows how to deliver the heat for the sexy times.

This is a steam filled, unconventional romance between established couple, Jack and Gray, and bartender, Mason. Told entirely from Mason's POV the relationship starts off, for Mason, as one hot night, but evolves into so much more as feelings grow deeper.

Mason, who has been in a ménage once before, is leery of his deepening feelings for Jack and Gray because of the way he was burned before and consequently he does a lot of running. There's a lot of non-communication from Mason which drove me nuts.

Mostly, I wish I could have gotten Jack and Gray's POVs too.

I really wanted to like this. Hell, I was all set to LOVE this. I've been looking for a great ménage story and this came VERY highly recommended. I don't know...maybe it was timing or mood, but I didn't like it as much as I hoped I would.

I wish I liked it more, especially as it has all the elements I usually love, but with the exception of the communication issues that drove me entirely insane for a quarter of the story, I only solidly liked it. It was okay...but not the spectacularly hot romance I thought it was going to be.

Bottom Line: This has steamy moments, some D/s play, an emotional connection between the lovers, and it's a sweet, ménage romance with some angst.

Really liked this one, in fact the sequel Sorting Out is already loaded on my kindle. I like Silvia Violet's style of writing, and there are a few more books of hers I need to get to, including her new one If Wishes were Horses which is coming out on the 16th. 4 stars and 4 ♥♥♥♥ from me.

Mini review. Could definitely understand where Mason was coming from with Gray and Jack, whew!! Hot and steamy sex scenes, Gray's a bossy sort of Dom, but Jack gives as good as he gets, and the double penetration scene towards the end was a.ma.zing!! I could understand Mason's reluctance to come in between the established couple as things had gone wrong for him in that department before, but he did make rather a big deal out of it...and was 'slapped' down (hehe) for it by Gray. Oh, and there were some robberies as well, and a police officer got shot...but to be brutally honest, I was more interested in what went on between the sheets than the secondary plot...sorry [totally not]. ^_^

The sex was ridiculous hot but the relationship aspect (and feelings) felt a bit rushed. The case was predictable.

I am looking forward to the next one, though, because it's about the growing pains of being together, of character growth, and I love that.

Hot three-ways that turn into more than just physical activity and release are one of my favorite types of stories to read. Outside of the fun that can be had, triad relationships are even more complicated than couples, and most people think they are impossible. Granted, there may be very few stable triads around, but then, how many couples fall prey to deep-seated problems, painful fights, and outright divorce? But I digress. ‘Fitting In’ is about Mason, a lonely bartender, who falls for a clearly loving couple of cops. Mason can’t believe he would fit in despite their repeated invitations and he doesn’t want to destroy their relationship, yet he is tempted beyond belief. This is the story of three men who need each other and have to fight more than society’s preconceived notions that what they want can’t work.

Mason is a bartender because he makes good money that way and, I suspect, because he gets to ogle a lot of hot men while he works. He’s a nerd as well, into science fiction and science in equal measure, and I found that fascinating. Mason wants to study chemistry but has had to put his plans on ice. Meeting Jack and Gray takes his breath away, but he is also determined not to come between them. But despite the fact that his experience with a couple has taught him to get the hell out before one or the other begins to hate him as an intruder, Jack and Gray are just too tempting.

Jack and Gray are dedicated cops. They work as partners but are not out, fearing they’d be sent to different units if anyone figured out exactly how close they have become. They’ve been an exclusive couple for a while, but both of them fall for Mason’s charm. And once they have had him in their bed, they are determined to keep him there – no matter how difficult it turns out to be to convince him.

In this triad, each man has a particular role they play. Best of all, these roles are not written in stone and can change as needed. All three men are required to make things work emotionally, and I loved that. Not just does Mason find a “home” where he can be himself, but Jack and Gray now have someone to balance their competitiveness, their need to be dominant. And all games in the bedroom aside – and boy, are those hot! – Mason, Jack, and Gray need all the stability and love they can get to make it through the threats they face.

If you like triad relationships and the challenges they represent, if a lonely man not believing his luck when finding not just one but two men to love is your thing, and if you’re looking for a read that is as hot as it is psychologically and emotionally compelling, then you will probably like this novel.

★★☆ rounded up to ★★★

This was a sweet little ménage with sizzling smex ... BUT ... Mason's internal dialogue drove me insane ... his to-ing & fro-ing & will-he & won't-he just made me want to smack him up side his frickin' head ... I was grabbing fist-fulls of my hair & muttering expletives at my kindle ... things like "why don't men just fucking TALK to each other?!" & "Come-on Mason, you're supposed to be INTELLIGENT for fucks sake!!!" ... suffice to say, my internal dialogue (well ... it was internal when the kids were in listening range!) detracted from my enjoyment of the book ... it's hot smex with a weak-ish plot ... read with those expectations & you'll probably enjoy it ;-)

DNFed at 47%.

This book was basically just sex. I was waiting for them to talk after their first date but at the second date they moved on to the sex pretty quickly so I stopped. Also it felt borderline coercive. Not quite dub-con, Mason gave consent repeatedly, but he seemed so nervous all the time and it made me uncomfortable

I really enjoyed everything I read by this author between Lucien to The Billionaire's Nemesis. I’ve loved all her Marchesiverse books. I’ve tried reading some of her older books twice before, and I didn’t like them. Professional Distance and Anticipating Disaster. So I didn’t try her older books again, until I saw this was re-released on Kindle. But this time I’m truly done with her older books. I’ll stick to her new releases.
