This book is brilliant and really funny. Once you start reading it you won't want to stop! I got kicked a few times in bed during the night by my other half for having a wee chuckle to myself. I really like that Gerry tells it like it is and doesn't focus solely on fat loss but a happier healthier way of living rather than relying on fat loss programmes putting the responsibility of your health and wellbeing back to you. It puts things in perspective and it's logical. As much my brain probably wants to - it can't argue with logic.

It's really inspiring to read and feels realistic. All the exercises and ideas for meals are explained clearly which is really helpful and accessible to everyone. I would definitely recommend this book, especially to anyone thinking about starting Weight Watchers, Slimming World, 5:2 etc. Don't do it! If you want to make a real change to your approach and attitude to eating and taking care of yourself rather than a short term fix then read this book!
