When reformed party girl Haven Callahan is given the reins to daddy’s pro hockey team, she discovers veteran player, Jack Nolan, is the one calling the shots...
Thrust into her new role as team owner, Haven strikes a hasty but lucrative trade deal, only to find out her new star forward and the sexy groomsman she hooked up with at a friend’s wedding are one and the same man.
At thirty-two, Jack knows if he’s going to have his chance at the Stanley Cup, it’s now or never. But instead of landing a spot on his dream team, he winds up traded to the last-place Milwaukee Renegades, where he soon finds himself playing to a non-existent fan base in a rundown stadium named after crappy pizza. He’s tempted to hang up his skates, except he’s fought for everything he has and he isn’t about to give up without a fight.
In a sport where men coach, play, and call the shots, Haven struggles to find her footing. Worse yet, she can’t keep her hands off the team merchandise—Jack. With Jack on the team and on her side, the Renegades are soon playing less like middling beer-leaguers and more like a pro-level hockey club.
But Jack and Haven are hiding a dirty little secret, and if the media discovers they’re melting the ice after hours, it's game over.

A MUST READ - TO SWOON, TO WONDER, TO CRY AND LAUGH - BEAUTIFUL EMOTIONAL AND SEXY
I love the Nolan brothers. Each new storry about an Nolan gets better and better. There are two Nolans left and I'm wondering if Amy can top the story of Jack Nolan and Haven Callahan.
I read the book through the night and in the morning I went like a zombie to work. I wasn't able to leave Jack and Heven, you have no choice not to fall in love with them. although the story is predictable, it doesn't matter at all. You have to know the next move, you have to know Hevens and Jacks thoughts and all the barriers they have to overcome, to finally find some peace and happines.
Haven Callahan is emotionally broken. Years of mourning, with no one to lean on, without parental support, not able to find some peace, Haven is always on the run. From relationships, comittments and from herself. When her boyfriend for one month asks her to move in with him, she's running again. Finding a new state, a new town will do it. Start a new life again. Then Emily invites Heven to her wedding. The wedding reception is a disaster for the bride, but a blessing for Heven. There are five Nolan brothers, one hotter than the other. She's immediately drawn to Jack Nolan, the University proffesor (or so she thinks). The connection between Heven and Jack is instant and explosive. She promises him three nights, but after the second night of pure bliss, one call destroys everything and she has to leave for an emergency. Jack never met a woman like Haven. During the two days they were together, he never found out her full name and where she lives. He only knows that she is Emily's friend, with emotional scars like him, and that she don't want commitments. As a proffesional hockey player he is always on the road but at his thirties he's beginning to wonder how long he wil be able to play proffesional hockey at all and what comes after that. Both Jack and Heven can't forget each other and Heven ows him still one night. Fate steps in and Jack and Heven crash into each other without warning. This time the situation is verry complicated and their love is forbidden …
You can't go wrong with an Amy Olle book. This is a continuation of the Nolan Brother series. This time Jack gets his own story. The thing I liked about it, there was plenty of hockey action along with a bit of drama and romance. Of course the story wouldn't be complete without the other brothers and their respective others. I was really waiitng for this story to come out and I am so glad I was able to read it. What I liked about Jack is that he wasn't your typical hockey player. Haven also has been through a lot in her life. They don't each want a committed relationship and how their relationship developed was a hard battle. After finishing this story I can see why the characters were the way that they behaved in the first 2 books. I can't wait to read about the brothers which are due out next year. A don't miss read !
Awesome 4.5 stars contemporary sports (hockey) romance. Clearly the author knows how to pull the reader in from the first few pages of this story. Jack loves hockey so much so that it's the only real thing in his life even more than his four brothers. Haven struggles with relationships of any kind and recently left her bartending job. At her friends wedding she meets Jack and has no idea who he is. They have chemistry from the moment before they met until she's suddenly called away. The story covers so many emotions as well as some drama. There are mentions of some issues that may trigger an issue with someone who has suffered abuse but for the most part the story keeps you glued to it. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a. I look forward to reading more books in the future by Ms. Olle especially in the Nolan Brothers series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book
Haven cannot commit to a lasting relationship, she has a dark and damaged past. She is broken and continuously moves from place to place. Haven is invited to the wedding of her college roommate and her only true friend. When she sees Jack Nolan across the bar there is instant attraction. After one amazing night Haven is scared. When her estranged father has a heart attack and his wife a former schoolmates and best friend of Haven's calls and tells her that her father needs her Haven goes to him, leaving Jack without saying goodbye. Jack Nolan is a professional hockey player who hopes to win the Stanley cup, when his trainer and father figure contact him and tells him there is a possibility that he will be traded to Detroit Jack is elated but when he finds out that he was traded to the last place Milwaukee Renegades Jack is beyond angry. Especially when he finds out Haven is now the president and owner of the team.
This story has such a great plot, with heat, angst, tears, and happiness it will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions
This is book three in The Nolan Brothers series and Jack and Haven's journey. Haven's party girl days are over and now she is faced with her Dad's pro-hockey team, the Milwaukee Renegades. She is now in charge and owns it. Is this her chance to prove that she is no longer the party girl but is smart and needs to be taken seriously? Jack has his own goals for his hockey season but they are uprooted when he finds himself traded to the Milwaukee Renegades. If he wants to make this season a success, he is going to have to tighten his skates and put in the work. He is good with that and decides to let nothing stand in his way of a Stanley Cup win. Until these two meet face to face and recognize one another. What do you do when a one night stand from your friend's wedding comes back to haunt you? What is the rule if you are still attracted that person? You have already crossed that professional line, can you cross it again? Another great story in the series, will get your heart pumping and leave you with a satisfied smile. Enjoy!

I am quickly becoming a fan of this writer. Although I am not a huge fan of sports related reads she does an awesome job with this. Both Haven and Jack meet and agree to a few nights and days of companionship, neither knowing much about the other except the chemistry they shared. Who knew the call that Haven received would be such a catalyst? Haven has many battles going on for her head and her heart and once she stops being her own worst enemy maybe just maybe she will allow love to be that is if she can make it thru the next 60 days. Lots can happen in 60 days.
This author writes a wonderful story of finding and accepting love, of staying and toughing it out versus running, of forgiveness, acceptance, and moving on to bigger and better. Her characters are touchable and the Nolan brothers are what dreams are made of. I love what she does and can hardly wait for more.
A Don't Miss Read: Drama, emotions, action, sweet and steamy romance that will have you reading till the last word. Haven and Jack's story is finally here. They don't want a relationship period, in spite of their intense feelings for each other and their chemistry .Although this can be read as a standalone, I would suggest reading the first two books in the series to understand Jack and Haven's behavior and why they are both gun shy of a relationship. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Really liked this book. The 3rd book in the Nolan Brothers series by Amy Olle. When Jack Nolan met Haven Callahan at his brother said wedding. One night was not enough. But when Haven gets a very upsetting phone call about her dad she is put into a though spot. Now she's left with making decisions she doesn't want to make. Seeing Jack again was unexpected. When she finds out what he really does for a living. It turns out not so good. She has lots of skeletons in her closet, but Jack doesn't care.
I really enjoyed the first two books in this series but I found this one didn't move along as quickly as I usually enjoy. I found my mind wandering and I put the book down a few times because it was slow moving, maybe too much inner dialogue early on. It did get better and I'm glad I persevered but it was really only because I own the next two books in the series already and didn't want to miss any details.
Dirty Play is the third book in "A Nolan Brothers Novel" series and is Jack and Haven's story.
The character development is well done and allows you to understand why neither Jack nor Haven wants a long-term relationship when they first meet. The story is emotional and has drama, tragedy, secrets from the past, humour, hockey, suspense, and a second chance for romance.
My favorite part of this story is the characters and their backstory. I like Haven a lot. I like her fierce style and her attitude. I like Jack. I like that Jack and Haven are able to fill in one other's missing parts. The writing is easy and flows and moves along very nicely.

The author got the hockey right!!! Yeah! Great story, great characters. Will definitely try another book by this author. Love an author that does their research about what they write.
An other brother falls in love. These stories are addictive you read one you have to read the next one until you get to the end two more to go! Another couple with baggage and how they get through it I highly recommend this series.
Jack sex her at his brother Luke's wedding. Haven is Emily's college friend and roommate. She misses the ceremony but makes the reception. She see him across the bar. What happens after that is a lot of ups and downs.
This is another beautiful story of Amy! I really took awhile to finish this. There story is quite heavy! But I found strength with Jack! His love is overwhelming! Thank you Amy!!
Wow such a great looking sexy guy and he is actually reserved. He does have sex with anybody, just because, he doesn’t go out drinking to get drunk. He loves with his whole heart, even though he said he wasn’t going to. A great story.
Loved reading Jack and Haven’s story. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put the book down. The book was just full of emotions. Read it and enjoy their journey!
Somehow I missed this when it first came out but am really happy I went looking for it. I loved the first two books in the series and I love this one as well (might be my favorite!) I can't wait for the next one!
Haven is a Woman who has lost alot so she has rules when it comes to men, and one rule is that it doesnt last longer then 3 months or if the guy starts talking Marriage, moving in together etc. Her biggest rule is to never give her heart away. Jack is a man who is a great famous Hockey player and his biggest hope is to win the Stanley Cup, but when he is traded to a Team which doesnt win he quickly gives up that hope. When Haven and Jack first meet at Jacks brothers Wedding things will never be the same again.
What I enjoyed most about Dirty Play is watching two people who dont do relationships find one another in the last place they thought possible and form this thing quickly between the two of them that wont be quickly forgotten. Seeing both of them miss the other and how well and easy it is with the other. Watching Jack make Haven a Promise to help her get her dads team up to par in exchange for what he really wants, that being a chance at the Cup.
This book is great, such a sweet, sad story that captures your full attention as you need to know what is going to happen between Haven and Jack if they will make it or if rules will keep them apart, A woman that has had her heart broken and promises to never let anyone else have it again for fear she would never survive it again, a man who isnt into relationships but finds that one girl that distracts him from everything in his life with her always on his mind, a love story. If you like stories like this, then Dirty Play is a must!!
