I decided to try the Keto diet. I decided to make the recipes in this book the meals i would eat the first week. I don't eat fish, blah. I still will cook all the meals. My kids are not on the diet but still eat with me. They have requested 2 of the meals to be repeated, and have not finished day 5. As a family we have eaten terribly. Too say my kids like the food is saying a lot, we ate lots of fast food. I highly recommend a cookbook that has my kids requesting healthy meals. Favorites are the chicken bacon bombs, cod fish with cauliflower, and Thai chicken. Enjoy!!
I was intrigued by the title: Delicious and Easy Recipes. Some of the recipes sounds like I would enjoy trying them however you’re required to visit another site for the recipes which are very detailed. Internet reception in this area is very poor and slow therefore very time consuming. The few recipes I opened required ingredients not in my pantry so going from the meal planning to the recipes for my shopping list caused me too lose interest in this book.
I was intrigued at title, however did not meet expectation for meal planning and was a short document without recipe all which required visiting other sites for recipe information. The recipe look interesting but don’t have time to build book with the content to shop and cook. I would try other books.
A lot of the recipes are family/kid friendly and easy to make. Just note that most of the pictures associated with a recipe don't seen to match the actual recipe. There is a recipe for a salmon wrapped in cabbage and the picture shows some veggies wrapped in a flour tortilla. This is just one example of many.
Author has a bunch of weird recipes and no real explanation of the keto way of eating. Not recommended for beginners. I'm not a beginner and none of the recipes looked good to me.
Good intro if you want to know what being on a Keto diet can look like. The recipes are not that appetizing to me though, it feels like I'm 'on a diet', one meal is just 160 cals! It'll be hard to cheat my brain into thinking that I'm not depriving myself of treats.
This was a quick look at a week of meals. Good variety. Wish there was a guide to how much you should eat per female, male, over weight, or if your maintaining you weight. It was just a 7 day meal plan with no other info.
I don't eat some of the recipes that were included, but it certainly gave me a new one or two to try. For a free book, I am not disappointed. I am not paying for more meal plans, as I do that myself, but I am always looking for new ideas.
So, the book basics just show the name of the food and 1 picture, and a link for u to check the actual receipt on the website.. IMO for this nearly zero content they should make a month diet plan.. also. The receipts are not that easy and that quick.
got this book from bookspry or a similar one as my husband is going low carb thought I would try this out. This is not a book really just a compiled list of recipes if you are looking for them give them a shot. As this is not a place to rate recipes I can't say much
Has a little insight into the effects of starting such an eating plan. A decent starter book for someone new to the Keto diet. Lots of links to more recipes though.
Really, really not good. Read it in about 5 minutes. Very little information and just some very basic but lacking recipes. Very disappointing. Glad I didn't pay for it!
I was sitting in a place waiting and this was on my phone so I read it - I'm sure it is useful for some people and was worth the free price but I'll probably never use it!
I liked so many items included in a single book. Variety of recipes provides a great opportunity to select from, which doesn't make your diet monotonous.
Nothing fancy - 7 day meal plan. I'm a little curious about some of the carb counts, but I'm not familiar enough with the diet to understand if 30g is high.
