Cole Hart Signature got it right with this one. Not to be confused with an "anthology", Queens of Urban Fiction is a collection of samples/excerpts from mostly upcoming books from authors from the publisher. I have been reading Urban fiction for a very long time and have not seen this done before. This was a great way to highlight upcoming work as well as introduce readers to some of the authors whose work they may not be familiar with as of yet. With the exception of two books, because I read one already and the other was part 4 in a series that I have not started yet, I went through each of these teasers quickly and hit amazon to see if the book was available for purchase. I then proceeded to write down the titles and authors so I can make the purchases when the books release.

Yassss! This is my kind of read. So many stories from so many talented authors. The Queens really brought their A-game with this one. If these samples are any indication of what the whole book will be like, then each and everyone will be a 5-star read. I am anxiously awaiting for each and every one of these books to drop. My only complaint is that as soon as I really get into the story, it ends with me wanting more. Kudos to each and every Queen that contributed a story. You ladies rock.

These ladies are fantastic!! I kept reading and trying to figure out which story I liked the best and I couldn't choose. Each story had twists and turns, cliffhangers. This is the type of book that once you start reading, you can't put it down!! There's not enough space to hit on each story, but all of them is straight up fire and I can't wait for these ladies to do it all over again. They are definitely the " Queens of Urban Fiction" Kudos, ladies, kudos!!!!

Y'all ladies gone bring the New Year in with some fire. I swear I was reading some of these sample stories like please let there be more by accident. Wetting my whistle and leave me begging for more. I can't wait to read the remainder of these stories. I need all of you to write thoughtfully and expeditiously (No breaks) because your fans are waiting patiently on what's to come with your characters. Great job and I raise my glass to you all.

Great series of short stories
This book has enlightened to many new Authors and I truly enjoyed reading their stories. Some the books had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I was a little disappointed when I was unable to find some titles so that I could continue to read them. I overall enjoyed this book.

Great great great read
This book makes me want more. A great collection of short stories from a amazing set of authors. Each story left me wanting more now. I can't wait till 2017 for all these books to come out, so I can read the entire story. The Queens did it again.

Awesome awesome awesome not only are these QUEENS ARE AWESOMELY TALENTED,,,,, These STORIES made me holler screaming and shouting ......From infidelities to self esteem ....We as woman MUST check ourselves .....If we keeping excepting what a man does to us and We don't value our SELF WORTH we get what we deserve.....I was rooting for Gee to get the girl for after being disrespected in his relationship his baby momma wants him to accept her INFIDELITIES and give her a chance. No way no how he finds A Queen out of his league whose past is mysteriously similar to his but LOVE has stolen her peace of mind and left unstable .....GO GEE GO ......

Awesome Reads
All the ladies are very talented. They all have their own writing style. Each story was very different, but flowed greatly. Some of the stories will have your mouth hanging wide open. All the characters from each story were a trip. Some I honestly wanted to slap! The women in a few of these stories were so naive to the nonsense. I was shocked at some of their actions. A few of the male characters I couldn't stand while others I loved. Each story had a different lesson behind it. So many books to choose from that is hard to write on all of them. Some of these stories are familiar and may have been read before, but there is nothing like having the chance to reread them again. I am most definitely looking forward to reading more from each story.

okay all ima say is this book is nothing but a tease! There was so many great stories but I got frustrated because I couldn't finish it. The book gave me some insights on what book I wanna read first and what books I feel I may not want to read. Whomever came up with this idea, Brilliant!!

The Best is Yet To Come
The hard thing about reading this book is you have to wait til the full stories are released. That's hard because these were some fire stories and just when you thought you were about to get more it ends. I can't wait for each and every one of these stories to be released. The Quuens of Urban Fiction got some real good stuff coming out. Stay tuned.

The Queens definitely deserve their crowns

Man this was a great series. this should have been called queens of petty. but I can't just pinpoint characters in this book. but baby these short stories were hella good. these short stories better hurry up to come out in 2017..these women did the damn thang!

Great stories
All the stories were really good. I can't wait for the full novels. Laquita, Twyla, and Bernie stories are my favorite though. Had me in my feeling. Great job to all the ladies!

All hail to the Queens! This was an awesome compilation of stories that gave us a taste of what is yet to come from these ladies. I'm going to be straight broke next year trying to keep up with all these new releases. All of the stories left you wanting more with your mouth wide open. Kudos Queens!

This was hit or miss. There were some great stories that lead me to some talented authors and fantastic stories. The drawback is including a sequential book from a series. I cannot read a series out of order because the characters behaviour usually won't make sense. Other than that, I'd recommend it,
