Ωραίος και ο δεύτερος τόμος της σειράς, ίσως με λιγότερη δράση σε σχέση με τον πρώτο, αλλά με κάποιες ενδιαφέρουσες εκπλήξεις στην πλοκή. Επίσης μαθαίνουμε ορισμένα πραγματάκια από το παρελθόν του Λάργκο Γουίντς, που είναι σημαντικά για να κατανοήσουμε πώς έφτασε εκεί που έφτασε, αλλά και γιατί είναι αυτός που είναι. Το σχέδιο παραμένει εξαιρετικό και άκρως ρεαλιστικό, με φοβερά χρώματα.

J'ai d'abord découvert Largo Winch sous les traits de Paolo Seganti dans la série télé. Puisque cette dernière s'inspire des BD je me suis toujours dit qu'il faudrait que je les tente. Je n'ai lu que les deux premiers tomes et j'ai beaucoup aimé, mais je n'éprouve cependant pas l'envie de continuer. Je revisionnerais bien la série par contre.

Largo Winch looks to be as good as Van Hamme’s Thorgal. The line and colour art are amazing and the financial suspense-type story makes this an irresistible page turner.

Continues at the same pace where the first album ended.

Largo takes up the mantel for the W group and as expected, faces a heavy lash from all of the group members. They aren't easily letting someone, a orphan, from a corner of the world, to suddenly take up and lead the entire group.

Meanwhile, the murderer still lurks within the group, trying to get his hands - in anyway possible - over the share bonds that are signed, but left unnamed by Nerio.

Jumping between the present and the past, we meet the days when Largo was a young lad, being groomed by Nerio in whichever way possible. Going rogue many times, yet being caught all the time, young Largo soon realises he doesn't have much of a choice.

With the help of Simon, this album answers the questions on whether Largo manages to establish his hold on the group and capture the murderer, who doesn't seem to be resting much until he gets hold on the bonds.

Dit behoort ondertussen meer dan 30 jaar tot de absolute top van de langlopende stripreeksen. Dit tweede deel heeft de tand des tijds zeer goed doorstaan. Mijn smaak is ondertussen wel wat geëvolueerd maar toch blijft dit spannende, leuke lectuur, zelfs al is het op bepaalde pagina's te uitleggerig. Aan de andere kant moet je het maar doen : een succesvole strip waarbij problemen rond aandelen, holdings, successierechten,... gecombineerd wordt met een 007-achtig verhaal vol spectaculaire actiescènes en natuurlijk de prachtige vrouwen die de charismatische miljardair op zijn pad kruist.

Dans ce deuxième tome, nous continuons à en apprendre un peu plus sur Largo et sa rencontre avec son père adoptif, comment ce dernier l'a préparé petit à petit à diriger son empire. Les flashbacks apparaissent toujours à des moments appropriés et donnent du rythme au récit.

Largo doit en même temps se battre pour prendre le contrôle de son héritage tant convoité. Ses ennemis sont sans pitié et n'hésitent pas à employer les manières les plus extrêmes.

..Y cuando leí el segundo me gustó más todavía porque me cerró mucho más la historia, con lindas vueltas de tuerca y acción muy bien llevada.
Bonus personal: si no me eqvuioco, este es uno de los primeros libros que me compré con mi primer "sueldo" de redactor.
