Twenty years ago, I read my first personal development book called The Silva Mind Control Method. It remains in my personal library along with five others I kept (out of dozens of others I no longer keep). This book joins the illustrious minority I will keep. It’s called Emotional Healing With Essential Oils by Trish Nash.

The book is short, just like Silva’s book, and is just as easy to read. The advice inside is spot on, especially what I read on the first pages. The way you treat yourself tells what you are willing to accept from others.

If only more people recognised that sage advice.

And you know what? There is more inside.

It is written in plain English, and the author has taken the time to keep it short and simple. (Anthony Robbins is great, but by comparison, Trish speaks mountains more information with far less words.)

Whether you like aromatherapy or not, this book is worth a lot... and can help you regain so much more than its price if you follow your true self — which this book can help you achieve.

This book is so much more that a collection of information about essential oils... It is a road map to self-discovery and healing. I have a spiritual background and could directly relate to much of the information in here, but what I loved is how the author backed up the spiritual concepts with science (something else I am personally fond of). I haven't had much to do with essential oils in my life, other than appreciating their pretty smells, and this book has given me a clear place to start. It is very simply written, like you are talking to a friend over coffee... And she hasn't baffled me with too much fluff - her suggestions and information regarding the oils is simple and direct, and I was easily able to decide which ones I want to acquire first. I recommend this book to anybody who is on the path to self-discovery, whether they have been travelling for years or have just begun their journey.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It's not the kind of book I usually read being that I love fantasy novels, however, the amount of information and the range of oils is outstanding. Very informative and I'd definitely recommend it.

Very interesting read with a few 'aha' moments. Have always used essential oils and upon reading this book I had a better insight as to why I was drawn to the different oils (apart from loving the smell!). Going to definitely try a few of the recommended oil mixes. Well done Trish Nash.

This is a brilliantly written and well researched self-help book. Nash speaks from the heart about her own journey of emotional healing, she really opens up and shows a beautiful way for others to follow and find their own peace. This book is not a book that presses certain philosophies, or beliefs (which is a good thing because that can ostracize people) she just gives an honest, helpful account and a plan or process of ideas and ways to do things in which to bring about healing of your own emotions.
Parts of this are laid out in a 'list format', e.g., certain oils you can use and/or steps you can take, and she covers a wide area, with variants that will be sure to help a large group of people.
Thoroughly enjoyable :)

She has shared her very personal journey through past abuse, grief and trauma ...'to inspire each of you to share your stories and to be open about your true emotions...' Thank you Trish, your book truly is an inspiration.

I love the scent of Lavender, it relaxed me and was surprised how much it could help me in mood, creativity and health. Trish's book is a marvellous collection of information on essential oils and how to use them. I will be doing my experimentation on the use of this and hope it can clear my head to be even more creative.

I would highly recommend this book!
