A book for children about Down syndrome. Told in the voice of a little boy with DS, the author expresses some of the issues with young children with special needs. Autism and other learning differences are indirectly addressed as the little boy makes this All children are different and yet they are all alike in so many ways. This book is for classrooms, teachers, therapists, parents and families of children with Down syndrome and other special needs. The illustrations are done by the little boy's sister. Her interpretations of his experiences are presented through her eyes and are honest and descriptive. Tolerance for special needs children is emphasized and hopefully this book will help answer questions that children and adults alike have regarding Down syndrome.
