When I delivered a package at midnight, the last thing I expected was to wind up as the assistant to a reclusive, brooding billionaire. His mirror tells him he’s hideous. I know better. There’s nowhere I want to be more than with him. But will he ever let me see beyond the beast he thinks he is?
I liked the sound of this book’s blurb and I had a feeling that it would be my kind of book, so I jumped right into the story without reading any reviews. However, I didn’t expect much from it since this was my first read by this author, but it came as a real surprise to me. It was so good—literally blew me away!
Since this is a very short story and I don't want to give anything away, I will not get into details but suffice to say that everything in this book went exactly as I hoped and some parts were even far better than expected. The plot was simple but engaging. It was fast-paced and had a very beautiful epilogue.
“You’re perfect,” he said. “You haven’t even seen me,” she replied, not necessarily wanting to argue, but unable to let such a silly statement stand. “You’re wrong. I see you every day. You’re perfect,” he said, punctuating the final word with a kiss.
Be still, my heart…
The best thing about this book was the hero and heroine. These protagonists totally made my day! It always feels so good to find another book that I can enjoy both main characters, and yes, Rose and William are now my new favorite couple!
Rose Marshall is a fantastic heroine. She’s strong, independent, hard-working, open, and yet so caring and loving. But what I admired most about her is that she is not afraid to speak her mind.
And William…Love me some brooding heroes! Can I have a minute to fangirl? *Sigh* Well, William Hannigan is a solitary man. Almost everyone who knew him, especially his employees, thought of him as a demanding, terse, and moody boss. But there’s more to him than meets the eye, believe me!
Not until Rose came into his life did William realize how lonely and empty his life had been. He needed her to be his woman. But with his scarred face, he didn’t know if he deserved someone as wonderful as her. Obviously, both of them had the same feelings toward each other, but was the bond between them strong and secure enough to make their relationship last forever?
This was such a cute short story. Very sweet, yet so damn hot! I enjoyed it from the first page to the last. This was another great retelling of Beauty and The Beast that you shouldn’t miss out on.
This is such a sweet modern day version of Beauty and the Beast. Rose Marshall has been raised by her grandmother to be honest hardworking and to stand up to a bully so when she delivers a package late one night to William Harrington the grumpy brooding reclusive billionaire she stands firm and William is not exactly sure what to make of the young woman before him. After a car accident which damaged half his face and nearly took his life William has shut himself off from the rest of the world and he's used to a life of solitude and quiet. Rose enters his life and brings noise and colour back and at first William's not sure he likes it but after a while he's not sure how he lived without it, when she leaves for the night she takes the life and colour with her and he's left in the cold lonely house, which never really seemed cold and lonely before. At first he thought of her as an annoyance but now he can't imagine his life without her but he can't get attached. This is such a lovely read.
"Billionaire Beast" Is the story of William, scarred and a loner who doesn't interact much with the outside world. Rose, who works as a messenger and ends up meeting William while delivering some documents to his house.

Even though it was a short book it was well written. I thought It was going to be one of those OTT, full of sexual encounters but it wasn't, I mean don't get me wrong it was definitely sexy. But it was more than their physical attraction. William, tried to denied his feelings but he just couldn't and once he gave in he was so amazing, and caring. Rose, was so perfect for William, I love that she accepted him with his scars and when he tried to push her away she stood her ground. She was sassy, and sweet and she fought for her man!
This was a wonderful, sweet, sexy and that epilogue, just perfect! ❤
Really sweet and short read based on the BATB theme. Rose finds herself one stormy night at William's doorstep. How she ends up working for him and they fall for each other forms the story. The only thing I had a minor issue with is the hero's insecurities- but however the story and epilogue were pretty cute. Safe read 3.5/5
Short and sweet novel that I devoured in one session as I could not put it down. It might contain all the typical treats of a "Beauty and the Beast" theme combined with a "Billionaire Alpha" but it is written well and I really liked it - enjoy
4.5/5 Hot, fast, 100% safe read!! Beauty and the beast themed H had not been with anyone in over 14 years Scarred H Virgin h Older man h was sassy and fun Cute epilogue A must read!!!
William Hannigan is a 38 year old billionaire recluse who rarely leaves his mansion. When he was 24 he was burned in a horrible car accident that left him badly scarred. Rose is a bike messenger working her ass off to take care of her beloved Grandmother. She gets a delivery late one night to a beautiful mansion and when she sees William she is mesmerized. She doesn't care about his scars she thinks he is gorgeous. He hires her immediately as his personal assistant because he is wildly attracted to her and wants to be around her as much as he can.
This was a cutesy read, much more marshmallow than I'm used to reading. The title is very misleading, it was like a sweet filler story. No sexual heat or crazy chemistry. More like secondary characters finding love and getting the house with the white picket fence. It was safe, so if you're into that you'd like this book.
I absolutely loved this book! It’s the first book of Eden’s that I have read but it definitely won’t be the last. Billionaire Beast reminded me of a modern day beauty and the beast (which is my favourite film so of course I loved this story). My only complaint/disappointment is that I was expecting more steamy, red-hot passionate scenes after the way William’s rough attitude was (and because of the book title), but there wasn’t. I liked not only the hero and heroine but also the storyline. The storyline is short and sweet, I liked that rose was able to see beyond Williams scars and love him for the person he was.
An extremely modern twist to 'Beauty and the beast'. It was also short with a total of 4 characters which made following the story very easy. Three and a half stars, because even though I loved it it was to short for me to give it a higher rating. I am looking forward to reading more books for this author.
Nice short take on beauty and the beast fairy tale. I am a sap for insta-love with a broken and scarred man...just gets me going. Anyway, first time reading this author, and it was pretty good. May get a couple of here other novels...hopefully they will be as good as this one. PS...that that the "beauty" from the aspect of the fairy tale was name Rose...freaking great!!
Really liked this. Short, cute, sexy read. Scarred billionaire being brought to his knees by the quirky, funny, virgin assistant. Gonna try and find more books from this author. Hope they are as good as this one.
Billionaire Beast by Eden Proctor is equal parts sexy and sweet. The H/h are perfect for each other even if William is a stubborn beast. Rosie is outgoing with a serious soft spot for her growly boss.
