Gridlocked
Wesson Campbell always says the wrong thing at the wrong time when under pressure. Because of that, he has a reputation for being a bit of a dumb meathead. Gridlocked is AWESOME!!! Totally love Wesson and the things he says! He has such a huge heart, and Molly is perfect for him! Maren Lee is an amazingly talented author, and I can't wait to read book 4 in the Bounty County Series!

Oh Wesson. What can I say about Wesson? He's not your average hero, but who wants average? He's quirky, funny, sexy, protective, and swoony all rolled into one stacked man! He's one of the many Bounty County police officers, but he's definitely a special one.
Molly Mooney is the very smart, very sweet doctor in Wesson's group of friends. She grew up in Imminence, but spent time away for college and med school. She's back with her own psychiatry practice, and she also works with inmates at the prison as well.
Neither of these two are looking for love, but hell when it happens it happens. Plus when your matchmaking friend gives you a sort of gentle shove... it's almost inevitable. Their love story has a fun build up to watch. Molly has some painful history that has her hesitant, and Wesson treading carefully through their relationship. When they finally give in to what they want it's hot and swoony and perfection!
The first side plot in this story is really good as well. If you've read the first two books then you'll know there's a drug and corruption problem in Imminence, and it is explored more here, but in a way that ties into the characters in this story.
Ok and there's another side plot about another couple and it is oh so good, and gets you ready for book four!
Gridlocked has a little bit of everything. There's swoony romance, hot and steamy bits, a good bit of laughter, and a moderately suspenseful side plot. I don't know what else you could need in an erotic contemporary romance.

This was my first book by Maren Lee and I really enjoyed it. I was apprehensive going in because I had not read the first two books, but I didn't feel like I was confused about the other characters.
Wesson- that adorable hunk. He was so endearing to me for some reason. He loved with his whole heart (Molly and his mom) and he was a dirty talker. He came across as kind of dopey from time to time, which at first was odd, but as he grew on me (and we met his mom) I just went with it.
Molly - I really liked her personality. She was smart and sweet and totally into Wesson, I love that she never looked down on him with some of the odd things he said, and wasn't constantly correcting him. She had a traumatic experience in college and in Wesson she finally found someone she felt comfortable enough to let down her guard and share herself with.
-no cheating
-no ow/om drama at all ( I didn't read the first two books so I don't know if they had been with anyone in those)
-no real pushing away once they are together.
-steamy
-great secondary characters - not sure about book 4 since there is a separation. Will see if they are with others during the separation but it's not looking like it will be for me unfortunately
-HFN with no real epilogue which was disappointing to me

Gah! I heart-eyes LOVE this series.
I'm tempted to say that Maren Lee is getting better and better with each book she writes, but the reality is that she's always been this freaking good, I'm just becoming further invested & completely addicted to all things Bounty County.
With each instalment released, being back in Imminence, Montana is like being back with family & friends & Gridlocked is no exception.
Engaging from the get go, I was barely a few pages in and had already laughed, sighed and swooned - aways a sign of an awesome read ahead - and it absolutely was. Perfectly paced, with a flawless plot that plucks at genuine emotion, it's skilfully written & cleverly executed.
Wesson Campbell is EVERYTHING. Somewhat the antithesis of a romance read leading man, he's a little goofy, a little dorky but without a doubt, perfect book boyfriend material. Sweet, ethical, loyal and protective, the fact that his vernacular is left of centre really only makes him that much more endearing. Now, add all that on top of "Wesson Behind Closed Doors" - bossy, filthy, buff & dominant - and ding, ding, ding, ladies, we have a winner! (Actually, dong, Dong, DONG! would be far more accurate... #JustSayin)
Molly Mooney is the type of chick you'd be friends with, no hesitation. She's not only ideal for Wesson, she's the perfect addition to the "Queen of Bounty County's Court."

Speaking of which, aways greedy to check in with old favourites of books past, Ms Lee did not let her fans down. Giving us quality scenes with "the crew" that were not only organically part of this book's plot, they reminded me why I fell in love with Bounty County in the first place. #ReReadAlert!
I loved every single thing about Gridlocked, from the way it made me smile like a loon to having to ice down my lady business so I could keep reading! No lie - it was a real toss up between dealing with the effects of how freakin' hot this book is vs putting the book down... So, you'll need to decide for yourselves which way you go, but trust me, it WILL be something you'll need to decide.
And finally... as to the sexily delicious R & K scenes & the set up for book 4, U-Turn...

Gridlocked (Bounty County 3) by Maren Lee.
It has been pure pleasure reading the Bounty County Series by Maren Lee. All three books were amazing; each book better than the last and that is saying a lot. But holy wow!! Gridlocked was my absolute favorite so far. (Yes, if you were wondering, there is another book in this series coming soon) So not only was Gridlocked by favorite in the series so far, it is my absolute favorite read for this month! In fact, Gridlocked is easily in my top ten list of 2017!
I recommend you check it out!
This book had all the feels I love to see in the perfect book. There was danger and suspense as well as a ton of humor. Let's not forget Wesson and his verbal ignorance. I believe we're calling them "Wessonisms." I can honestly say I haven't read a hero like Wesson before and I'm glad he's the only one; an original kick-ass, sexy, adorable, dork. And I mean "dork" in the most affectionate way. I absolutely loved him! #mybookboyfriend :)
While reading this book it was easy to infer that Maren Lee put a lot of thought and care in Wesson's character. She took a chance and it paid off. Seriously...mold broken. Have I mentioned how much I love Wesson? ;)
Molly was a great heroine and perfect for Wesson. Molly was highly intelligent, successful, beautiful, kind, caring, and independent. And despite Wesson's claims that she could never be interested in him, Molly adored Wesson from the start. She never judged him and easily gave him her heart,
We met Molly in previous books of the series, as well as Wesson. I admit I didn't have a great impression as to what type a character she would be and I wasn't sure I would like her for Wesson. Well not only did I love her for Wesson...I just loved her! I especially loved how she treated and was treated by Wesson. Pure smexy, swoon-worthy.
I could certainly go on and on and still not give this book the justice it deserves so I'll just tell you to buckle up for an incredible, hot, sexy, sweet, suspenseful and hilarious book!
Get ready.....Gridlocked is coming August 29th 2017!

Maren knocked it out of the park yet again! Molly and Wesson have got to be one of my favorite characters (although, Lane is gonna be a tough one to beat)! This read is sugar and spice and everything nice. You don't want to miss out on this one and the other Bounty County books from an amazing author!

OMG Molly & Wesson are now my favorite couple in this series. As I read each book I'm falling harder and deeper for these characters. Molly isn't your typical woman, she's kept herself in check for quite some time now and I give her a lot of credit for that. Wesson is just hilarious and with his Wessonisms you're surely going to be enjoying yourself while reading. This man has his own set of rules he's trying to abide by with the deliciousness of a alpha make mixed in ooohwiii come over here officer. This story is such a great read that keeps you guessing what's to come. Yes we have the sexy as all scenes but mixed perfectly within is a bit of mysterious drama and I'm loving every second. Undoubtedly a one click, must read book! This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

My favorite of the series so far!!!
This is the 3rd book in the series This is about Molly who is a psychiatrist and does work at the local prison and Wesson who is a deputy for the sheriff's department. He doesn't think he is good enough for Molly because she's so smart and he feels he's lacking because he says dumb stuff all the time.
Wesson is AWESOME! Him mixing up words was too funny and adorable! He says:
'I beg to differentiate' instead of 'I beg to differ'
Dora Dora instead of Bora Bora
'squid pro row' instead of 'quid pro quo'
'touch face later' instead of 'touch base later'
And what's even more awesome is that Molly adores this about Wesson. These two are probably the best couple ever! And don't even get me started on the sex! Hot damn were they sexy and dirty!
If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I certainly hope Ms. Lee can write fast!

Wesson and Molly were a fun couple to read about. Some people might think Wesson is dumb, but I loved his "Wessonisms". I was cracking up at them. He is such a sweet character that it doesn't matter that he never seems to say the right thing. He says the right things when it really matters, like confessing his love for Molly or dirty talking her.
I loved getting to know all of the other characters again.
This book was HOT!!! If you like steamy sex scenes with lots of dirty talk, then Wesson and Molly's story is definitely for you.
I really enjoyed this series so far for the sexy stuff, but also for the exciting cop/crime fighting action.
There never seems to be a dull moment in Bounty County, and I think there may still be more to come ;)

Absolute MUST read this hilariously steamy book!!!!!!!!
Maren Lee is quickly becoming one of my automatic one-click authors. Gridlocked was such a great read! Wesson had me laughing out loud with his Wessonisms and the chemistry between Molly and Wess was sizzling hot. Gridlocked had just enough suspense to keep you hooked and so hot I was surprised my kindle didn't start smoking. I absolutely can not wait for more from Bounty County!

When I first started reading The Bounty County Series, I wasn't sure that it could get better than book 1, then Maren wrote book 2 and now we are onto book 3 and DAAAAAAAAMN!!! Is Maren smashing it!!!!
This is Wesson and Molly's book and good lord, these two are just out of this world. There has been some on and off flirting and I am so glad that it is finally on!
Wesson is such a dork and his "Wessonisms" are just so awesome but at the same time is he sexy with a dash of Alpha and keeps you coming back and you can't help but love him.
Molly was not someone who I was sure I would love but she blew me away. Even though she is shy when she finds her confidence and uses it, she becomes such a goddess that you can't help but love her and want to be her B.F.F.
This book had me on the edge of my seat as you are never sure what is going to come out of any of their mouths. There is intrigue and drama that will keep you coming back for more and if that isn't enough then I can guarantee you that the sex is epic. This book is HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

4.5 stars for me
This story is my favourite in the series so far. I absolutely adored Wesson's character and his quirky phrases and behaviour. He was a perfect fit for sensible, naive Molly. I loved how he took care of her and always handled her with gentleness and kindness.
Who said an Alpha Sheriff can't have a sweet side.
Plenty of action and plot twists, along with seriously hot chemistry make this a perfect romance read. Maren Lee is fast becoming a favourite author for me. Already looking forward to book 4.

OMG! Where to start with this review Maren! This Bounty County Series! Only keeps getting better! So we had some drama! So many laughs! Loved Wesson his quirkisms, dorkisms and wessonisms! Molly is a dream! But together they are soooo hot, these two just can't get enough of one another! Loved everything about this, so looking forward to U Turn! Katie & Ryan's story! This is going to be good, look out Jake!

Gridlocked in book 3 in the Bounty County Series about a town of the hottest (dirtiest) cops you could ever wish to meet.
I'd say each romance is a standalone, but to appreciate the fuller picture it's always best to start at book one.
I simply adored Wesson and Molly. Right from the beginning it was instant smitten. This couple and their courtship was just lovely and easy, there was no game playing or hesitation on either side. Wesson is a complete sweetheart from the way he takes care of and respects Molly (I am a sucker for a chivalrous hero) and loves his mom and if that wasn't enough he has a cute trait with his Wessonisms ( he says well known phrases wrong ) that just made me giggle every time. A great, unique character personality Maren included.
Quotes I loved:
“You deserve better than that. And so do I." Stop being so perfect!
He's interested, I’m sure of it. He’s just a man. You have to understand that men are always going to be men. And they suck. And in addition to being sucky, Wesson isn't that great with ‘the words’ so he’s an extra special piece of pain in the ass.”
There's a drunk scene with Molly and Wesson that had me giggling. She was funny and he was incredibly sweet with her. At this point I was already Team Wesson, but then he talked about his cat Kobe Michael ( snow boots!! ) and that was it. He's now my man. Who can resist a man who loves his cat.
When a man isn't afraid to show he adores his woman, my fictional loving heart is happy. Wesson is that man. What a huge heart he has.
“Just wanna tell you, Molly, I am your safe space. Nothing you can say can make me think differently of you.” Sigh sigh sigh.
Sidenote: can I just say how much I love Brenden? Sigh. Hot married man. There's so much man-candy in these books, a girl is spoiled for choice.
What a great series this is building to be. And then the next book is the sexy, dirty-mouthed cop Ryan in one of my fave tropes age-difference romance!!!

She was funny and he was incredibly sweet with her. At this point I was already Team Wesson, but then he talked about his cat Kobe Michael ( snow boots!! ) and that was it. He's now my man. Who can resist a man who loves his cat.
When a man isn't afraid to show he adores his woman, my fictional loving heart is happy. Wesson is that man. What a huge heart he has.
“Just wanna tell you, Molly, I am your safe space. Nothing you can say can make me think differently of you.” Sigh sigh sigh. Sidenote: can I just say how much I love Brenden? Sigh. Hot married man. There's so much man-candy in these books, a girl is spoiled for choice.
What a great series this is building to be. And then the next book is the sexy, dirty-mouthed cop Ryan in one of my fave tropes age-difference romance!!!

I have said it in the past but will say it again, I'm so glad I found the Bounty County Series and I'm only sorry it took me so long to finally read it.
Book 3 is incredible. We get Wesson and Molly's story. OMG how can you not love Wesson with his Wesson-isms. He says the wrong thing and has all of these funny antidotes that are so off you need an interpreter for him. But this man loves, and loves with his whole heart. Molly is such an incredible heroine too!
There story isn't all peaches and creme. They have real life struggles and there is such a great sub-story with Wes's dad and the mystery that is going on when someone plants drugs in Molly's car. Completely insane! You have to keep reading, because you need to know what is going to happen next.
Just a great story :) I loved every second of my time in Bounty County

So I am a newbie to this series, but after reading this one, I must go back and read the other 2. This has to be one of the funniest books I have ever read. I found myself laughing constantly while reading, and wanting to call my friends who I was buddy reading with at 1 in the morning cause I reached a good part.
Wesson and Molly's story although not conventional, is the picture perfect relationship we are all searching for. You never know what you are going to get with those two. Whether they are being serious, funny (either intentionally or unintentionally), and just sweet, we want to be with them for the entire journey.
Maren Lee has officially become a one-click author for me, I do not give that title to many writers. Anything that she writes I will own from here on out. I also know I am not the only one that wants to know what is coming out of Bounty County next!

I don't think I have ever laughed as much while reading a book. Maren is a story telling genius. I laughed until I cried and my stomach hurt.
Gridlocked is the 3rd book in the Bounty County series and follows Wesson and Molly. Wesson is a tough, sex cop who just can't get his idioms correct. this makes for hilarious conversations. Molly is a doctor who still holds her V card at the age of 33.
This book is also HOT as hell and well the burns!
While this book can be read without reading the first two, I recommend that you read them in order. I am, now and forever, a Maren fan. I will read anything she publishes.

Gridlocked by Maren Lee is book #3 in her Bounty County series, which follows the small-town cops of the sheriff's department in Imminence, Montana. I've read and enjoyed the previous books in the series and Gridlocked is my favorite so far.
Psychiatrist Molly Mooney has returned to her hometown of Imminence, where she now runs her own practice. She works with the local department of corrections, where many of her patients come from. As competent as she is with others, she's got her own issues and secrets from the past that she's never shared with anyone before. But she'd like to open up to someone finally...someone like Wesson Campbell.
Wesson made me smile so many times throughout this book. He's an excellent cop, but he has a unique way with words that results in "Wessonisms"--i.e., totally flubbing most figures of speech that he tries to use. It's endearing and funny at the same time.
But beyond the lovable goof is a real stand-up guy. Wesson's family history is complicated: his dad is in jail for assaulting Wesson's mom, who was left permanently disabled as a result. When Wesson learns that his dad is being paroled, he'll stop at nothing to make sure his mom stays safe.
Meanwhile, Molly and Wesson explore a newfound romance that ranges from sweet as candy to hot as hell. Seriously, Wesson is my favorite hero from this series, hands down. He's a sweet talker and a dirty talker, all rolled up into one. And beyond his moments of comic relief, he shows fierce loyalty to those he cares about--especially his mom and now, Molly.
After Wesson's dad is released from prison, things take a bad turn and Wesson must keep not only his mom safe, but the woman he's quickly falling for more and more each day.
It's always fun to revisit the characters of Bounty County. I am also super excited for the next book in the series. I enjoyed Gridlocked and recommend it.

4.5 star read for me. This is my first Maren Lee book and although I started at book 3 in the Bounty County series, I didn’t feel lost with all the other characters. Wesson is just divine!! He’s absolutely hilarious with all his mixed up sayings aka “Wessonisms” but has an heart of gold and he brings a lot of heat to your kindle with Molly! Sooo HAWT!! The way he treats her melts your heart. The storyline has a good mix of light feelings and then drama. I’m definitely keen to go back and read books 1 and 2 and look forward to Ryan’s story next!

First off, who doesn't love a man in uniform? I know I do. I loved Wes. He is lovable and one of a kind. I also liked how this book was sort of an opposites attract kind of romance. Two people who you don't think would make a good couple, are actually perfect for each other.
This book had me laughing and swooning in all the right places. I loved Wes and his Wesson-isms. A fantastic read!

The relationship between the Molly & Wesson was adorable and hilarious most of the time mixed with some sweet and serious.

This was a lighter, low-angst, dirty, sweet read. I absolutely loved it.
Wesson and Molly were an amazing couple. Geez, I'm still laughing about his cat's name. I loved the whole cast of characters. Although this is a stand alone, I must go back and read the first two books in the series.

Bounty County is back and they are taking no prisoners. There aren't enough emojis to show you how I felt during this story. I laughed a lot. Wanted to hurt Justin, and was shocked half the time. Maren kept you guessing what the tension and turmoil would be for this couple to overcome.
Wesson is the sweetest hero out there. I believe he is my favorite of the Bounty County boys. He has a good heart but stands up for those he loves and wants to protect. His Mom is hilarious and their relationship is awesome in this story. The cat!!! OMG I love the cat in this. So funny and what a great way to break tension sometimes.
Molly knows what she wants. He's tall, handsome, and can help her with her problem. When things go awry, she will lean into Wesson more and more. I like how she is determined to overcome what life has thrown at her.
This story had it all for me. I couldn't put it down and never wanted it to end. All your favorite characters are back and they add to the enjoyment of the novel. I would recommend this.

If you have not indulged in the Bounty County series, you need to one click those bad boys now. This is the third book and Wes had me laughing so much during this book that my other half thought I was nuts. You will fall head over heels in love with Wesson and his mannerisms and the guy is seriously sweet with a HUGE side of sexy and dirty to satisfy all your romantic book cravings. Wes and Molly's story has it all with secrets, drama, suspense and a few crazy moments that just make everything more interesting and have you glued to the pages from start to finish. However this book has left me wanting.............. I NEED RYAN'S STORY NOW!!! Gridlocked is nothing short of five stars and Maren Lee needs a big old hug for just how much this book made me smile and laugh.

The more I read about the characters of Bounty County...the more I fall in love with them. It all started in Ride-Along with Justin and Chloe. Then we fell a little more in love with Bounty County in Changing Lanes...I mean, it's Jake and Lane.
BUT, Maren Lee teaches us that like fine wine, Bounty County only gets better. Think white wine.... the Conundrum white blend, if you will. You'll fall in love with his Wessonisms. You'll love sweet innocent Molly.
Gridlocked provides suspense, hot as sin sex, and romance while giving us a glimpse into what comes next.

Another great one!
Maren Lee has outdone herself this time. Wesson and Molly are the funniest, passionate, most quirky couple that I've read in a while! Seriously, I laughed so hard I woke up my 3 month old. I loved the story line. There was more humor than drama, which I expected nothing less from Wesson and his Wessonisms. You'll love this book!
