She has been in Scotland for the last nine months & plans to stay permanently. She recently learned her sister's rich, handsome husband Sin is actually the leader of a notorious criminal organization called the Fellowship. In order to stay with her sister, Ellison must embrace her sister's dangerous family full of lying, cheating, stealing & killing. She has agreed to become one of them & they will soon be her family too.
In order to become a part of this brotherhood, Ellison will be matched with a man from the Fellowship who will then take responsibility for her & become her husband. Ellison has become close to her brother in law's cousin & best friend Jamie Breckenridge. As they've grown as friends, Ellison has realized she has real feelings for Jamie & wants him to be the one to claim her. She's running out of time & doesn't think he's interested in her. She has no clue he secretly burns for her & wants her to be his.

Endurance is my very first Georgia Cates read and it's a good thing that this one was a standalone. I've seen many of my friends praise her writing and now I know why. I really enjoyed this one. Ellison MacAllister relocated to Scotland to be near her sister and nieces and nephews. Ellison's sister Blue is married to Sin, from previous books, who runs an organized crime called the Fellowship. There are strict rules in the fellowship when it comes to relationships. Ellison will have to be matched with a man from the Fellowship who will take sole responsibility for her and become her husband. The one man who she wants to be matched with is Jamie Breckenridge, Sin's best friend.
Jamie is the Fellowship's physician. Jamie and Ellison have an undeniable connection but Jamie is worried that he wouldn't be able to protect her and serve the Fellowship. Even though it's obvious Ellison wants Jamie, he tries his best to resist her, but the question is how long can he resist her when he finds her to be so irresistible?
With this type of mafia story line I was expecting more, but this turned out to be a really sweet, steamy, endearing read with a bit of action thrown in. And I must say I loved both characters. They were funny, sexy and their bantering was awesome. This was definitely an entertaining read!

4.5 'Into me, you see' Stars
What a truly beautiful and heartfelt story! I love this series, and Sin and Bleu will always be on my Perfect Match' list but Jamie and Ellison were even better! Jamie stole my heart as much as did Ellison! Couldn't have felt their love and devotion for one another more!!! Endurance was absolutely amazing!!!

A fantabulous 4.5 star read!!
First off, do you know how hard I was laughing at the start of this book??? Elli was throwing out all of these innuendos and Jamie sat there like a block of ice. It was freaking hilarious!!! But you could tell that the tenuous hold he had on his control was about to snap and I was thrilled to able to bear witness to the ensuing chaos.
Georgia Cates creates magic. I'm serious. I haven't been disappointed yet. And for that, I'm so thankful. With this book, she's given us suspense, intrigue, subplots, drama, family and so much love. And in the end, once again, I was begging for more!
The writing was exceptional and I loved how fluid each transition between POVs was handled. The characters were very well-developed and had me excitedly rooting for their happily ever after. Shoot, I was trying to come up with plans to help them myself LOL! There was never a doubt as to the depth of love between Elli and Jamie. It was evident right from the start. And nothing, and no one, was going to stand in the way of that. Not even Jamie himself.
I'm wondering when the next book is coming out and how Jamie's sister, Wes, will achieve her own happy ending. She has allowed herself to be a pawn in the treaty with The Order and I can only imagine that her story will also be sinfully delicious and full of mayhem. I'll be anxiously waiting for it.
Recommended for those who love romantic suspense with a side of turmoil.

I love this series like crazy mad. I could re-read the books over and over again and when I realized that Georgia Cates was going to write some spin-off books, well it was like I got the feels all over. I couldn’t contain my excitement!
Endurance is a standalone, but I highly recommend you read the previous books because they are mega good and you will not be disappointed.
This is Ellison and Jamie’s story.
What I love about this series is the brotherhood world. I just get it and I love reading about it. I love the laws, the rules and code of honor. I love how everyone needs to respect it or else. Ellison needs to be claimed and she wants to be claimed by Jamie. The only thing is, Jamie doesn’t feel like he fits the bill.
Gah, doesn’t that melt your heart? I love how Ellison and Jamie have this relationship with each other in the beginning. There’s some crazy tension, but nothing really happens, until now.
Jamie is the doctor and his life is on call basically 24/7. If a brother needs his help, then he has to be there. Jamie feels like his lifestyle won’t protect Ellison.
Ellison disagrees, but what does she do? She takes what scraps Jamie gives her.
I love the dynamic between Ellison and Jamie. It’s very different from the previous books and I really like that. It’s like I get the same tone and feel of the series, but a completely different story. I like how Ellison and Jamie are very adult about things and it makes the book an easy read.
Like I said, I love the brotherhood world and so much goes on in this pretty novel. I really really really love this series and I’m so happy that Georgia isn’t stopping with this book. Oh no, there’s another one!!!! I can’t wait for that one too.

She makes it known to Jamie that she wants him but Jamie tries to distance himself as much as possible since he fears that he won’t be able to protect Ellie from danger even though Jamie is madly in love with her.

As much as I like the romance aspect, I wished the author was able to incorporate the suspense aspect she did in the previous three books. But other than that, this was a very fast paced sweet read and I look forward to see where Georgia Cates takes on the other characters of The Fellowship.

Georgia Cates delivers another great, dark-ish, intriguing mafia tale in “The Sin Trilogy” series. Unlike the previous installment in the series, “Endurance” focuses on another characters, Jamie and Ellison, whom we previously met before and unlike the previous three installments, it can be read as a standalone. “Endurance” was intriguing for the most part, romantic, passionate, fast pace and overall I enjoyed it.
Ellison moved to Scotland from America to be with her beloved sister after their father passed away. She knows with whom her sister chose to marry a year ago and she knows what the Fellowship is, the Scottish mafia. Even if her brother in low is the second in command to The Fellowship she’s happy for her sister because she knows she’s loved and respected by everyone in the organization. Ever since she decided to live in Scotland near her sister, Ellison decided to be part of the Scottish Mafia too. So, soon, Ellie’s brother in low will choose a husband for her, a mate who will have to love and protect her no matter what. But Ellie already find herself a husband. The only problem is he doesn’t seem to return her feelings or even notice her, obviously not to claim her either.
Jamie was raised in The Fellowship. He was raised as a killer, later becoming a doctor who serves the organization being loyal and respected. Jamie wants Ellison. He wants her as his best friend, as his future wife, as his mate, but he believes he can’t have her. Jamie knows the organization has many enemies and believes he can’t fully protect the woman he loves with all his heart, so he’s ready to sacrifice his happiness, their happiness, only for Ellison to be save. Will Jamie be able to give up Ellison or he will realize that he’s the perfect man for her, the only man who can protect her?
I really enjoyed this forth installment. It was filled with action, suspense and steam and I found it to be pretty great despite the fact I expected a little more. Personally, I would have preferred the story line to be a little different. The two main characters’ background were well developed which I enjoyed and their portrayal was pretty well done.
Both Jamie and Ellison were interesting, engaging character I liked from the very beginning. Ellie was a strong heroine and the perfect match for Jamie in every way. Our hero was also pretty great. He was sweet, caring, protective and at times a very endearing alpha-male. loved the connection and the chemistry between these two characters. The loyalty and devotion between them were really great and heartwarming and I love their honesty.
Overall, this was a great addition to the series. If you are looking for a mafia book filled with action, suspense and just a little bit of angst and drama, then this is the perfect book for you.

Well, Ms. Cates has done it again! She’s gone and made me fall in love with the mafia! I loved Sin & Bleu's story and knew that I needed to get Bleu’s sister, Ellison’s story. Well, thankfully I did. And my goodness, it was just as scorching hot as Bleu's. The one man who catches Ellison's eye is no other than the hottie doctor Jamie Breckenridge.
Jamie knows he's not the man for Ellison because she needs someone who will be there to protect her 24/7, but just the thought of another man having her makes his blood run cold enough to kill. He knows he can't have her but his heart says otherwise. And Ellison McAllister is not making things easy for him. Ellison knows what she wants and she goes after it no matter what. Jamie and Ellison were alike in so many ways that they kept making me want to throw my tablet or kept me wishing I could smack some sense into them.
I loved Jaime's plan to "spend time" with Ellison, but he knew that once word got out to Fellowship brotherhood it could blow up in their face. This book was so action packed that I stayed up late just needing to read "one more chapter" until I realized I had finished it. True to her style Ms. Cates had me on pins and needles needing to know what the heck was going to happen. Would Jamie allow one of his Fellowship brothers to have Ellison? Would he finally have some sense knocked into him and claim her? Would Ellison even survive what was about to be thrown her way? So many questions, and YES they all get answered!
Be prepared to ride this mafia rollercoaster that comes with a warning! I can't wait for the next story. ~ Kara, 5 “Thrilling” Stars

I am a huge Georgia Cates fan. I get excited any time she releases a new book. I was super looking forward to reading another addition to the Sin Series. While this isn't about Bleu and Sin, they do star plenty in this book.
While I was looking forward to reading this book, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. The passion and intensity that we received in Bleu and Sin's stories, just wasn't there for me. While I did enjoy the book, it was lacking that passion that I love and that I know Georgia Cates can write!
Elli is Bleu's sister and now that she knows about The Fellowship, the only way she can stay is to get claimed by one of the Brothers, who will go through Endurance for her. She wants Jamie, Sin's cousin to be this man. Over the time she has been there she has fallen in love with him. However, Jamie thinks because he is going to medical school and won't always be there, he can't protect her. So, he will allow another Brother to claim her. However, before that time he wants to spend as much time with her as he can and enjoy the benefits that come with it.
After awhile it really got tiring to read how Jamie thought he couldn't protect Elli but was sleeping with her (while if any Brother found out she would only be considered "fuck-worthy". That didn't seem fair to Ellison. However, she agreed to go along with it. (There were reasons behind it but I can't recall them right now).
Finally, Jamie realizes he can't give up Elli and is going to tell her he will claim her and go thru Endurance for her, but then she and his sister, Westlyn are captured by the new leader of The Order, the rivals to The Fellowship. Jamie gets shot during this and I was thinking, "Oh great. Now he's going to think he can't protect her anymore when he just decided he could." However, that didn't happen so that was one good thing.
I won't give it all away but he does get Elli back safe and sound from The Order. This really seemed like a very short book. It still had an hour to go in my Kindle when it ended. There were other Excerpts from other books at the end of this one.
The epilogue is from Westlyn's POV which basically opens up the next book which is about her and Kiernan, from The Order. (Knew it was coming from the moment he appeared in the book).
Now, that one, I am really looking forward to reading. It is coming next year.

I really enjoyed this story the hero and heroine were so sweet. Their romance was passionate and their love for each other was strong!!
Jamie is the fellowship doctor. Apart of one of the most dangerous criminal organisations in the world!! He is almost always in a dangerous position. Ellison is the love of his life but he fears the he can't protect her because of all the calls he gets as a doctor!
I loved Jamie he was so sweet and I loved his love for Ellison. Ellison was great she was confident and sexy and I could definitely see myself hanging out with her!
The action was really good! I didn't skim any chapters. Secondary characters were great, I'm really interested in seeing their stories come to life!!
If your looking for a mafia read this is definitely for you!!!

Irritating but good
I was waiting for this addition and it was good. I had issues with Jamie and Ellison at times. I just wanted to pound their heads together and call them names.
Jamie was sexy as hell but dumb as a door nail! For a doctor he sure was dumb! You are part of a crime syndicate and you don't think you can protect your girl?!? You are like one of the top dudes too?!? I thought that was a lame excuse, just couldn't buy it. He was sexy and hot!
Ellison well I wasn't too mad at her but she just did whatever Jamie said and he did hurt her, but she just kept going back.
Blue and Sin are going strong...love those two!
The best part of the book is what is going on with Westlyn. I cannot wait to read that one! She is an interesting girl and I can't wait to get inside her head!

If you are like me, you are a book hoarder. You buy the pretties because they're on sale, or even better, FREE. You buy the pretties cause they have a sexy cover. You buy the pretties because everyone says you should read it. You have a million justifications for buying the book and you end up with *cough* quite a few *cough* on your shelf and Kindle that you will probably never get around to reading cause there is just so stinking many of them (I'd never tell my Hubs that though). And you probably end up with several by the same author and you keep moving her (or him) up the TBR knowing you WILL get to one of their books. Georgia Cates is one of those authors for me. I have several of her books and each time I get a new one by her, I move her up the list. Well, THE TIME HAS COME! I read one of Georgia Cates books yesterday and I'm so disappointed in myself for not reading her sooner because I really enjoyed this!
This is the story of Jamie and Ellison. Jamie is the doctor in The Fellowship, which is a mafia-like organization. Ellison is the sister of the second in command of the group. For Ellison to be able to "join" The Fellowship she has to marry one of the members and he must go through this endurance thing where he takes a beating to prove that she's trustworthy and he will be responsible for her and protect her. Well, Ellison loves Jamie. Jamie loves Ellison. You'd think there wouldn't be anything else, right? Wrong. Jamie has it in his head that he can't protect her because he's not a fighter or soldier in the Fellowship, he's just a doctor, so he's told Ellison he'll never be with her cause he's willing to be without her to keep her safe. However, the pull is just so strong between them that he devises a plan to be with her before he lets her go. Will he let her go or will he realize he can protect her?
Jamie was great! He was kind and caring and just alpha enough to make me squirm.Ellison wasn't to shabby herself ;0) She was brave and knew what she wanted and went about making that happen. The secondary characters were interesting. I can't wait for Westlyn's book!

5+ stars. I love loved the Sin Trilogy and I am so happy to see that Georgia is continuing the series with other characters; such like Jamie and Ellison! Her writing is impeccable and draws you in. You are captured by her words that you feel all the emotions the characters do: love, joy, anguish, fear, rage, sadness, etc. this is one story you can't put down! I can't wait until Westlyn's story in 2017!

I loved and enjoyed reading this book. I'm going to miss all characters in this book and books before as well but I can't wait to read upcoming book.
I'm glad after struggling with Jamie to make his mind he took the right decision and everything take the place. Ellison is different than Bleu. She is a princess and loved to party and have fun. She left her old life behind and went to Scotland to live with her sister but she didn't know she would find her love there.
James aka Doc, who is cousin of Sin. He is one Hot doctor. Who is lucky to have Elli as partner in the world and life.
At the end I found another " Into me .. you see " it's looks like a Fellowship code between lovers.
I truly enjoyed this book and hopefully you do the same.

This is my first book by Georgia Cates but, by golly, it won't be the last.
I adored this book from the first deliciously-crafted word to the last. Although I haven't read the Sin Trilogy, I had no issue in picking up and understanding the plot, the world, or the characters and damn was that refreshing. A lot of times authors cite books as standalone that are building on characters introduced in other books or series and they turn out to be anything but standalone. I cite Endurance as a perfect example of how to write a spin-off book/series and not skimp on the character development. I didn't feel like I missed out on a thing by not having read the other series first and I applaud the author for the perfect execution of this story.
Jamie is the Fellowship's doctor so he largely avoids any front line action. It's an honorable role to everyone but his despicable mother and I understand his deceased father was unhappy with his life choice, too, having favored him for a leadership role. Jamie suffers under the weight of their disappointment/disapproval and subsequently doesn't feel like he is worthy of Ellison.
Ellison is crushing on Jamie big style but growing increasingly frustrated with his apparent lack of interest. When it becomes obvious that he's as into her as she is into him, she is exasperated at his unwillingness to step up and claim her. Jamie thinks he's doing the right thing because he believes one of his brothers can protect her better, even though the thought of anyone else claiming her is killing him. Ellison thinks he's being downright pig-headed and sets out to change his mind.
I loved both main characters and could relate to their perspectives. They were perfect together! A fantastic team - both personally and professionally. I really wanted to knock some sense into Jamie but I had faith that Ellison could pull it off successfully. Their chemistry was scorching hot and I was so rooting for this couple.
I loved Georgia's writing style and the pace was perfect - it was never overly described and there was no filler and no tendency to skim. It clipped along at a nice steady pace.
The plot was a little on the flimsy side at times but that didn't matter as the relationship was the main focus point and that was pure perfection on a page.
I enjoyed the world building and I'm definitely intrigued to know more. I also enjoyed the secondary characters.
All in all, this was a really great read and I look forward to reading more in this world in the future.

WOW! Talk about intense. I need a strong drink after reading this book. Georgia definitely makes you endure a lot in this story.
First off – let me tell you that really don’t need to read the first 3 books in this series. However, as someone who hasn’t (and now truly regrets that), I strongly urge anyone to read them first. It doesn’t take away from this book in particular. But it does take away from the overall understanding of who the Fellowship is, who The Order is and everything that revolves around that. I get a pretty good broad overview, but can say with 100% certainty, reading the books in order will make this whole world so much better.
Ok. So on with this book. WOW. I am still breathing heavy from the intensity of this book. And yes, I had to write the review immediately because I just need to get all this emotion out. Ellison and Jamie put me through the ringer. Sheesh.

Ellison is not part of the Fellowship but has chosen to become a part of it since she learned about it. She’s been in Scotland for 9 months since deciding to stay there and be with her sister, whom is married to Sin.
Jamie is the physician for the Fellowship and also holds a seat. However, because of his choce in profession, he doesn’t feel that he is suited for Ellison since she is the sister-in-law to the leader of the Fellowship. He won’t be able to protect like she deserves.
Let me tell you, I wanted to slap Jamie so hard quite a few times. Wanting to be her safety above both their happiness is just ludicrous. Sweet but damn. And keeping his feelings hidden, again for her, just drove me nuts. GAH!!
Before I give everything away because that’s what I will end up doing, I will say this. Jamie and Ellison are put through a lot. ALOT!! And none of it’s pretty. And it made me heart go all over the place. But it was damn worth it.
I am very anxious for Westlyn’s book next. But I will be going back and reading the first three so that I am full prepared to understand everything!!!

Once again Georgia Cates did not disappoint. I was hooked from the very first page, and wanted to know desperately, what was in the cards for Jamie and Ellison.
We met Jamie in the Sin Trilogy(1-3), he is the Doctor of the Fellowship, a crime organisation. His role within the fellowship is unique, vital and valued by his brotherhood.
Ellison is Blue's sister and has decided to not go back to the USA and instead, stay and live with her sister and her family. One problem? For this to happen, Ellison needs to be initiated as a member but first of all, she needs to find a man, who will claim her and go through endurance for her. Her eyes are on Jamie and her heart belongs to him.
"I’m as unnoticed as the air around him. I exist. I’m right next to him. And I’m invisible. I’m standing on the corner of Screw This and Keep Pursuing and it’s time to choose which route I’ll take."
However, Jamie does not think that he is the right person for her, and for her safety. He loves her with all his heart but it is not enough.
Will Ellison and Jamie get their HEA? Will Ellison become a member of the Fellowship?
I simply love this series and hardly recommend it to you if you like Mobster stories with hot alphas but also strong heroines. It had it all.

I have loved Jamie through the first three books in the Sin series. The poor man has only had Sin and Leith to really have his back and understand how he sees he fits into the Brotherhood. I couldn't wait to see how he would deal with Ellison and what she brings to his life. Of course, Jamie thinking he's not worthy doesn't always do what best for either Ellison or himself.
Ellison has had deep feelings for Jamie from the moment she met him. She's frustrated with him and doesn't know what to do when he refuses to claim her as his mate. Yet, she jumps at the chance to help him start the Brotherhood infirmary. I felt bad for Ellison because she was so conflicted. She wanted Jamie, but she was so tired of being rejected. Despite that, she still gave Jamie whatever he wanted so she could have whatever time she could with him.
There was never a question, at least in my mind, about these two ending up together. But I began to wonder how long Jamie was going to torment both of them with his damn insistence he wasn't what was best for Ellison. His parents had done such a number on him, making him think being a doctor was less than anything else he could do for the Brotherhood. He lacked confidence and self-esteem when it came to him worth to his brothers, but he finally got with the program and they got their HEA.
Another great addition to the Sin series. If you haven't picked this series, you definitely must.

Ellison has had deep feelings for Jamie from the moment she met him. She's frustrated with him and doesn't know what to do when he refuses to claim her as his mate. Yet, she jumps at the chance to help him start the Brotherhood infirmary. I felt bad for Ellison because she was so conflicted. She wanted Jamie, but she was so tired of being rejected. Despite that, she still gave Jamie whatever he wanted so she could have whatever time she could with him.
There was never a question, at least in my mind, about these two ending up together. But I began to wonder how long Jamie was going to torment both of them with his damn insistence he wasn't what was best for Ellison. His parents had done such a number on him, making him think being a doctor was less than anything else he could do for the Brotherhood. He lacked confidence and self-esteem when it came to him worth to his brothers, but he finally got with the program and they got their HEA.
Another great addition to the Sin series. If you haven't picked this series, you definitely must.

Endurance is the continuation of the sin trilogy and it's the story of Elli and Jamie. The secondary characters needed to have their stories told and more stories are about to come if this book is an indication. I want to read Leith and Lorna's story soon, maybe as a novella since the next book isn't about them. The next story is about Jamie's sister and a guy she is forced to marry. I am definitely reading that. I didn't reveal the guys name because it would ruin the surprise.
I didn't want or need a reminder of what Jamie and Lorna did in the past to be honest. I would have liked it of the author left it at the the teasing of Lorna and Leith's story rather than remind the reader what Lorna did. The book lost major points for that. You didn't see Elli mentioning anything other than the fact that she wasn't a virgin about her past hook ups.
The story was good and some might find it angsty. I didn't, but I enjoyed the jealousy parts of the book. I was expecting more from the book to be honest. I have enjoyed more the other works of the author. This book isn't bad, but I didn't buy the whole of fell for you part. It wasn't the perfect continuation for the series, but it set up the plot for the next couple of books and I liked that. Georgia Cates will definitely get my money.

Ellison and Jamie are star crossed lovers of sorts. He is a doctor for the fellowship who is still going through med school, and all though he wants Ellison desperately he feels he can't protect her. Ellison wants so badly to be claimed by Jamie, but that might not happen. The powers that be aka The Fellowship want to choose who marries Ellison and they don't care is she is happy with the choice or not. Jamie comes up with a plan to have Ellison temporarily, but something is better than nothing. But, once he has a taste what life can be like with her, can he really let another have her? Read and see.
This book had some good angst and some sexiness. But, the story line was too drawn out and most of the book is just back and forth between Ellison and Jamie. 4 amazing Jamie ★★★★! I loved their story. It was everything I hoped for. Jamie was sexy, sweet and alpha rolled into one delicious morsel. I need Leigh and Lorna's story ASAP. I'm excited about Wes and her captive husband to be from The Order.

Another addicting book in the Sin series! Loved, loved, LOVED it!!
Jamie & Ellison were such great match. Every interaction between them was entertaining to watch; the barbs, the glances, the doctor/nurse stuff, the horizontal mambo... They just felt so natural & right together.
Jamie... "Doc" was pretty dreamy, even if I wanted to junk punch him a time or two. So protective, strong, determined & dominant in the bedroom... *le sigh* His attempts to push Ellison away but still keep her close at the same time gave me whiplash. I was thrilled to bits when Leith called him out that! P.S. Really wish his "upsuck" theory would've panned out for him & Ellison!
Ellison... I admired her backbone, her enthusiasm, her ability to handle sticky situations & the way she loved her family. Extremely happy that she never got confirmation on Jamie's past with Lorna. I am so tired of yet another heroine who wants to know about it. Bury that sexual history sh*t. Forever.
So, that marriage treaty at the end... Gah! Can't wait to find out what did happen & what's gonna happen between Kieran & Westlyn!! One-clicking their book, Unintended, as soon as I finish this review. :)

Endurance by Georgia Cates BLEW me away! The intense suspense, the emotion and chemistry was explosive and addicting. Jamie was introduced in the previous books in the Sin trilogy. He is a doctor for the fellowship and Sin’s cousin. Ellison is Bleu’s sister and is a force. She is a strong confident woman and sets her sites on Jamie and is immediately attracted to him. Jamie hides his feeling for Ellison initially but once they do give in to each other the CHEMISTRY is like I’ve never seen or read before! A relationship between these two is complicated because she is the sister of the wife of the leader of the fellowship she needs protection that Jamie feels he cannot give her. The pain & suffering that Jamie endures (literally) to prove his worth as the man that will protect Ellison was so damn emotional and intense! My heart could barely take it! Needless to say I devoured this book and and cannot wait for Jamie’s sister Westlyn’s book next! 5 STARS
