It was clear from installment 1 that the mistress was looney although there was no back story as to why or how. The cheating husband appears to only make a cameo in this edition. I would’ve liked to read about him trying to get his wife back or how he was moving forward with his life. As for Tammy and Chris, there story was bland. This 2nd book seems to fast forward through lots of desirable details.
Honestly this lady was crazy!!!!! She was obsessed!!! But I'm the end I am glad that the wife was able to move on with her life. She got a job in her degree field, found a house, made friends, and even reconnected with her old high school love. And she didn't ask for much in the divorce. She just wanted to move on and be at peace and she didn't keep the kids from their father. This should be a lesson for men and women
The editing and spelling errors in this book was HORRIBLE! Please please please get a new editor. I could not enjoy the book. It could have been a really good story. Part 1 was horrible and I had hopes part 2 was edited better, but no such lick. The errors were misspelled words, using words that were incorrect for the sentence, and using the wrong homonym. I could not enjoy the story.
This book was a solid read. Comparing it to part 1 in this series this one was a lot better. The story picked up and got crazy in this second book.
I knew something was off about Desirae but I was not expecting the plot twist that happen in this book. I’m not going to spoil it but let me tell y’all it was insane to say the least.
One thing that kind of confused me a little bit was the ending chapters focusing on a character that just got introduced in the second book instead of one of the main characters Tremaine. It kind of shifted into a whole entire new story instead focusing more on the main story that was started in book one. I think the book would have been better that way getting more of Tremaines thoughts and perspective after the incident.
If your looking for a quick series to read I would recommend this one. It was a quick read, solid storyline and some crazy twist and turns.
