The book was all about Marco Polo , the famous merchant and explorer. Marco Polo has written a diary and the cats were trying to steal it But Geronimo and his family stop the pirate cats from doing anything. it was a very interesting book filled with facts and I think I learned a lot from this book. the best part was that this was my 2nd comic in the Geronimo stilton series. My favourite character in this book Tersilla because she was smarter than her father Caterdon. Both of them are on the evil side.
my favourite part of this book was when Geronimo was like "Stay where you are you cheese heads" because it was so dramatic and funny and I think it would like an iconic part of the book that its even there in the back part of the book if you know what I mean.

If you're a fan of the fiction books of Geronimo, you'll enjoy the graphic novel series. The artwork is very good and the storyline is both entertaining and educational. A nice book to give to a reluctant reader.

This is the fourth graphic novel in the Geronimo Stilton Graphic Novel series published by Papercutz though it was the first volume I read to my daughters. We totally enjoyed it! In fact this volume is our favorite one and made us consider to read more of Geronimo Stilton’s adventures!
These series of books tell the story of a mouse Geronimo Stilton and his family and friends going into time in history through a time machine to stop the insidious plot of the Pirate Cats. Besides the adventure long the way young readers will also learn about history. As a parent who is teaching my daughters history (among other things) I like that!
In this volume Geronimo and his group goes back to time to ancient China. He is joined his cousin Trap, his nephew Benjamin, Benjamin’s friend Bugsy Wugsy and Budsy Wugsy’s aunt Petunia. They travel to ancient Beijing which was known as Khanbaliq during the Yuan dynasty. The dynasty was of the few foreign dynasty in China’s history and is founded by the Mongol king Kublai Khan. The story is a few generations later since it was about Marco Polo. I learned a lot about ancient China and Marco Polo in this book. I love how the graphic novel will have information panels telling us the history and fun facts along the way.

Following the Trail of Marco Polo is a tale of a mouse who goes on an adventure to save the past. This book had me interested all the way to the end. This book explains history in a whole new and fun way. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys children's fiction and graphic novels.

Read online from Epic. I love that the graphic version is as well done and fun as the original books. My students love them, so I needed to check one out. These mice are very engaging. Text boxes throughout give the historical information expected in a book about a certain time in history.

Another good Stilton comic! The history call-outs were more frequent and entertaining. Plus there were panda attacks!

My son's a big Geronimo Stilton fan. The books of that series are colourful, fun, and the storylines appeal to kids. Winner all around. I personally am not a fan of the "first-person" descriptive style (like I went there, I did this, such-and-such happened to me) but my son doesn't seem to mind it.

Imagine my surprise when he brought this book home from his school library (being a comics enthusiast, this format appeals to me more than the earlier-mentioned Geronimo Stilton books). And guess what: it's still colourful & fun! I really liked the facts & trivia peppered throughout the book: they're really informative!

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for more of these Geronimo Stilton graphic novels! (Uh... for my son, of course!)

This is a fascinating story about Marco Polo and his travels to China. I don't know much about Marco Polo, so despite the time travel and goofy pirate cats, this book offers a bit of education about ancient China and this famous traveler. I especially liked the little extra notes that offer extra info, although they are more of an aside than part of the story. The graphic novel format of this book and the others in the Geronimo Stilton Graphic novels series is great for encouraging children to read. They aren't as easy to read aloud, but our girls really enjoy them.

I haven't read this yet so my rating is based on what my 2 oldest boys have told me. They both enjoyed it and read it quickly...and then kept sneaking off with it when they were supposed to be doing math. They've picked it up several times since and I've overheard them discussing things they learned with each other.

I am NOT a fan of graphic novels but it got one of my I-hate-anything-that's-not-Warriors-or-Harry-Potter boys to read something else. So a point for that.

I'll read it soon and get back to you with MY impressions.

I think that the book was great because of Geronimo Stilton and his friends helping Marco Polo diary/journal. And that the "Pirate Cats" tried to take Marco Polo diary and tried to publish it thereselves. But Geronimo Stilton and his friends stopped them before they put there names on it and it fell into the ocean. And tht Trap ate the earphones/earpieces and thought that it was chocolate and alot of cheese. And that the book was called "Geronimo Stiltonfollowing the trail of Marco Polo" by Geronimo Stilton.

I really liked this book. Since I am a huge fan of Geronimo Stilton and comic books, it was a great mix altogether. It talks about ancient China and travels of Marco Polo. With an exciting chase of Pirate Cats and history mixed together, it turns out that it might be the best Geronimo Stilton graphic novel in the whole series. I enjoyed it very much, and I will be looking forward to any other Geronimo Stilton graphic novels. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about ancient China in a more exciting/interesting way. :)

I personally prefer the Geronimo Stilton books to the comics, mainly because it's such small print and is harder to read for older eyes!
These comics are pretty good. My 8 year old really likes them. They go back in time for each book, and there are historical facts throughout the book.

Disclaimer: This series is another that I have translated, so once again, I'm prejudiced in favor...

Nonetheless, I have to admit that I think the Stilton graphic novels are cute and clever!

Geronimo and his relatives have to stop the pirate cats from publishing that they got the idea of making the bridge that Marco Polo did.
