No Better Love: Hennessy and Santana
They say the best love starts off when you’re best friends first.
Hennessey and Santana have been in each other’s lives and best friends since the two of them were in pampers. Whenever you saw one of them, you would always see the other. What the two of them shared was a friendship, but they loved each other to death. While seniors in high school, they both have dreams of one day being able to get out of the hood. Hennessy’s dream is to become one of the biggest rap starts to come out of Miami, and all Santana wants is for people to sell her art work in their stores that she spends hours creating.
While in high school, a bitter girl by the name of Chanel Lockett, who is head over heels in love with Hennessy does something spiteful to him that lands him in prison for five years. With Hennessy gone and no longer being able to physically be there for Santana, a lot of things take a turn for the worse.
Five years later, Hennessy is back home and him and Santana are no longer able to hide the infatuation that the two of them have for one another. Little do they know that not everybody wants to see them together. Now, a famous rap star, finally being able to make Santana his girl, we’ll found out just how long their love will last before unwanted guests make many attempts to keep the two of them apart.

I swear Diamond Johnson is a BEAST, I fell in love with Hennessy and Santana story. I'm so ready for Chanel to be out the picture that it's not even funny. It's sad how much hate that Kendrick has for Hennessy but still in his face like everything good, and all Hennessy been doing is being a good friend. I swear you have to be careful who you give your loyalty to. OMG I would be glad when they finally off Gio cause he is so grimy and I can't stand him. I really enjoyed this read and can't wait for part 2....

as always, Diamond's writing skills are awesome. Another good read to add to the list. The story of Santana and Hennessey was every young girls fantasy. from the onset of their relationship as best friends from the crib to into their relationship as lovers. a lot of people are envious, so they better watch out. part two is highly anticipated.

I liked this read but there were some editing issues as well as character mix ups. Chanel is one bitter chick and I can't wait for Hennessy to destroy her. She's beyond trifling and I hope little Hazel gives Hennessy all the ammunition he needs. Hennessy should've handled some things differently but he had enough time to get himself together and focus on righting his wrongs. I loved Santana and the friendship she shared with Hennessy. Though she was hard-headed, she learned the hard way everyone isn't who they portray to be. Kendrick is beyond salty and I'm hoping Hennessy doesn't take his change too lightly. I'm ready for part 2 and hoping Hennessy and Santana can get through yet another obstacle and Kendrick and Chanel will get everything they deserve.

This books storyline was really good a bit predictable but good the editing done on this book is just terrible names in the wrong places. It seems as all her books have the same issue .

Short and sweet
As the saying goes friend before lovers. Hennessey and Santana are close friends very since diapers days. Growing up as two peas in pod nothing keep them apart. Hennessey typical a man whore but blocks Santana from any guys coming her way. Hennessey gets caught up and goes to jail, an Santana moves away. A bond stronger than no other Hennessey is out and makes moves to be a rapper and get his girl. Now a big name in the music world Hennessey takes it back home but get the shock when chanel pops up. Can't wait for part 2

OMG this was a great read I loved Hennessey and Santana Love Story. This book start off about Hennessey struggle with hustling and prison life. And being in love with his best friend Santana in a homie lover friend type situation which wasn't address until later. Hennessey was a player who was a womanizer and wasn't interested in a relationship. Chantel Lockett was bitter ex-lover who got pregnant on purpose and kept his baby Hazel who she abused daily she also had a drug problem who was cut off from her rich family because she wouldn't get an abortion. Jealous and pettiness was what lead her to turn Hennessey in to the police that why he served 5 years in prison and she was jealous of Hennessey and Santana friendship. Also to add insult to the injury his best friend Kendrick Who was secretly in love with Santana and messed around with his baby mama Chantel and supply her with drugs. Also while Hennessey was away after graduation she went to Gio graduation party and raped by him and never told anyone but Hennessey and she moved to Atlanta and Hennessey got out of prison. He signed a recording contracts to fulfill his dream to become a famous rapper. And to find finally to claim the one person he always love for life Santana Young to build a relationship with her and have his babies and taking their relationship to the next level. But little did they know Chanel Lockett came out to embarrass him in front of the kids he was trying to mentoring. To tell tell the world about a daughter he never knew he had what kind of mess is that. How will Hennessey react to find out he has a 5 year daughter who Chanel want the world to think he a dead-beat father . That so unfair to the kid that she taking her angry out on.

First let me just say that I was so heartbroken after reading this book that Part 2 is not out yet. I hope that it comes out soon!
‘No Better Love’ was the story of Hennessey and Santana, two best friends who end up falling in love after being practically joined at the hip since they were three years old.
Both Santana and Hennessey are initially dealing with inner conflict that kept them from each other – On Hennessey’s side, he is worried that if he gets with Santana too soon, he will break her heart due to his current way of dealing with females – dogging them out. On Santana’s side, she is also worried about Hennessey’s doggish ways, but she soon begins to explore the possibility of a different guy, Gio, who has expressed interest in her.
Things take a turn for the worst as both Hennessey and Santana are dealt a grievous hand… Read the story to see exactly what happens next.
Overall, I think this was a good story. I honestly can’t wait for Part 2. Diamond Johnson is a seriously good writer. I was truly traumatized along with Santana after her encounter with Gio. I actually thought Kendrick seemed like he had some good in him. Maybe he and Hennessey can resolve their differences in the next book. As far as Chanel, I felt like her character development was kind of rushed and came across as slightly unrealistic. Also, there were grammatical errors throughout the book that I felt should have been eliminated. I loved the fact that Hennessey had a good heart as far as caring about his family and friends.

Awesome storyline I love it Hennessey is a strong male and got his shot together I was so glad when they came together ...This STORYLINE be outrageous and I love it....The CHARACTERS has a special appeal that comes from this office ability to define execute admin account should make you feel them want to know them and put them in your mental that you can't forget I love it when a plan comes together I can't wait to see where this goes Santana is a doll LORDSON to know she has a way of pulling me and holding me hostage out freaking standing

The story was okay, but this needed so much work it was a distraction to what was going on. For the author to have as many books out there’s no reason to have these types of problems. The story was interesting but for Santana to just let Gio get away with that was dumb. I’m not sure just what Chanel plans on getting out of what she did at the ending, but I can only assume that it’s going to bite her in the butt. I’ll follow along with the next one because I want to see just what the author plans to do to make that situation right.

Slow start and a very slow story line....
So this started it out very, very, very slow with an even slower story line but was still good.
Hennessy and Santana seems to be the perfect couple and although they were apart from each other, the reunion was so perfect, but I am ready for some actions, like Chennel and Kendrick. Man these two need a visit a sap from Karma as well as Gio, but let's see how it will be before I can give a full review...

Chanel was so wrong for what she did to Hennessey. I know Gio was going to do harm to Santana. Now Kendrick better stay out of the way. Hennessey and Santana is on a war path. I believe his new found friends are going to be the ones to help him in his situation

Well written with a steady flow. Drama, jealousy and envy with a touch of real life. The author has done a great job of bringing it all together in a great read. Characters are likeable, lovable, and . Issues are believable and realistic.

Hennessey and Santana are cute together. Diamond take on a ride with this. Chantel is crazy who does there child like that. That ending is was crazy I'm definitely reading part 2.

Like the other books of this author's that I've read, I enjoyed this one. I'm starting to get the theme in all of her books where the woman is an insecure damsel in distress with only one other partner than the man she ends up with, while he's always got tons of women
