The book The Whispering Knight is about three children called Susie, William and Martha. They often play in an old barn and suddenly they decided to make a witches brew. They took a recipe of Williams’s father who is a teacher in their village of Steeple Hampden. Soon things went wrong, they had brought an old witch back to life by cooking the witch's soup in the barn called Morgan le Fay. Weird things happened, the children found out they had evoked something dangerous from the past. At a certain point, Morgan le Fay pretends to be someone who owns a company which is active in roadworks, namely Mr. Steel. She ensures almost that the street becomes in the middle of the village instead of on the place of her barn. Is Morgan le Fay going to be defeated anyway?
I was able to understand the most things of the book. I thought it was a great story, but I couldn't always follow it very well. They were talking about cornfields and the stones, but only now do I know what they mean by that. I also thought the book was a bit childish and not so exciting.
If you're not very good at English, I recommend this book because it's easy to understand. It's not a long story either, but the downside is that the story is not so exciting and also very unrealistic.
This book is about 3 children that unconsciously calls angry spirits and a witch. Who lives In an little village Steeple Hampden, those 3 children: Susie, William and Martha. Williams father is a teacher at school in the small village and takes a book with all the recipes then William gets an Idea to make one recipe, they have to collect all the weird things like frog paws. If they have everything, they go to a shed there they do everything in a pan and warm it up and then suddenly there is a old woman in front of the door. She tells that they have done something dangerous and that this had been the place of a witch: Mogan Le Fay and lives here for many years . She also told that she always comes in different forms. She is the bad side of things and wants to destroy everything what good is.
The good about this book is easy to understand from the beginning up to the end with the illustrations of the story but the bad about it is there are some difficult words and phrases and then sometimes I could not follow anymore.
I would like to recommend it to other readers because I think the reader live well in the story with their own imagination with the accompanying illustrations.
When on an early afternoon in the small village of steeple hampden 3 kids by the name of Martha,Susie and William decide to make an old witches brew;something goes terribly wrong and they accidentally summon morgan le fay.morgan is a witch who hasn’t been seen for years, when the children see her for the first time they go to miss hepplewhite for some advice.and that’s where their battle agains’t morgan starts.I won’t spoil the end for those who would like to read the book. I think it’s a really good book,it reads quiet fast and it only has 73 pages;so if you’re in a hurry or you don’t like to read, then it’s a great book.Like I myself don’t like to read,at all and I had no problem reading it all in 1 go.I have read a lot of books for school;but this is a book I actually enjoyed raeding other than that I really don’t have anything negative to say about the book. For my conclusion,I would definitely say it’s worth reading;I have nothing bad to say about this book.but,If you have a little bit off time to spare I would definitely read it.

This book had some difficult vocabularies for me, but I could understand the meaning of these words through reading sentences. I have not finished reading this book yet so want to read the rest of the story by next week. Besides, I want to continue reading books in this winter vacation, especially want to read a fun mystery book.
