As a physical therapist, she’s challenged by the injuries race car driver Grant Carrington asks for help with, including his brooding emotional wounds. She responds to him in ways she shouldn’t—and yet, how can she deny what she feels? Then comes her dilemma—how can she justify healing his body in order to prepare him to risk his life again?
Make-Believe Wife~Kathy Carrington lives to swim competitively—and to prove something to her father. But then she meets Jason, her childhood crush come to life, and finds there are things more important to her. Still, she has to finish what she’s started, to gain that ultimate prize. Would Jason still be waiting when she was done? Did she dare find out?
Promoted to Wife~Terry Yardley is a failure. She failed as an actress, she failed as a girl friend—how is she going to succeed at being a butler to the wealthy Carringtons? It seems hopeless but she’s determined to save her father’s job for him, so she throws herself into it. Rick Carrington has had his share of failure, too, and he’s barely making it as father to his two children now that his ex-wife has died and left them to his care. The struggle must go on, and it seems to draw the two of them together. Now the question is—can their love survive when they both succeed?

The Carringtons
This is the first set of books about the young Carringtons. Each is a stand alone story with HEA endings. Each tells about the family Carringtons and how the met their love interest. Each is unique and can be read alone but there is enough interaction with others this could be called a saga.

Book 1 My Little Runaway :
She was the girl next door that had stolen his heart and runaway. Then a chance encounter, due to her name listed as v one of the sky divers , scheduled to jump out of the aeroplane, next. Can she live in the world of elitist country club socials? Because he definitely didn't fit in her world of weird characters and funky places.
A wonderful story of why some people just don't fit.
Book 2 Wife for a Night:
It was very different from the start, with a woman in the process of "cat nabbing", only to be caught in the act. It developed into an intriguing tale and a wonderful romantic ending.
I truly believe that you would enjoy this story, if you wanted a good entertaining read.
Book 3 Too Scared to Breathe:
Grant Carrington, racing car driver, is now a shell of his former self, due to a leg injury, which by medical standards should have in a wheelchair. A chance encounter, with Carrie, a young trained physical therapist, seeds the idea that although he isn't where the doctors said he should be, he may further assistance to beat his injury.
Off course, there is a romantic pull between Carrie and Grant, which makes for sizzling reading.
Book 4 Make believe Wife
A chance encounter with a drunken Jace, previous 3 gold medal Olympic swimming great, who used Kathy Carrington, as an excuse to loose two dippsy blondes at a party Kathy had been forced, by her swimming coach, to attend, in an effort to fund raise for attempt at the next Olympics.
Obviously, an impression was made, because Jace began a relentless assault on Kathy's defenses, to allow more than friendship to develop. Due to Kathy's grueling training regime, she foebs Jace at evrry turn, although against her true feelings.
You need to read the author's story to fully appreciate the full picture. It is great story!
Book 5 Promoted to Wife:
A young woman, Terry, helping her injured father out, acts as butler to the Carrington family's elderly monarch. However, plans were changed, due to the elderly man catching the flu, and Rick Carrington was the person Terry had to convince that a woman butler was possible.
Off course, there is a buzz between Rick and Terry, which Terry, especially tried to deny.
Read this funny and endearing tale, which will no doubt give warm fuzzies, as a love story with a HEA.
Book 6 Not the Marrying Kind:
The ending to two romantic stories, within this one book.
The undercover Cop, Michael meets his match in Shelley Carrington. A short and torturous relationship, with much denial and fleeing, only to be caught in a HEA scenario.
The stinecond romance has been carried through each book, that of Tag and Mickey, but you best read the book to get the full story.
Another glimpse into the lives of the Carrington's of Destiny Bay.
