A Look In The Mirror is a short allegory. A look in the mirror produces an image that only she can see, something she wants to destroy. Herself. However, as she seeks to destroy that which is most precious, an intervention takes place. Will she changes how she sees herself forever?

So short as to be almost terse, this story's stark, yet dream-like quality has remained embedded in my mind since the first time I read it. Two images stand out - the girl seeing the horror in the mirror...and the harsh violence of her actions crossed with another's choice. It is a thought-provoking read, and one that made me realize again exactly how directly my choices impacted my Savior, while simultaneously reminding me what He sees when He looks at me.
