The Principle Circle

Rate this book
We are all in a fight in some sense in life. And many of us do not feel like the odds are in our favor. We look at others and believe that if we had their circumstances, then things would be different. But we rarely need, and rarely get, a change in circumstances. What we need, is to train a new normal. I have found principles to be some of the strongest guidelines in my life. During a period of extreme financial duress, I found myself thinking about principles as the ropes on a boxing ring. The ropes not only keep you in the fight, but they can propel you back in with much greater force. This book is my answer to developing real mental the ability to live according to principles regardless of circumstances. When we move in that direction, all bets are off in life.

The is an great book. It gets a little of the topic and at times repetitive but a great book none the less. The main idea is to keep yourself within your principles. To live by principal and not emotions. Confidence is a feeling..being a hard worker, disciplined and a positive person are principals. You can always live by principle instead of by emotions. Let principals guide you, especially in times of crisis and indecision. Trust your gut, it usually knows the way. Some great quotes

1- We don't need more knowledge. We need to do more with what we know
2- What is interesting in life, we dont sink to the level of our training, but the level of our deepest heart beliefs.
3- Choosing to equip your team through questions instead of instructing them through statements.
4- Dont limit your greatness for the stability of a check. Jobs can fill your pockets but dreams can fill your soul.
5 - Preach the Gospel at all times. When necessary, use words.
6 - A life of vulnerability is a life of courage
A life of vulnerability is a life of truth
A life of vulnerability is a life of growth
A life of vulnerability is a life fully lived
