I enjoyed Jonah's POV much more than Evelyn's. Yes, she's definitely "innocent" but that also does not mean she should let Jonah run her over emotionally.

So initially I was like okay, this is the same story, only told through the eyes of Cane. Thinking it was the whole story just regurgitated and changed up so that it's told from his side. While it is the same story, there is so much more to it than what you think. It made me understand why he did what he did a little bit better. So while it is a re-telling in a way it really does add to the whole story. Especially when it comes to that vile woman, Vivienne, who by the way I can't stand! I sincerely hope she gets what's coming to her.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series. I really need to find out if Jonah can forgive Evelyn (Evie) and if they'll reconcile. Most importantly, I need to know what becomes of Vivienne, that's just my sick and twisted side coming out. Because I really want to see that train wreck!

This is the perfect compliment to Evelyn's side of the story and you will get further into the story when you read Jonah's POV.

Cane was such a great read! I really enjoyed having a chance to read the story from Jonah’s point of view. He was surprisingly deep. I was worried how it would play out but it was great to get that point of view. I enjoyed finding out about his job, his employees, and his coworkers. There was a lot more to Jonah than what we saw in Evelyn’s eye. Jonah really meant well but just had a rough way or showing it. I felt myself get excited when there were things that we saw from Evelyn’s point view and there was confusion on how he was feeling or what he thought. I totally recommend reading this book!

Enjoyable companion to the first book

I really enjoyed the first book, written from the point of view of the female protagonist, further clarified by this book, explaining the mysterious and sexy hero's point of view. Very graphic yet romantic. This is not a stand alone book.

A different approach that will shed light on the main characters trail of thought. It gives the reader the opportunity to explore in depth the his perspective. A nicely woven story that adds fulfilment but also a whole new angle to the story line.

Really good series!! Perfect amount of Erotica Romance, suspense, action and drama! The male character is a little over whelming but the Female Character can put him in his place! Read this series in a total of less than a week! Very addictive

Too wordy

Not sure if that's a word or not, "wordy." This book was word for word his version t the end of the last book in Evelyn's version. Too much, but just my opinion. If it was shortened, I would have graded it five stars

I liked the first book “The Darker Side of Cane” and after reading Jonah’s POV, I love it. This book gives you a better understanding of Jonah, how he sees things and his secret desires. If you have not read the first I would highly suggest you do so, this book just rounds it off for me. I am looking forward to more books from this author in the future.

Oh Cane why can't you be real. I love reading books from the males POV. I can't remember how many times I was reading the first book and wondering what the heck is he thinking. For example...Vivianne. Seriously what a psycho. Ahhh I love this book!
