Some women shouldn't have children. Za'adore mother had a addiction and didn't give a damn about putting her in harms way with Kane sick ass. Avian became so smitten with Za'adore and tried to keep her protected from his father that he slipped. He should have been paying better attention to his surroundings because Charmayne was plotting. Nadege mother was a evil ole witch. I hope somebody beat her ass for what she was doing to her daughter and grandson. I understand that was hurt when she found out who Kemori really was but she shouldn't have allowed her pride to get in the way. Kemori can not help who he kin to. He really have some love for Nadege and her son. Nadege have a delusional, trifling, and trash ass ex. I was pissed the way this ended and I hope Kemori make it in time.
And it’s that I waited almost two years to read this book! Now I cannot rest until I finish the series!
I can’t say that I have ever been a fan of the kidnapping trope, but this book had me hooked the moment Kane and Avi bust down Za’Adores front door! From their first meeting I was kind of hoping that Janey and Bennie couldn’t come up with the money because I wanted to see a better life for Za’Adore and I had a feeling it would come with Avi.
I loved almost everything about Kem, minus the way he treated Stacy Ann. I really wanted to love Nadege and for the most part I did but her insecurities really bugged me when it came to Kem.
With everything so up in the air with every relationship in this book, not just romantic ones either, I am diving straight into part two because I know I won’t rest until I see this series through to the end.
I was locked in from the beginning! This book so Good , I finished it in one day . I love Kem and the fact that he was a no nonsense type of man , and he did not play about Nadège. Nadège was working my nerves, being naive but then I had to remember she was. I felt so bad for Za’adore because her mom left her for dead. I’m on the fence about Avian , and I can’t believe how this book ended ! I forgot all about Sam, but I hope Kem get to Nadége. Very good read I highly recommend.
I didn't realize the connection at first but I got it. But Oh my I can't wait to see what will happen next!! I can't believe her trif. Mom either one of their mom, none of their moms fr. Smh I hope what's about to happen isn't as bad as it can be!
I always enjoy Tina's work. This book so damn good from start to finish....full pf drama ..suspense...sex..lies...you name it! Im headed to one click part 2 asap!
I didn't like Nadège and Za'adore's mothers. They put them in the worst predicaments. Avian is crazy and I hope Nadège gets away. Sam was definitely wrong how he did Za'adore, but he will get what's coming to him. I like Za'adore and Kemori together. I can't wait to see what happens in part 2.
This is some modern day brothel sister wives nonsense I swear lol butttt the book was good none the less. I really like Kemori he wanted nothing to do with his father’s name but he really loved Nadege
O my goodness that ending was crazy, Kem needs to hurry up and get there! I can't believe the mothers in this book! Kane needs to be castrated! On to book 2 I have to see what happened!
This one had me reading but it needed a bunch of work because the story didn’t flow and it was hard to connect with the characters. The ending was enough to pull you into the next one but I doubt I’d read it if it takes a minute for it to come out.
It explains a lot of what happens to a lot of young girls that grow up in broken homes. I love the characters I’ll admit I’ve been sleeping on some authors but I’m glad I read this book!
This book is definitely a must-read this family here. All I'm gonna say is OMG. These girls, the bestie Za & N (yes, I shortened their names), their lives is just crazy they just can't win. This book is really good, but now on to pt2. I know it's going to be good, too!
Oh Wow! I absolutely loved this story. So many twist and turns. This author kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I absolutely love me some Kemori, he just screams in charge! But judging by the ending everyone has to pay …headed to part two!
This book will definitely have you on the edge of your seat and I’m here for it all!! Once you start this book you won’t be able to put it down! Heading to part 2 NOW!!!
Omg I can't wait for part 2 already!!!!! I'm just glad bae (phantom) had a little appearance. Even with the few errors this book was good hopefully everyone is ok
There was plenty of drama in this book, but I found myself skipping a few pages to get to the point. All that stuff happened and they still haven't graduated
This was a great book. It left me wanting more. I love the characters. 1st time reading this author and will definitely read more of her work. Good job!!!
This is my first read by this author and I can’t wait to read more! I’m not really big on drama filled books, but baby the drama in this book is like a domino effect that’s never ending! Ready to start part 2 asap because I’m anxiously waiting to see what happens next.
That cliffhanger brought tears to my eyes!! This was a great read and different from regular urban books. Sam and Kane are evil and their karma needs to get them and get them good! Man the main characters all carried hardships but from different walks of life. You had the poverty and drugs hardships down to issues of power and control. I enjoyed this read!
