1-star ***SPOILERS below Sexual History***
Started skipping pages after 60% coz lacked romance & didn't like the characters. Both were shallow & immature. Hated the use of anal sex as the measure of h's trust in him & the depth of their romance. No lasting character growth (i.e., H may be monogamous at the current time with h but will likely stray or leave her when married life becomes monotonous). Lacked emotional pull & emotional depth. Lust-based relationship. Their attraction was purely about sex & their physical attraction. No talk or POV re: other attributes they liked about the other or anything deeper than sex to hold their romance in place. Average S chem & detailed bareback S scenes. HFN.
Sexual History:
22yo virgin h had some foreplay experience up to 3rd base/oral in college but no serious relationships. She's had a big crush on her parents' ranch manager late-30s H since she was a kid & he was 22yo. But he never viewed or treated her as anything other than his boss' kid. Until years later when she came back from graduating from college & began working at the front desk of her parents' dude ranch. Then, he couldn't stop thinking sexually about her & knew she reciprocated the attraction. One(?) day after seeing her as an adult, he self-pleasures at the creek knowing she was watching behind some bushes. At Day 2 (or 3?), H de-virginizes h. For the next week, they conduct a secret affair at H's work-paid cabin since h's parents wouldn't have approved & would've fired H for it. They try to avoid each other, after h's housekeeper found her tiptoeing back home from oversleeping at H's cabin 1 morning. But a few days later, they smex in secret. But her father somehow finds out & fires H. H leaves & then comes back the next day with a marriage proposal for h. H was a known player with lots of hookups throughout the years. No serious commitments for him until h.

These two were made for each other and their feelings develop quickly. Colton has never felt this way for anyone and Emmy has never stopped having feelings for Colton. They see each other whenever they can, but there is always the concern of getting caught by Emmy's parents.

This is the third book from Parker Grey I have read. It is always very difficult to write a new book because the readers have expectations. And mine was high!
But Parker Grey without doubt did it again. It is just as great as the two first books. I just love the way the stories are build and that the book from the beginning has a way to capture you so you just have to keep on reading.
I enjoyed this book very much. Love the virgin/cowboy theme.

Emmeline and Colton's story is beautiful and very hot. Emmeline comes home from college to find her old crush working at the ranch again. After she keeps showing up where Colten is he finally gives in to her and they both fall madly in love with each other.

I also appreciated that he was just a regular guy, not some gazillionaire. Emmy was also a great character and I thought they were a great match for one another. But Colton, seriously? As a friend of mine used to say, just throw me down and call me Sally!

Emmy is a recent graduate from college with a graphic design degree who is home for the summer on her family's ranch looking for a job and working. Colton is an older man who works for Emmy's parents as the forman on the B&B dude ranch her family own and run. Emmy has always had a crush on Colton since she was a teenager so now that she is home again all her feelings are returning. After I graduated college and while looking for a job, I work for my parents on their ranch. I don't want to but it is good money.....AND I will have the chance to show off the woman I have become to the only man for me. He is also working on my parents ranch (which is a bed and breakfast type of thing) as a ranch hand. I have never wanted something or someone so much ever. I am 22 years old, yes he is a bit older than me, but I don't care. He is it for me, and he will be the one I lose my V-card to. Someone just walked in and I need to greet them, Oh Em Gee, it's him, it's the delicious Colton.
Hi I am Colton, and I am back to working on the Saddles & Spurs ranch, it is good pay, and I have a cabin just for me. It is nothing bur one room, but it is enough for me. I hear that the sweet little Emmy will be back on the ranch this summer. I can't wait to see her again. She was always a cutie, wait now who is this behind the desk. This can't be Emmy, this is a woman, with curves. Oh hell, it is Emmy. I start thinking of all the things I want to do and what I could do to/with her.....wait, she needs a good boy for her, and I am not good and I am not a boy.
(Colton) On the ranch there are rules to follow, such as no alcohol by the workers, no profanity and definitely no having relations with the boss' daughter. Colton is amazed when he sees Emmy again. The little girl has grown into a hot women he has problems resisting. However she is so nice and innocent and shouldn't have anything to do with his dirty desires. If her father even thinks he is interested he will be fired and blackball from every ranch around. Emmy makes it very clear that though she was innocent, she is up to every dirty desire he has. She is made for him and they both fall in love.
This is a hot steamy story with lots of sex and feelings. I really loved both characters. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

This is a fun, fast and very steamy read and is well worth the money.
The attraction between Emmy and Colton is so strong you can feel the heat - and boy does it sizzle. I liked both main characters, the book was well written (and edited), the plot was interesting and had good pace. Whilst there were a LOT of hot sexy scenes there was also plenty of story inbetween to keep you interested.
Normally a book has to really tug at my emotions to score 5 stars, and this is a little too lightweight for that, However it was one of the best books I have read of this genre. The sex scenes in this felt loving and hot, not a cheap excuse for pornography as some books seem to be. I struggle with those books where the kink involves embarrassing/humiliating the submissive partner, so I really liked how Colton treated Emmy in this.
The attraction between Emmy and Colton is so strong you can feel the heat - and boy does it sizzle.
