Seriously could this Matt be ANYmore of a wanker??? All he does is leave and then crawl back.....I would have totally taken Lori up on his offer to marry her when she found out she was pregnant with Matts child (yep you guessed it,she found out after he removes himself from her life)
What a complete Fuck-wit!!!
Then my favourite Brady tells Nat that she's not his family (even thou she lives with him)
Arsehole-itis must be spreading. Then Matt crawls back like he always does and doormat Sami takes him back! For such a bitchy character she comes across kinda weak! At least Nat made Brady work for it alittle (even moving out and making him beg her to come home)
There's meant to be another one in the series but I think I may have hit my quota for Matt the shit who keeps coming up smelling of roses!

So much back and forth with the relationships. One minute semi happy then the next no talking. In this book it's revealed to Sami about Matt and Tandy at the Christmas party. She never brings it up to him. That's the party in the first book his dick gets inserted in Tandy's vagina while he's drunk. No not much thrusting happened since he was getting sick and eventually threw up. I wonder if he hadn't thrown up if he'd have finished. They made light of the shower blowjob Tandy gave him. Saying he had soap in his eyes Etc. It's almost like they're making it seem like if anyone guy or girl would have been sucking him off he'd have still let them. No! You push the person away. You tell your girl that some chick tried to fuck you while you were drunk at a party and that she actually did sit on your dick. How can people not care enough about their well being to get that drunk? What if she was looking to get knocked up for money or she has a disease? Why have no control over your body? I don't get it. I've never had the desire to drink but I sure hope to always be aware of what my body is doing. I kept waiting for Tandy to reappear and mention the party. Natalie and Brody's relationship was just as complicated. At least once they got together they were together. So glad this is over.

Bed Buddies was the third book in the Puck Buddies series by Tara Brown. The first two books in the series had to be read prior to Bed Buddies as it was a continuation of the same characters.

I’ve taken a break from formal reviews for a while, but a couple thoughts: This third book in the series was the culmination of the first two books regarding Matt/Sammi and Brady/Natalie. The plot continued where the previous book left off but highlighted some key passages from the past. Overall, I struggled with this series; however after completing this third book, it’s possibly a realistic view of how the insanely affluent live. Albeit, depressing, but possibly accurate. I didn’t struggle with the writing - it was well written and well developed. Additionally, I liked the first epilogue (Brady’s), but felt Matt’s epilogue needed more in the future. Lastly, I struggled with the characters and the plot line. If you are looking for a clear cut, feel goods, little conflict, learn from a minor mistakes book, then this isn’t the series for you. If you don’t mind some major mistakes, unsound logic and decisions, and messy lives, then this series is for you. It’s real. It’s frustrating. In the end, however, you start to feel like they can actually make it. I wanted to see more of the success - it ended a little too quickly without more positives, but all in all, it was riveting and you could start to see a possible HEA.

4.5 stars!

I've really enjoyed this series and was really excited when this book was announced. I bought it and then sat on it for 5 months. I loved Bed Buddies, but it wasn't without its faults. But lets talk about what I loved first. Having a book told from both Sami and Natalie's points of views was brilliant. It was like reading two books at once, and since the timelines of both stories coincided, it was really enjoyable. I loved how easily the book captured my attention. I also loved the way I laughed and cried.

I've always loved Sami and Matt a little more. I mean both are damaged and so trust and love don't come easy to them. I thought they'd figured out how to be with each other, truly be with each other, but nope. They continued on a really rocky path and there were times when I didn't think they were going to make it. And that was really rough. Sami too had her moments. I mean in Puck Buddies it became clear Sami was a really good person at her core. So she did and said somethings that didn't necessarily contradict that, but straddled the line. And Matt too. But the two of them have chemistry that just does not quit!

Natalie and Brady were great. They too had some rough patches, but I feel like they were more because they got really involved with what was happening between Sami and Matt. And honestly, why wouldn't they? They are more like siblings, less like best friends with each other respectively. I loved how dedicated they were to their best friends, and I'm glad they didn't lose sight of each other in the process.

So now coming to the things that annoyed me. While I loved having both Sami and Natalie's points of view, there were some flashbacks throughout the book. Now I know having two points of view is complicated, but there were times when even when I looked at the header on the chapter with the date and name of the character and it didn't compute, so if I got lost I'd have to go back and read it again. A lot of this is my fault. I do wish Tara had given Sami and Natalie their own distinctive chapter headings. Other than that, there were times when I really wanted to smack some sense into Sami and Matt and to get them to stop trying to one up each other.

All of that being said, I am super excited there is supposed to be a fourth book in this series. I am hoping all of the characters will redeem themselves in that book. I am also hoping Tara Brown will write a book featuring Beverley, Matt's cousin. She's hilarious and a strong female. It'd be interesting to see who she ends up with. And I loved the scenes when Matt, Sami, and the gang went to visit his grandmother. She's another woman I'd love to read more about. Another surprise was the change in Sami's parents. I mean they were completely despicable in Puck Buddies, but it was great to see them be good and kind parents.

So overall, the book was great. Make sure you're patient with the characters. There maybe times you want to hit them, but they do get themselves together. Tara Brown really does not disappoint with Bed Buddies and I want more!

LOVED IT! The second half was my favorite because that's when we got into the meat of the story and it was bloody fantastic!
I'm so excited there's going to be more from these awesome characters!!!! Tara Brown...I bow to your savage, angst-filled, pucking-loving skills. Now, I'm blowing you a kiss...please catch it on your vagina. :D

I have loved this whole series it doesn't surprise me that I read this book in a day (it also helped that I didn't have to work today). Getting to see both couples back together was great but it was also a huge roller coaster of drama and feelings. Now I have to wait for the fourth book to come out this summer, here's hoping that summer mean early June!

Ok. I have major mixed feelings on this book. First, I'd like to say that I read Roommates in 2015 and freaking LOVED it. I fell for Natalie and Brady so hard. ❤ them. I didn't even realize there were two more books to this series until late at night while scrolling on amazon.

Here's the thing. I didn't really remember Sami and Matt too much from Roommates, so when I saw that the next book out, which is now the "first" book in the series is for them. I was confused but interested. Until I stumbled upon a slight SPOILER which happens to be a big trigger, no-go for me. Cheating. So here's where I gotta be honest, I skimmed Puck Buddies. I needed to see for myself but I also wasn't fully committed. Because of this, I won't be rating or reviewing that book as I don't think it would be fair of me since I didn't actually read the whole thing. I will say that what I did get from it was a better understanding of the dynamic between Sami and Matt and, for now, it was enough for me. I will most likely go back and reread all three books in their 'new' order at a later date though.

Ok, back to Bed Buddies. This book is told from Nat's and Sami's pov's in alternating chapters until the very end, where we get two amazing epilogues from Matt and Brady's pov. ❤

I still freaking LOVE Brady and Natalie. Every chapter from Nat's pov was my absolute favorite! I loved seeing how they were doing a while after the ending from their book. It was awesome, even though the drama that was going on in this book was serious stuff. It was nice to see a couple dealing with issues that are real life and realistic and still come out on top in the end. It made their hea that much sweeter. Plus the steamy scenes were on point ;)

For Sami's pov, I had mixed feelings. Her's starts out a year in the past and each chapter works its way to the present, while Natalie's is constant present. It got a little confusing at times, but not too bad. I have to say that while I felt for Sami and the things her and Matt went through, I wasn't as big a fan of their part of the story. Sami was definitely a snob, but in the nicest way. I wasn't sure how to really feel about her. Matt was a big jerk for a lot of the book and it was hard to see him as redeemable. They seriously lacked communication in a bad way, and a lot of their problems could have been worked out sooner, or even avoided altogether, had they talked to each other, and let the other in. I know they were both scarred inside and had trouble lowering their walls, but at some point you have to either give in or walk away. I was very pleased by the end though with how things were mended and concluded.

There were a lot of funny parts in this book, as well as heartwrenching moments and times I was pissed at one or more of the characters. There were steamy parts and swoony parts. I have to admit I swooned most with Brady, but I might be biased since I ❤ him ;) Overall, I think this was like the best extended epilogue ever lol. I liked seeing where they all were in the present and the best part by far were the two epilogues in the guys pov's. Those just made the whole book for me. And if I hadn't already come around to liking Matt, his pov would have sealed the deal. As for Brady's... ❤❤❤❤❤

so after reading all three books (as is currently available in the series) I concede I should have read book 2 (roommates) followed immediately by 3 (bed buddies). I regret that i read the books in order of 2, 1 and then 3. book 1 (puck bunnies) is a prequel and helps fill in the curiousity of Sami and Matt's early relationship, which I think wouldve been fine to have either read first, last, or possibly not at all.

bed buddies, book #3 is told by Natalie and Sami's POV and until chapter 20 are told covering different time lines. Sami covers her time during book 2 and Natalie's covers present day. due to Sami's POV from the previous year I wish I had read from book 2 to 3. with a better memory it wouldve been easier for me to match up Natalie's POV from book 2 to Sami's in book 3.

book 3 is the conclusion of Sami and Matt. though there are some ripple effect bumps that touch Natalie and Brady's relationship, the roller coaster ride is mostly for the stubborn Sami and Matt.

The author chose a unique approach with the dual POVs of the two girls. it was a bit confusing with the 2 time frames but once I realized Sami's was the only one in the past it was easier for me to grasp the stories. Sami's story is her fight for control over her public/private image, her career path, and her relationship with Matt, while helping her best friend Natalie break free from her domineering mother and douche boyfriend William. with those subjects only skimming the surface the author does a fantastic job with the pacing of the story in The dual POVs. I was never bored or super annoyed with the characters even though Sami and Matt are sooo pigheaded at times.

there's also a couple other relationships (Mike and Liz, and Carson and Rich) within their friends circle that are in the periphery. I wonder if they will star in their own books. Tara Brown does a great job of creating this world of characters and the friendships, and using those friendships to help the main character.

---
highlighted trigger memory:
- Matt's confession during his second proposal with the ring.
- the princess and pauper concept and the strengthening of her partnership with Natalie
----
Sami - I think he’s trying to be real and I’m trying to be fake and we’re just awful.

Matt to Sami (which makes me think in my make believe world it could've been Rhett to Scarlet) - "You aren’t going to date anyone else, because you love me, Sami Ford. You and that tiny little stone of a heart, are mine. I love you and you love me, as much as your cold fucking heart can love another person."

I love the entire series and can't wait for book #4! Summer can't get here fast enough! I found a new author's closet to ravage through. This series entices you to go to a hockey game and steal a cute hockey player! Jk, but almost...if it weren't illegal.

I recommend this book to anyone who is a romantically, crazed reader!

I enjoyed this series. All of the ups and downs and drama creating a winding journey that kept the reader engaged from start to finish. I was first attracted to this series for the sheer aspect of it being a hockey story, but it is so much more. This series is the struggle between overcoming social norms, learning to love when you were never shown how and learning to grow up and become an adult from the elite class.

Sami has to learn that money cant fix everything. Don't get me wrong it definitely helps, but when tragedy strikes throwing money at something wont make the problem go away. Sami has had to grow up a lot in this book as a result.

Nat has changed drastically since the beginning of the series. She has learned to find things that make her happy and not follow blindly by what her mother and society thinks is best for her. She found love in Brady, but it isn't always an easy one. She stands by her best friend through think and thin.

Matt and Brady have made a lot of mistakes in this book, mostly Matt. He does what he thinks is best and necessary, but hurts the woman he loves in the process.

I enjoyed this series and cant wait for the fourth book to come out!

This was my fifth Tara Brown book in a row and it did not disappoint. This was the 3rd book in the Puck Buddies series and it did not disappoint. It takes place in a time line intertwined with the first two books. Like the first two books it also has dual perspectives but instead of having the perspective split between a couple it is split between two best friends the female counterparts of the couples featured in the two novels in the series.

The time line at times could be a little confusing because you were jumping in big gaps of time back and forth between "current day" and back in time from the time of the initial agreement between Sami and Matt. None the less though I fully enjoyed the book and found myself finishing it quite quickly and was quite pleased to learn there was a fourth book in the series coming out though I haven't been able to find a release date yet.

I will still say though Nat and Brady are my favourite couple of the two I did begin to fall for Sami and Matt just a little but more!

Great read

Had a hard time at first keeping up with the flashbacks in time, but as the story developed it was better to follow. I felt like killing Matt in many parts of the story but I read on and understood his thought process. He almost lost his true love but with the communication that should he been there first, he won her back. The trip to Henderson seemed to be the turning point. Loved how the romance came full circle in the end. Excited to read about how the daddies will turn out in the next one!

Book 3 follows both Sami & Matt and Natalie & Bradley. Both couples run into some serious road bumps in their relationships, some a bit more permanent than others.

This book leaves both couple’s end in a bit open still, not quite a HEA. I hope that we still see them in book 4, even with us following a new couple in that book.

I can't believe this book made my cry! I wish it had been written chronologically, instead of flipping between past and present, because it was hard to keep up with, at times. It flip flopped between Blake/Natalie and Sami/Matt. Sami and Matt remained a bit snobby, while Blake and Natalie stayed grounded (most of the time).

I liked the format of this book, the two points of view starting at differing points in time and slowly coming together to tell a consecutive story. I like that we were given a bit of background for Natalie and Brady’s story while also growing the relationship between Sami and Matt. If there’s a sequel written based on either of these couples I will read it.

This book was all over the place. It was like the author wrote out all her notes of what she wanted to have happen and then made each one a chapter. It was so hard to follow the timeline bc it was all over the place. It would be a better book if in future edits it is just organized chronologically. Jumping between flashbacks and current is fine, as long as each timeline stays in order.

This series of books is fabulous. I read the second then first and finally this one. Yes you have to read all three. It doesn't really matter on the first two which one you read first. I loved all three.

I really liked Roommates and was hoping this would be as funny and engaging, but it fell short. The characters were difficult to distinguish between, the drama was bordering on ridiculous, and the plot was weak, even the sex scenes felt forced and awkward. Not enjoyable.

I started this book as soon as i finished with Roommates and finished it in jus few hours. It was amazing to see into Sami and Nat's minds. So many things made sense and i laughed and cried. I really enjoyed it especially towards the end and can't wait to read more in this series!

The timeline is a mess

As much as parts of this story made me cry, the first half drove me insane with the time jumps. Half is taking place during Natalie's book/book 2, and half in the present. Matt's storyline seemed sort of convoluted. I have a lot of mixed feelings.

Whew!

Ok...where to begin? I happened across the first book in this series and totally fell in love. I loved the complete wit and charm with Nat and Brady's love story. I laughed so much I read it twice. When the second one came out it kind of through me for a loop. It wasn't as clear cut and wrapped up as nicely as Natalie's story but by the time I surfaced for air at the end of the book...I too enjoyed that story just as much but in a different way. Respectively it was perfect though. Sami is such an extreme character she needed equally qualifying extreme moments. Books 1 and 2 left me hungry for book 3. It was released and I drove in!
For me 3 was a very bumpy ride as a reader. It had been months since reading the second book in the series so that could have contributed to my confusion but I have a solid memory. Regardless because Tara is such an excellent writer weaving a fun and at times intense story with the perfect balance of humor undecided to stick it out. My problem was following the time line. She jumps back to stuff in book 1 and 2 and then the present that it just confusing and hard to follow. So believing in her storyline and trusting her as an author I kept going. So glad I did. It turned around for me and straightened itself out about 60% of the way through so I could once again keep up. It finished well and I just fell in love with her characters more. I'm hoping something becomes of Lori. We just kind of met him and that little guy is so enduring. Anyway, 4 stars for the crazy time jumping but since all 3 books are out it may be easier to follow since you can eat them up consecutively with out waiting gaps. Loved it and am looking forward to this gang in book 4. :)

Really love this series and really love Tara Brown's hockey hunks. This book must be read in order and after reading this one i do recommend all three books be read in order and if possible one right after the other.

This one picks up where Roommates leaves off but we do have some flashbacks to parts of Sami and Matt's relationship that took part during the time frame of Rrommates but we didn't get to see. This one is told in dual POV's. Nan's POV is current time with Sami's POV being the flashbacks until the flashbacks catch up with current time.

I really did enjoy this book but I do have to say with reading Roommates (book 2) in Nov of 2015 right after it came out then reading Puck Buddies (Book 1) several months ago when it was released the. Reading this one. Ow, for the first part of the book I found myself very confused trying to get back into the story and remember all the characters and their stories as well as supporting characters and found myself referring back to the other two books to look things up and get refreshed. Once I got up to speed and things started to fall in place, I got completely engaged with the story and things began to happen.

I loved getting to see more of these great characters, at times they annoyed me, and I really wanted to smack their spoiled asses but in the end all of really made the story. I have to say I am left wondering what more is in store for them all but excused to see what baby Daddies will bring, I know with Tara Brown it will be full of lots of sarcasm, fun as well as some hot sext parts!
