Can Logan force himself to let Alison go if it will save her life? Or will she become just another loss he has to endure?
A.M. Myers lives in Cody, Wyoming – a little town about an hour away from Yellowstone National Park – with her husband and their two boys. She has been writing for most of her life and even had a poem nationally published in the sixth grade but the idea of writing an entire book always seemed so daunting until a certain story got stuck in her head and wouldn’t leave her alone until she started typing. Now, she can’t imagine a time when she won’t be letting all of the stories in her head spill out onto paper. A.M. Myers writes emotional, gripping romantic suspense novels that will leave you swooning and hanging off the edge of your seat from start until finish. When she is not writing, you can usually find her up in the mountains with her boys, camping, fishing and taking photos of the beautiful landscape she is lucky enough to call home.
This has got to be one of the first times that I have gone completely against the majority of the reviewers. This book was really lacking for me, and the majority of the book I really wanted to quit reading it. I will say that the twist at the end I was not expecting in the least. So Bravo to that. But besides that I am going to have to give this book a huge NOOOOOOOO. So let me just summarize the book real fast so I can get into my rant. Because I must rant. You have Ali who is a crime reporter who is looking for another way to help because writing for the newspaper that she is at is draining. Storm is an ex military man who lost his fiance traumatically and has put up a wall ever since not letting anyone get close to him, he is also in a Motorcycle club. He has a dog named Bear. The dog gets out of the fence and tackles Ali who happens to be Storm's neighbor. they fall in love and she is stalked. the end. So my rant. Problem 1# She quits her job and as she is venting in a coffee shop across the street, A billionaire heiress happens to over hear her conversation and gives her a job because she is a huge fan? WTF?? In what world? How? Problem 2# Bear basically breaks the girls knee and instead of being upset, Ali goes all googoo eyes at Storm? NOPE! Problem #3 They get together fast, I mean like whiplash fast. One minute he is determined to stay away because he doesn't think that he should be happy. the next he is at her door taking the date. Demanding that she eat. Problem #4 I am all for Alpha men, and a bit of dominance but what the hell. He wasn't strong or dominant. He was domineering to a fault, even a bit tyrannical! It wasn't cute, or sexy. It was infuriating. Ex) When Ali was at the photo shoot, Storm just showed up using stalker like information, and when the photographer bends to kiss her on the hand. THE HAND, he flips out and demands that he not touch her.... someone tell me how that is sweet? Problem #5 They go into no real detail about this Adam person from her past but brings his name up like a million times I really wanted to like this book, really I did but sheesh.
Ok Rant over.

WOW this was the first I read from this author.. now I need to go get the rest in this series.. This book had me from the get go. I love MC books so when I got the opportunity to read this I jumped.. Ali is a crime reporter and when her boss decides to have a competition for a promotion that everyone (including himself) knows should be hers.. she is hesitant but figures it’s not going to hurt anything.. what’s a few blind dates.. and writing a story about the experience.. But after a complete and epic failure the promotion she deserved is given to the competition.. This sends Ali off the deep end she ends up telling her boss off and quitting.. On top of that.. getting trampled on by a rouge dog.. who just so happens to belong to the oh so sexy neighbor.. Logan (storm) is a member of the Bayou Devils MC. They get a call and then they rescue women from abusive relationships and help them find new lives. Storm is very damaged, with having a horrific past who can blame him.. but when he meets his absolutely gorgeous neighbor (who his dog just trampled) .. he has make it his mission to get to know her.. Can Ali and Storm find love again? This book had it all.. drama, suspense, mystery, heartbreak (oh the heartbreak.. make sure you have the tissues handy), love, happiness… I am sooo glad I got to read this story.
I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. This was a new to me author and this was her first book, so I didn't really know what to expect, but what I got was a story that is well written, with a complicated plot and tons of twists and turns. It was definitely on the longer side and maybe could have been cut back just a bit, but there was enough going on to hold my attention to the end despite this. Character development was fantastic and I was totally invested in their outcomes. The FMC was a strong woman, but still vulnerable and needy sometimes, making her super relatable. The MMC seemed believable. Sometimes super sweet, sometimes a flip-flopping turd that needed to be smacked upside the head ;) Super protective and obsessively jealous and possessive (just the way I like them :D) The motorcycle club has a great cast of characters and I'm excited to read each of their stories.
This book definitely was interesting with the mystery surrounding both main characters. We have Storm/Logan who has a troubled past and lost his ex through a horrible tragedy. He is part of an MC who also rescue women from domestic violence.
Ali works for a newspaper and does the advice columns. She becomes an overnight sensation and finds herself a stalker.
Logan and Ali are neighbors. This was very much an Insta-love romance. Logan‘s ex also had a stalker who is the one that ended up murdering her.
This book is really hard to rate because while it’s supposed to be an MC, there is very little detail about the actual motorcycle club world. They have “church” here and there but it’s more so about Ali and her friends and this stalker who we also get his POV .
I found it very weird during the times of fear and emotional distress because of this stalker leaving crazy things on her doorstep or love letters, Ali and Storm just kept having sex. It was fucking weird. Also Ali Claims to be scared and Logan keeps telling her to leave and stay at the clubhouse or his house, and she just kept saying no I want to stay. It’s like what the fuck? Why are you so dumb?!
It was also very predictable. Storm would leave Ali stating that he will never take his eyes off for her and it was just really predictable and what was gonna happen.
I skipped the sex scenes and sped read to the finish line. The peak of the drama was predictable, lack of detail, rushed, and over all just MEH.
Justice was served. Yes to a happily ever after. I won’t be continuing the series but it was an ok book to finish off my Friday afternoon.
This was a really good book so I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. It was rather long and I prefer longer books but I do think just a little could have been compacted down. No obvious errors that slowed me down. There was definitely steam with all the naughty bits so keep this for adults.
Two broken people who lived next door to each other for years but never met. Logan's story comes out really slow. I'm like someone please tell me about what broke him.
Ali's story about her broken heart comes pretty early so we know about that. Her other thing is the job and how she no longer enjoys it
There's only a little bit of the club life but what they do is great work. Logan got involved with it after his broken heart but I can't imagine him not being part of the club. Hopefully there will be more about it later.
I do recommend this book. Now off to the next book 📚
This was my first A.M. Myers read and I quite enjoyed this story. The story lacked a bit of character development, for me. This made it difficult to fully connect with Logan and Allison, but their story was strong enough to keep me reading.
Logan Chambers aka Storm is ex-military. After suffering a loss, he eventually joins the ranks of an MC to gain the sense of family that he's missing. The MC isn't like other MCs I've come across. They do good and help women out of difficult situations. This goes to show that the men he calls brothers are all caring protectors and are truly good people. Logan is deeply romantic, yet a bit broody.
Allison James is a reporter turned columnist. She's strong and independent with no interest in what's out there in the dating pool. She's been burned and would rather just focus on her career than deal with the possibility of dealing with more heartache.
Upon their first meeting, it's an instant connection for them both. And from there, Logan has to battle with the guilt of moving forward and the need/desire he can't deny; while Allison is ready to take the leap without reservation.
These characters had amazing chemistry with plenty of sexual tension to keep the pages steamy. With the typical broody guy playing the push and pull game, Allison had no qualms about putting him in his place. She made it clear that she wasn't up for playing that game. 'Put up or shut up', so to speak. I liked that about her. And it was so different from most heroines I come across where their naivty just keeps that game going.
Now with Logan's past, the story kept going describing him has dark. Even the character himself kept indicating he wasn't a good guy or didn't deserve any good in his life... but I never picked up on that. He was a bit moody, but what guy isn't? I just didn't feel any of that in the story.
A bit of this story was a miss for me, but it still got a 4 star rating but the suspense and characters still kept me reading to find out how it all ends. If I had been able to connect more with Logan and Allison, it would have easily been a five star read for me.
As a straight, white British guy in my 30's, I understand I am not the target audience for a book like this, but good god, Logan is worse than the "Stalker" and he is acting like these manic controlling, abusive men he deals with, in his role helping women who are victims of domestic abuse.
Ali is written as someone who is actually really intelligent, yet for some reason she's getting off on being steamrollered by Logan. Ali starts off as someone I would never dream of accepting being treated the way she is. They seem to be more in lust, than falling in love and wanting to stay with each other forever. Everything about their dynamic screams as really wrong in this book and there is no redeeming characters in this first book.
While MC Romance, is not the typical genre I read (I like Urban Fantasy mostly), I have enjoyed reading the "Devil's Angels MC" and "The Kings of Retribution Louisiana Chapter" series and while the Devil's Angels has some of the most funny scenes (intended) in it I've read in years, it has a well developed plot of the main protagonists and The King's book has Luna, the deaf heroine (she's actually adorable and has made me want to find more series with a deaf female protag) , Hopelessly Devoted has none of this charm.
As a guy, I could never even remotely dream of behaving like Logan does to Ali. I have been stunned at all the positive reviews by the female members on here. I would genuinely would like to discuss with people on here, what is "hot and sexy" about Logan's attitude and behaviour in this book.
Taking a more technical look at this book, the plot is all over the shop and there are some very cliche tropes in this book. I seriously have read better fanfiction that this book, which alone has me so utterly stunned with this story. Normally I don't find any problems with me being totally outside a target audience/demographic, but as you can tell, this book just leaves me really shocked, I just don't get "IT"! This has been the first time I have written a review, where I explain what demographic I fall in, as a way of highlighting my utter shock in Logan being treated as a protagonist/hero.
Alison James is having to go above and beyond to try and get the promotion she wants at the paper she works at. Three dates from a dating app to write an article, three dates too many by the time she writes her article for sure. Having had enough of a boss who couldn't recognize a real journalist even if they walked up and smacked him upside the head with a newspaper. Fed up and ready for a new start, Ali finds herself with a dream job that she can't refuse.
Logan 'Storm' Chambers had it all once and lost it. Now he finds himself helping his next door neighbor Ali and knows she is a game changer for him. Storm is torn because he has yet to truly let go of his past all the while he wants Ali but is he ready to confront his demons. When Ali is put in danger will it send him spiraling or will he focus on keeping Ali safe.
New series for me and what a way to start it. I really liked Ali and I thought she was a strong women and stands up to Storm even when he is pushing her away. The other characters in the story I am intrigued with and cannot wait to read more about. Action packed and I could not put down.
"From the moment I met you, my fate was sealed..."
*****5 HOPELESSLY DEVOTED STARS*****
I'm not all that familiar with A. M. Myers, but this incredible MC story has me eager to seek out more of her work! Any fan of MC reads will absolutely LOVE Hopelessly Devoted! In the movie, Grease...Olivia Newton-John signs a song titled Hopelessly Devoted To You; I had this song in my head the entire time I was reading! The title fits perfectly as we see the two main characters push away and come together as they each fight the draw they have to one another. Hot alpha MC biker, a woman jaded, love at first sight, and a 'devoted' connection that has the possibility to keep them from being together. The story contains everything that makes for a 5 STARS read; pain, heartache, chemistry, SMOKING HOT sex, drama, and danger! Highly recommended one click/one sitting read!!! Alison (Ali) and Storm (Logan) have found themselves in a situation where the bond they've formed is solid and strong. When a dangerous stalker enters the picture, will their bond be broken from trust issues or epic tragedy? Will the devotion they have for one another keep them together or force them apart for their own safety?
You know how every once in awhile you find that rare unicorn of a book? To me this is one of those. I mean this one had my stomach in knots and feeling things I rarely feel in my stomach. Such a great story. Words can’t describe how much I loved it. The suspense was great and the characters had me swooning just so many things I can’t explain. Please try this book. I don’t think you’ll regret it. Can’t wait to see what is to come with this series!! *This book was available on Kindle Unlimited at the time of my review*
3 1/2 stars. Good characters I liked and some hot and sexy love scenes. They both had a few TSTL moments a few bits were kind of clichéd but over all liked it very much and would read more from this author.
I would give it a 4.3/5 because it started to get boring and dragged out at one point which was unnecessary and kinda ruined the book in my opinion. Overall good book.
Every new book that I read from A.M. Myers is better than the last. Her characters always have such depth and the stories always take me for the best ride. Hopelessly Devoted was right on track with these feelings. I felt such intrigue after reading the prologue and was eager to see how the story would come together. I loved Alison right away. She was spunky and had a potty-mouth that I could relate to in a heartbeat. Her no-nonsense attitude was contagious. The dates that she had to endure for her job at the paper and her responses to them were hilarious. The sexual tension in Ali and Storm's first meeting leapt right from the pages. I wanted to know more about Storm and the soul-crushing pain he was constantly fighting. He was such a terrific and vivid character. He was passionate and possessive, everything that I look for in a biker alpha. Ali had an unbeatable strength that endeared her to me instantly. She had her own demons to overcome along the way, but did her best to be fearless in the face of them. The chapters with Chris were bone-chillingly creepy. I was constantly held in suspense wondering what he would do next. Myers did a terrifyingly great job of writing from the mind of a madman. Ali and Storm had such chemistry and passion. I loved reading their sexy scenes, especially a certain one that took place in the shower. I almost needed my own cold shower after that one! I was completely shocked by the conclusion of the drama. I hadn't seen that coming! And the way that everything worked out was perfect. I can't wait to read more of the books in this series.
This was just simply bad writing. The author tells one thing but the lead character acts another way. Not only is the character not thought through, but also a hypocrite and contradicts herself constantly.
The story starts out with our lead character wanting to get a promotion. By getting the promo, she has to win a competition by writing a fun and sexy column about dating three men via a social dating service app.
Contradictions: She is a journalist. Yet, she isn’t able to look up an address up front, where the first date takes place? She chooses a personal trainer for her first date, yet she is surprised and loathes the fact he chose a sportive activity for the date? I remind you, she is a journalist.
She doesn’t want to date at all. This is work. Professional. Research for her article. After the second date is a fail, I keep wondering. Why is it a fail. it can’t be a fail, being simply research and not personal. So again, she doesn’t show much professionalism.
Next she compares herself to a prostitute? Because she has a date in an upper class restaurant? You know, one can be underdressed without comparing one self with ‘pretty woman’. Sigh. And why didn’t she look the place up before going?
....I would like to say that I’m shocked but in the ten minutes I’ve been here, I’ve gotten a pretty good read on this guy, and I’m not sure that he could say much that would surprise me.... And guess what, the next instance her mouth is hanging open in shock.
I don’t know what the author is thinking really. The character isn’t really thought through.
Then we get again misleading information. She panics because she thinks she looses her promotion. Because her third date is bad and she wants to cut it short. That doesn’t make any sense. Because she cut the first date short by faking an SOS call with her girlfriend to leave and didn’t worry at all. It all contradicts itself. I just don’t get it. The author tells us her boss told her to write a fun and sexy column about three dates. But during the dates she acts, as if she wasn’t able to choose her dates by herself via the dating app, and is disappointed as if someone else choose them for her. The first she cuts short and at the third she acts as if she looses her job by doing so.
She is on the phone with her best friend who wants to know, why, she after 2 years of single lady life suddenly goes on a second date in two days. And instead of a short answer, it is for the job, a column she is writing and more details later, they talk back and forth, she is insisting on not being able to tell her now but will do so later!!
Her reasoning about cheating is very weird. It helped her see things? I might add that breaking up and talking out why before one even cheats could also do the trick. To realise in hindsight the relationship wasn’t healthy or lopsided. But I guess to everyone it’s own. Yet she criticises and isn’t even understanding when someone is still dealing with anger and feelings of betrayal and been taking advantage of after being cheated on. That of course isn’t first date talking material, but she told us not a few sentences before she could see herself getting friends with the guy. Just friends. So then act as a friend, even having the experience of being cheated on in common.
This is in general a bad writing. I don’t think I will last much longer with this book. It was in a desperate need of an editor or even a beta reader. To give the book a concept and foremost a consistent character. The idea so far wasn’t bad. But the execution lacks. The side characters were one dimensional and stereotypical. I can’t tell much about the storyline as I am only at chapter 4 and it fails miserably.
Yet another awesome book from A.M. Myer. Can not say enough about her books. They just suck you in. Loved reading about Storm and Alison's story. Can't wait to meet the rest of the Bayou Devil's
This book had me hopelessly devoted. I became totally absorbed in the story very quickly, and stayed absorbed until the last word was read. A. M. Myers delivered an edgy, dramatic, supenseful tale with more action than you could possibly fit in one book, instant attraction that burst into life and exploded from each page, to crazy loving that one character fought, but passion knew no boundaries with this sexy couple.
Storm and Alison had that connection every single one of us yearns for. That attraction that just makes you a slave to emotion, makes you look forward to the next meeting, makes your palms sweaty and your breath leave your body with every look. Emotions that make you wonder how you made it this far in life without them, make you miss them when they are not by your side and make you restless until you meet again.
Logan knew what Alison would become to him the very instant his eyes find hers. Alison lost her heart to Storm also in that very moment. The heat between these 2 was so palpable, it had its own heartbeat. The passion was scorching. They had my undivided attention and I loved every minute of it! Even when my heart was in my throat, anticipating the next move, my attention never waned. The author very cleverly spun a fast, action packed thriller, with a little bit of spice and ALL things nice. And deliciously naughty.
With desire aplenty, Hopelessly Devoted was a fantasy come to life. A. M. Myers keeps you spellbound with incident after incident, keeps you intrigued with the backward and forward pull of Storm and Alison's stuttering love, while keeping you breathleesly waiting for the next debacle that they will have to overcome. There is not one passive part in this book. It will leave you panting like you have completed a mammoth run, and deliciously spent.
I give Hopelessly Devoted 5 stars and will ever remain hopelessly devoted to A. M. Myers and the brilliance that I am assured of every time. A definate instant and automatic one click author, for me.
I can't believe I'm just finding out about this author!!! I've never read Ms. Myers before and I believe that's the big oversight on my part. If all of her stories are this well written, I'm in!!
Logan, aka Storm as his MC brothers know him, has lived in pain most of his adult life. Seeing the atrocities that happened in the military and then coming back stateside he didn't know if he would ever be pulled out of the black well of despair that he has fallen into. Then he meets a woman and she begins to pull him out, just when she agrees to marry him she is murdered. And that puts Storm into a tailspin and he says he will never again let a woman into his heart. Then comes Alison barreling into his life and he just doesn't know what to do with his feelings for her.
Alison James has had a rough time at work, her boss insists she compete with another woman to get the column she wants to write. She has to sign up for a dating site and go on three dates and whoever writes the best column gets the job. Well all three dates go from bad to worse and then she doesn't even get the job so she quits. Jobless with no prospects she gets her saving grace when she is offered a job writing an advice column.
Storm meets Ali when his dog tackles her and there is an instant connection. The chemistry between the two is off the charts!! Everything is going good between them until Logan finds out Ali has a stalker and everything comes rushing back to Logan. He goes all alpha and protective on Ali and he wants to lock her away to protect her. The past is coming back to haunt Logan. He lost one woman that he loved will he lose Ali also?
I highly recommend this book! I can't wait to read more of the series.
** I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **
Hopelessly Devoted (Bayou Devils MC) By: A. M. Myers 5 out of 5 stars
Hopelessly Devoted by A.M. Myers is the first book by this author I have had the pleasure of reading. I can guarantee you that it will not be my last. If I could I would give this book an unlimited star rating. Mrs Myers has written a book full of hope, love, and suspense. Hopelessly Devoted writing is refreshing and has a newness approach to other MC books. Logan Chambers ( Storm) is damage from the tragedies In his life. Ex military consumed with the guilt that he has made it home alive. When the men in his unit didn't make it back. He loses his fiancé when she is murdered. He only has his brothers of the Bayou Devils MC. He is a part of the MC brothers at his back. They rescue woman from abusive relationships and help them find new lives. Storm’s saving grace. Alison James is a strong, independent and sassy. Determined to be the best newspaper reporter. Who works hard to make it , not on her knees as her boss thinks is the best way. Circumstance beyond Alison control have her going through a bad couple of weeks in her life. Until A big dog name Bear comes and knocks her down and she meets the owner of this beast of a dog. Storm and Alison both feel the instant attraction in this chance meeting. Hopelessly Devoted captured me and pulled me along as the story unfolded. Full of intense moments, depth and suspense. Mrs Myers has written a book with so much going on, but not too much that she loses you. The attraction between Alison and Storm has you hopelessly in love with them. I highly recommend Hopelessly Devoted by A.M. Myers. I would love to share so much more from this book but I don't want to spoil the oppurinty for you to fall in love with Hopelessly Devoted. A.M. Myers has become an one clicked author for me.
Title:Hopelessly Devoted Author:A.M. Myers Series: Bayou Devils MC
Hopelessly Devoted was a thrilling 5 star read.
Alison is a crime reporter who is a very strong and determined woman. She is passionate about her work. After an epic failure at trying to get the promotion she deserved she ends up telling her boss off (which was perfect) and walking out. When she gets home she ends up getting knocked over by a very happy puppy and she meets his very hot and sexy owner, Storm.
His eyes are gorgeous but it’s the haunting sadness that holds me captive and draws me to him.
Storm (Logan) is now the VP of the Bayou Devils MC that protects abused women and children. He is struggling emotionally from his demons from the past. When he meets his neighbor Ali, he can’t stop thinking about her. Something about her has drawn him in completely and he can't stay away from her.
It’s better for everyone that I stay away from her. Even if her smile chases away the demons that I thought would haunt me forever.
When Alison becomes the target of a stalker and Storms past comes back to haunt him things really heat up and get edge of your seat thrilling. You will whip right through the pages to see what’s coming next.
I am so in love with Storm, he has such a big heart and was so sweet to Alison. And the first kiss, OMG I was pulled right in as soon as I started, there are so many emotions, twists and surprises your head will be spinning. Alison couldn’t have been more perfect, even though at times Storm would leave her confused with his actions. And the chemistry between these two, wow. The secondary characters were great, my favorite was Izzy. I loved the bar scene it was hilarious. This is my second read from A.M. Myers and I loved it, I look forward to reading more from this series.
I finished this book in two days. I could not put it down. This book is from " The Guys " of the Bayou Devils. Dont let the name scare you off. These men have made it their mission to protect women and chilren from horrific lives. When of their own Storm has an accidental run in with his neighbor everything changes. Ali is the beautiful neighbor with her life in order and her closed to love anytime soon. With a accidental mauling by Bear the Lab from next door, her life takes a total turn. Avoiding what is obvious to all around these two find every themselves in the purest form of love. Storm is running from a haunting past and Ali from a jaded heart. It becomes obvious they are perfectly made for eachother. Through a mighty frightening situation Storm finds himself doing everything possible to save Ali's life and overcoming the past that haunts him. Ali finds that not all men are like her ex and she becomes the anchor in the storm. True love has no judgement, and will be the reason for living ...literally
I absolutely loved the Hidden Scars series and have been anxiously waiting to learn more about the men of the Bayou Devils MC. Finally reading Hopelessly Devoted, the first book in the Bayou Devils MC series was everything I hoped it could be.
AM Myers had proven yet again to be an exceptional writer with this beautiful and passionate story of a tortured soul and the strength and redemption of love.
So this not what I hoping for. Can't say it bad, but I got more excitement out what the bad guy was doing. I know that doesn't sound right, but it's how I found the book.
When the woman you love is cruelly taken away from you, can you allow yourself to love again? What if threats from your past threaten your newfound happiness? In Hopelessly Devoted, book one in the Bayou Devils MC series by A.M. Myers, we meet Logan, otherwise known as "Storm", a member of the Bayou Devils MC. Logan has gone through a loss so profound that it has deeply changed him. He lost his fiancee several years ago and has been living in despair ever since. When he meets Alison, his neighbour, he is instantly struck - he finds that he can breathe again when she is near. The two embark on a romance but when Logan's past rears its ugly head and Alison is put in danger, he needs to make the decision of whether he can keep her - or whether he should let her go for her own good.
Logan and Alison's romance is the stuff of...well, a really good romance novel. They face so many obstacles and at times, I felt my heart just aching along with theirs. Logan is a really great character. He has been through hell, and he is still an amazing man - oh and he is sexy as sin. His ability to love despite his past is wonderful to read. We all need a Logan in our lives. I loved how we really got to know both Logan and Alison - there was no skimping when it came to character development, and I really appreciated that. I read this book as part of the Bayou Devils MC boxset, which is out now and I am so happy to have the next book to move on to. I was left wanting so much more from this world. Stay tuned for more reviews as I eagerly read more from this series.
I am so in love. I think every book I read from A.M. Myers I all more in love with every character. I always have a new favorite book after I get don't reading the next book. Although it is so hard to decide what my favorite book is because I LOVE them all so much. This book pulled me in from the very beginning. I love the vivid detail that are I in the book. It makes me feel like I am a fly on the way because I can just picture so clearly what is happening in the story. The book is filled with so many life like situation. I can never get enough of the book that A.M. Myers writes. Cannot wait for the next book to come out. The waitingredients is the hardest part because I get sucked so into the characters and books that the waiting is hard. Will definitely be reading in the future again!!
Wow! I came across this book while trying to find my next read and thought, what the heck let’s go! So glad I did. Alison is very likable and independent. We see her get pushed down time and time again but she gets up with her head high and trudged right back. Now Logan “storm” was amazing! I felt his words and actions in my bones! This author has a great way of making you be in the story and going with them. A lot of drama, mystery & secrets. It’s all comes exploding at once but I was all in and couldn’t read fast enough to see what will happen next. I did feel it was a little long, but it worked. Onto the next!
This was okay. Low key wattpad vibes, but the smut was really good. I probably could've finished this quicker, but the pace of finding out what hurt Logan was slooooow. Ali kinda pissed me off a couple of times like girl, you're in danger, and you worried about staying at home. Certain parts were very predictable, but idk maybe that just the writing style. Logan has my standards touching Jesus at this point lordy. I would have liked to read about the wedding scene and an epiloge of them will kids. Overall, pretty good just was missing something idk. Not really interested in the side characters, so prob won't finish the series.
I loved this book and couldn't put it down! Storm and Ali are the main characters in this book, supported by an excellent cast. There was humour and banter which had me laughing. There was drama that had me captured. Mystery that kept me desperate to get to the end to find out what was going on. And sizzling hot chemistry between Storm and Ali. Read and enjoy!!!
I entered into this one because I am into MC's lately but this one kept me in with much more than that. The characters Logan and Alison do a number on you with thanks to his dog it goes from there. What she does is interesting but it also brings drama to the table. He is hooked in being there but more than that he grows with you keeping your face in and not being able to let go at all until you devoured it all.
