I’ve always been a romantic. My mom used to tease me and say that my two great loves in life were art and love stories – and she wasn’t exactly wrong. But living in New York City made finding a boyfriend hard, especially when I worked a demanding job as a gallery assistant for someone who made “Boss From Hell” a whole new game.

And then, when I was least expecting it, I met Hugh and I was swept off my feet. He was handsome, charming, and, oh yeah, did I mention British? I knew it was wrong to hop into bed with him so quickly after we met. But I couldn’t resist – he was the most charming man I’d ever met.

When Hugh lied to me, I felt like my trust was broken forever. I couldn’t believe, or even understand, why he’d do such a thing. But as I was about to find out, sometimes life isn’t always black and white. And everyone has secrets, not to mention a reason for keeping them.

Was Hugh going to break my heart into a million pieces? Or, even scarier, would we fall so deeply in love that it obsessed us both?

I voluntarily received this free book in exchange for an honest review. I liked this book, I enjoyed the characters Hugh and Amelia but it was a little short and wanting more to the story. I do look forward to reading more from Erika Rose!

Story premise good. The writing was great until they left the gallery for last time then the story goes so fast it becomes ridiculous.

I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review." I really like the first part of the story but at one point it just jumped and that was it. I wish there was more to the story.
