After failing her first driving test, young Marian from Pennsylvania is ready to take her second. Accompanied by Mrs. Ericson, they arrive on time, but darn the luck— it's the same bigot instructor again!
Ugh. Hated this. And I guess that's the point and aim of the story. So I guess mission accomplished.
Ugh. Still hated it.

Ugh. Igual lo odié.

The Test is a nice shortstory for everyone who likes to read and doesn't have a lot of time. The Test is a very special written book by Angelica Gibbs, what a like the most of the story is that you start without any information, and you are from the first moment right in the story, at the the end all became clear with a nice twist in the last sentences. The author has put nice subjects and details in the story like: The black people-white people discussion , what gives you an idea of time and also the struggles with beginning drivers is a funny subject to read. What i liked the most about the short story is the thing that Mrs. Gibbs has put in it, likely the feeling after you have read the story is very pleasing, I was very happy and I thougt really that the story what I just read was a piece of art in the literature, small but so full of sense. Like I allready said, The Test is a must read, sometimes the best things are the prettiest things.
Really good book that highlights the racist views of many in the Southern States of America in the mid-nineteenth century. Great text to study at school, being used for my National 5 English.
