Radclyffe has written over forty-five romance and romantic intrigue novels, dozens of short stories, and, writing as L.L. Raand, has authored a paranormal romance series, The Midnight Hunters. She has also edited Best Lesbian Romance 2009 through 2015 as well as multiple other anthologies. She is an eight-time Lambda Literary Award finalist in romance, mystery, and erotica—winning in both romance and erotica. A member of the Saints and Sinners Literary Hall of Fame, she is also an RWA Prism, Lories, Beanpot, Aspen Gold, and Laurel Wreath winner in multiple mainstream romance categories. In 2014, she received the Dr. James Duggins Outstanding Mid-Career Novelist award from the Lambda Literary Foundation. In 2004, she founded Bold Strokes Books, an independent LGBTQ publishing company, and in 2013, she founded the Flax Mill Creek Writers Retreat offering writing workshops to authors in all stages of their careers.

She states, “I began reading lesbian fiction at the age of twelve when I found a copy of Ann Bannon’s Beebo Brinker. That book and others like it convinced me that I was not alone, that there were other women who felt like I did. Our literature provides support and validation and very often, a lifeline, for members of our community throughout the world. I am proud and honored to be able to publish the many fine authors at Bold Strokes Books and to contribute in some small way to the words that celebrate the LGBTQ experience.”

Radclyffe lives with her partner, Lee, in New York state.

For my last read of 2017, I wanted to read something by Radclyffe. Rad is the first lesfic author I remember reading, and one I still enjoy to this day. Problem is I have read all her full length books. All I had left to read were some short stories. This short has some good ratings, so I decided to pick it. I’m happy to say it was a good one.

I want to be honest, this is very short and there is not much of a storyline. But, this was hot with a capital HOT. I was impressed by sensing actually chemistry in such a short read. The sex scene was very steamy and the kind you don’t want to read on a lunch break when you are at work:)

If you are looking for some heat, you won’t be disappointed by this. Not a bad way to end 2017.

Another short erotic story I found on Scribd. This time it's Training Op by Radclyffe.

31 pages, first person short about two federal agents. One is lesbian with a serious crush on her straight friend and colleague. They go to the same conference and share a hotel room. Then it turns out that her friend isn't as straight as she thought. ;-)

f/f explicit

Themes: federal agents, secret crush, personal protection detail, sharing a hotel room, ah yes, when the clits are stiff and pulsing you know you are reading a Radclyffe story, LOL.

Short. Sweet. Sexy.

A super-short friends-to-lovers moment.

But a good moment.

Two federal agents who first met as recruits cross paths again in a feds conference. One is a lesbian and the other isn't. Or is she?

Short erotica story, emphasis on short. It reads in half an hour. However, it's well written and very hot. 4 stars.

I mean.. where was the rest of it?
It was basically a brief lead in and sex scene.
All good and well but I was thinking there'd be a little more from Radclyffe.
For what it was though... Nice.

Waiting for love to be spoken brings fire to body and soul.

I need to get my heart slowed down. That was one hot moment and I felt every bit of it. Redcliffe takes you on a beautifully warm, emotionally charged really hot love story. Two women who have loved each other for years finally let everything come out. Written so you feel their passion, this is one you read alone.
