RUNNING BLIND!!!
Ok guys, I'm just going to put it out there. Withrow is an amazing author with endless talents that he uses to pull us into his imagination where he builds a world around us until everything else ceases to exist. His characters are well developed, intriguing, complex and realistic. Each characters personalities are as unique as the individuals in the role that was created for each with such strong qualities that set them apart. Be they friend or foe, they continue to push forward to achieve the goals set out. Withrow doesn't pulls any punches, cut the scenes short or botch them. He directs them onward and of course they comply. Armed with an incredible plot thats on point and believable with such realism and descriptions added with vivid detail and it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Withrow doesn't scimp or rush with all the action, suspense and danger that keeps your heart pounding with nerve racking results. With all the twists and turns and surprises around every corner it keeps you on a razors edge as the tension ratchets up and the stakes higher. Withrow did a phenomenal job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job Michael, thanks for sharing this remarkable read with us.

Well this continuation was full of depressing times. Especially near the end. And I had totally called what the twist was.

This book is set about ten years after the first novel. The characters have all grown older but have not necessarily grown in the personal lives. However, this makes sense with the situations that were presented in the first novel. Throughout this continuation, the characters finally decide to leave their current lives and start anew.

However, they have to face adversary and Arena: Part Two focuses on the characters trying to overcome these challenges. Do they? Read the book to find out. It will definitely shock you.
As I finished this book, I had to heave a heavy sigh. This is not necessarily a bad thing. It simply means that I was immersed in the story and have intense thoughts and feelings about it.

I enjoyed the few new characters that were introduced. However, I feel like at least one of them could have been fleshed out a litle bit more. But I can understand that he was more of a background character as opposed to a main character.

Overall, this was a good wrap-up for this story. If the author does produce another book in the series, I would read it in order to see where the characters go.

**Disclaimer: I received and ARC of this novel from the author. This is a completely honest review in exchange.**

Fan-frigging-tastic!!!!

Wow! There are no other words than just Wow for this epic tale!!
If I could give this book series "ten stars" It would still not be enough!

It's hard for me to review this book on its own. Winthrow has brought this series together so well it's really hard for me to break it up. So I'm not. I highly recommend this series as a whole.

Not only does this author bring you into this futuristic dystopian world of debts and death but he brings so much more!
The characters are so well written. The range of emotions they invoke are so vast you become emotionally attached to them.

This series had me from book one page one. I'm hooked. I can only hope Winthrow keeps them coming because I'll be twiddling my thumbs waiting.

High five..... Stars!!!
Well done!

Definitely a great follow up to the first book. Full of twists and turns, ups and downs. Can't wait for part 3!

Join Colston, Cole and Anna 10 years after the end of book one. Cole continues to reign as champion in the arena while Colton and Anna's love carries on. Prepare yourself for a whole new twist that will leave you speachless...

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review.

Warning, Gladiators ahead, along with some heartbreak for our heroes

If you have not read book 1 stop now as there may be a spoiler or 2 ahead. Book 2 picks up 10 years after book 1 and is a fantastic follow up. As I suspected, there will be pain for our heroes and retribution for our villains. Colston has become a large man now if not quite as big as his gladiator Cole. Colston's father is still as nasty as ever. The twist I was anticipating occurred. This is not due to the writer failing to concela it, but due to the fact that I read 5-600 books a year and thus have probably learned to clue into what is being hinted at, This book progresses at a breakneck pace and you wont be disappointed. If you have read book 1 you are gonna love book 2 & 3. I can also see where D. Michael WIthrow has grown as an author, the pacing and writing are better than in book 1. This is a winner!
