What a beautiful story. I loved how he has loved her forever but she didn't know. I know he was a jerk at times but he had to be cautious. The Romance was beautiful and I loved how Jamie explained how handsome he was.

Marina is a nurse in the oncology department of a children's hospital. While she loves her job, she hates Dr. Deacon St. Nick, though she is stupidly attracted to him. As far as Marina is concerned, Dr. St. Nick has slept his way through half of the nursing staff and she has no interest in being another notch on his bedpost.
Deacon is so attracted to Marina, but he doesn't want to date a co-workers after a disaster situation with a nurse he slept with casually. In an effort to stay away, Deacon acts like a jerk to Marina so that she would hate him and not get close to him. As a snowstorm comes in and prevents Marina from traveling safely, Deacon takes the opportunity to get closer to her and invites her to stay in his guest room.
This a quick read, but certainly worth it! 4 out of 5 stars.
In a setting that I imagine to be something like that of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Dr. Deacon St. Nick and nurse Marina Huestis work side by side caring for young patients with cancer while fighting their desire for each other.
The story is told in dual points of view from both Deacon and Marina’s points of view. For the most part the book was enjoyable and very engaging while skillfully exploring the many entanglements of our hearts while dealing with wincingly real frailties of life. I loved the basic plot and the characters, too. But I was disappointed that the author chose to diminish the real spirit of this holiday story with an overload of down and dirty graphically described sexual innuendos.
Marina had know Deacon for a couple of years. she always thought of him as a player. Unsatisfactory what he wanted her to think. Deacon knew Marina was his end game but convincing her would be the problem. This couple was amazing.
I am so excited to announce that the FULL NOVEL is releasing December 23rd! The cover reveal and pre order will be coming this week! I felt it was best to do some re writes, add some bonus chapters and give everyone an amazing full novel for this hilarious story. The new title will be Falling For St. Nick! The cover is STUNNING 🤩
This is definitely a must read. From start to finish I could not put it down! The characters are well developed and the way the authors bring the characters together makes for a perfect ending.
I absolutely loved this story. When two people hate each other there is always a underlying tension that I can’t get enough of and these two have plenty. Co-workers who fall and not when they are prepared too. A cute story of how the holidays can sometimes turn hate into love.
I was fortunate enough to receive an advance copy of this book and I read it in one sitting. Danielle Jamie is one of my favourite authors and I’ve been anxiously awaiting a new book from her and this didn’t disappoint. Dr douchbag sounded dreamy and the story of him and marina falling in love was one that left me smiling. One of the best books I’ve read recently.
Absolutely another amazing read by Danielle Jamie. I couldn't get enough of Dr. St. Nick. This was a super sexy fun Christmas read and I hope we get more of Marina and Dr. St Nick.
FALLING FOR ST NICK is a quick, light read that takes place around Christmas. I like the hospital gossip and drama that makes it hard for Deacon and Marina to be together. I had to wonder how Deacon was going to get Marina to realize he was a good guy after trying so hard to convince her he wasn’t to keep her at arm’s length.
You’ll like this book if you like stories with unrequited love, coworkers avoiding the workplace romance and living down a bad reputation. And it’s really focused on the steam, too.
Wow just love this story it’s sweet and you just fall in love with Marina and Deacon they have there up and down but who don’t. Once again Danielle never disappoint on her story’s. Definitely get this book.
Taking for St. Nick is such a cute read. This one will get you in the holiday spirit as Deacon and Marina start to see things differently. Deacon may come off as a player but he has only had eyes for Marina. I love how he fights his attraction until he can't. Marina fights with her own conflicts when it comes to Deacon. I love the chemistry between Deacon and Marina. This stole my heart. I loved it so much. You need to read this now.
✯✯½ ~ Probably a me-thing; I think I'm a bit burnt out on the "boss hot for employee, but resisting then insisting" Christmas storyline. Though, that's my fault for not reading blurbs before starting the books 🤪 There were typos and formatting errors in this one which turned off my grammatical OCDemoness, too.
Part 1 of Seducing St. Nick is in the Tempting Scrooge Anthology, I went back and re-read it again, so you may want to start there for the full story from Marina's perspective. But if not, you will not be lost if you start here, maybe just more pro Deacon. Anyhow to the review, for being set in a children's oncology wing, the story is surprisingly funny and steamy. The focus is on the hospital staff and while you meet a few patients and parents, you are learning more about the doctors and nurses. And now a bit about the story...
Deacon has been living a lie for the last year. A bad 'relationship' from his past taught him never to get involved with co-workers. Now the woman of his dreams works there and he acts like an ass to keep himself from asking her out. Marina hates Dr. St. Nick at the same time her body can't wait another day to have him. She is torn between her head and her heart. Dr. Doucebag, as she calls him, has slept with all the women here, and there is no way she'll be another notch on his post.
Favorite passage: “So do you want to be one of those people who goes through life never truly living? Never taking chances because you’re too afraid of falling? Or do you want to take risks, no matter how scary they may be, for the slightest chance you may just get to experience something extraordinary in a rather ordinary life?”
I loved reading the full story of Deacon and Marina. I have missed Danielle's writing so much, and I'm so happy to read her again. Falling for St. Nick was a great story, and I. So happy they got their HEA!
Can we say Hot!! Oh my! If you are looking for a fast. fun, steamy read, then Seducing St. Nick is for you! I was rooting for Marina and Deacon from the very beginning and watching them try to fight their feelings for each other was very intriguing! I couldn't get enough of these two!
So this is by far not my first book by Danielle but it's her first book in a bit. But I haven't read anything by Barbara. And I've always loved the way Danielle's way of storytelling. The way she can paint a picture sometimes just amazes me. And I really hope she is able to write more because i have missed her words.
Deacon and Marina's chemistry was off the charts!! Like when they say there is a fine line between love and hate they were definitely talking about this couple. Like the fireworks between them before and after they got together was so explosive and I was here for it all. I just knew they were going to burn that hospital down. And if Danielle wanted to write some more about this couple I would definitely read it!!! Of you want a cute, sexy, funny, and explosive Christmas read i would recommend this one.

A fantastic Christmas book!! Enemies to Lovers is one of my favorite tropes. The schedule tension, the bickering and bantering kept me turning pages. The story had me not wanting to put my Kindle down. I need to know how this would play out! It was perfect. Heartwarming scenes with children fight cancer battles broke my heart but written in a way that it didn't bring the story down.
Must read... Danielle is my fave romance and steamy authors.. and she did it again with love for Dr st Nick.. you will want to read to k ow why we all fall in love with him.. and I will for sure be re-reading thia again...
