This book is brilliant, written so simply while it explains the most complex dynamics of the Universe. How this dog can do this is beyond me but Jack crawls right into your heart and with his gentle care and wisdom converts your heart to be more loving, more open and more faithful. Jack not only has opened my mind but he has brought my faith back to me, lost so long ago when it was shoved down my throat. There is no greater gift than a great story like this because it totally changes who you are and how you perceive everything. You must read this book if you grieve, if you struggle with relationships or if you need something to believe in. There is something in this book for everyone and it magically fulfills the very thing each reader needs. Powerful. Thank you Jack!

Very interesting read!

This book goes really in depth about the Rainbow bridge, death and God, our Master. I was amazed at how emotional I got in certain parts of this book. I felt like I wrote some of it! Even though I had a very strong bond with my dog, and she will always be in my heart, I can't get her to come into my dreams, as Jack did with Kate.. I'm hoping it will happen soon for me. Love never dies. I never really knew that dogs can come back as another dog. That was so incredible to read! And talk about how there is a plan for everyone, and that our pets who have passed all have a hand in it, along with God.. I loved this book!

Uplifting and refreshing

Obviously this storyline appeals to me which is one reason I rated it the way I did. Also it is well written and flows along nicely. I like the way she mixed spirituality with down to earth advice about grieving and moving on with life. It really helped me out as I recently lost a good friend.

Another book in Kate McGahan's series about the loss of her dog Jack. These books are a great read and a wonderful help if you are grieving your own pet. Thoroughly recommend reading the series, including Lizard. She has also written "Only Gone from your Sight" and the first book I read was 'It is not putting me down it is raising me up". That book started my long healing journey with Kate's books. Although written from Kate's perspective, you can definitely get a lot of help from these books.

Heals Your Heart

If you have ever loved a pet like it's a family member and death has taken them away, you must read this book. Only God knows the destiny of our lost loved pets and He loves us unconditionally. Perhaps, they are only a dream away!
